Veleco Model Faster
Have used one of these for the past 6 months. I'm pleased to say that bar a few minor niggles, the experience has been extremely pleasurable. The faster 15MPH option is a godsend when in traffic. Avoid car drivers getting exasperated by being stuck behind slow scooter and you're their friend an not a thorn in their side.
The scooter itself is well built, reliable and looks good. It would have earned the full 5 stars were it not for a few minor niggles. I suggest that these shortcomings are due to the designers being able-bodied and not taking account of the degraded functions of the disabled. These are those minor drawbacks:
1: Engaging parking brake - This not only requires the use of both hands, having to reach over with your right hand right over to the left brake lever, but it also requires a fairly strong grip with your left which has to pull back the brake lever. The designers should take note of the parking brake arrangements on other mobility scooters.
2: The USB socket which is a very useful extra to have is located far too low, requiring most elderly user having to actually kneel on the ground in order to even see the USB slot before inserting the USB plug. I have overcome this shortcoming by attaching a short USB extension lead to bring the USB socket to a more manageable height.
3: The beeping noise when you've activated the turn signal is difficult to hear in traffic. Designers have to appreciate that the level of sound you can hear inside a car is insufficient out in the open surrounded by traffic noise.
Other than these small niggles, I love using the scooter.

ZT16 Veleco mobility scooter
We have had this scooter for a month now and are really pleased with it, It allows me to join my wife when walking the dogs - wish I’d had one years ago. Enjoyed going on the Monsal trail in Derbyshire on it had a wonderful time. Lots of positive comments whilst out and about. I am a retired engineering inspector and can’t fault it. Highly recommended

I have just received my four wheeled…
I have just received my four wheeled scooter with lithium battery from Veleco. The experience from the time I placed my order to the time the engineer left is certainly worth five stars. The engineer arrived spot on time, was very polite and couldn't do enough to ensure I fully understood the controls. He adjusted everything to my satisfaction and I am so pleased with the scooter, it certainly has plenty of power so no worries about climbing hills where I live in Cumbria. I would recommend this scooter and company to anyone.
