A beautiful product with no way to…

A beautiful product with no way to install it. The celtic shelf bracket's design does not leave any room for screws or nails to attach it to the wall, and there is no keyhole hanger routed into the back. I don't have a router set-up or anyone who can do that - so we had to try to use nails in the least conspicuous places, but of course, the wood spit putting it in - and the brackets are way too expensive to destroy like that.

The instructions simply say to use the keyhole brackets (available in other corbels and shelf brackets)... but there aren't any. When I called, I was told the company isn't interested in addressing the problem in any way, and I should just return them....

Love the items we received and the selection on the site. Everything was great but I didn’t love that my handles and knobs came from two different purveyors and arrived a week apart.

Some of my items would not be available…

Some of my items would not be available for almost 3 months. Some other items not for a few weeks. The items scheduled for a few weeks were further delayed. I cancelled the rest of my order. The customer service when I called, however, was good. That's why I gave 2 stars instead of 1.

Ordered turned wood corner moulding…

Ordered turned wood corner moulding guards for my hallway walls. They were of nice quality but one was warped and the other had a slice missing from the top of it's finial. I gave a call to customer service and they promptly sent two replacements with no problem. Corner guards have created a fine finish accent and protect the corners in the winding hallway from nick's and smudges.

I purchased multiple items about…

I purchased multiple items about $1,400.00 in total. I had to make multiple calls to find out specifics and was told that I would get a call back within 24 hrs with the info. Never got the call back. So I had to call back again. this happened three times. Finally I got in touch with someone who had the answer. Bottom line is the phone staff is not very well trained. Not to mention that a customer shouldn't have to spend three hours of time on the phone getting answers. Also one of the items was unnecessary and I wanted to return it but the Van Dyke's contact person said that I couldn't return the item. Terrible service after the sale

Why not add some class?

The web site made it easy to make a selection for a decorative piece for our boring mantle. The fact that there were so many sizes to consider really helped. I was able to find just the right size to fit the space. The entire experience was a pleasure and our mantle looks so much more interesting. Keep up the good work!
