Veleco Mobility Scooters Trading under Lunex Technology Limited - Shefford SG17 5HQ

The earlier situation that was the cause of my highly critical review of this company, although somewhat belatedly, has happily been resolved and a letter of apology for the distress caused been received.

Insofar as the mobility scooter itself is concerned, it has proven to be reliable and has given excellent service. Were it not for a few minor niggles, the machine would have obtained the full five star rating. These niggles comprise the following:-

a- The suspension could be a great deal softer and more forgiving. As it is, the rider feels every minor irregularity in the road surface
b- The USB port provided is a welcome and very useful addition but is located too far down for easy access.
c- Instead of proper back and forth seat adjustment, this is achieved by the backrest getting shifted forward or back which results in reduction of the seat area.
d- The parking break, although extremely efficient, is awkward to operate, requiring the left hand fully applying the rear break lever, whilst the sitter reaches over with his right to operate the awkwardly placed engaging pin. Not the best solution of the old and infirmed.
e- The footrest area could be wider to provide a comfortable stance.

On the credit side:-

a- The machine is extremely efficient. giving decent mileage between charges.
b- It had proved to be 100% reliable
c- The faster 15mph is a positive boon. Although the law requires a top speed of no more than 8mph, full use can be made of the higher speed off the road and public highway.
d- The large, spacious secondary storage area under the seat is a major plus point when it comes to shopping.

Scooter was delivered in superb condition by Damian, who also provided detailed information about the machine and it's use. It is remarkably well finished and very attractive in candy red. The scooter is very quick and manouverable. It is also quiet and comfortable. I can find no fault with it Many thanks to Damian and Velobike for everything.

Krzysztof delivered my VELECO ZT16 exactly the time he said he would and took the time to explain the scooter and answer any questions I asked. He was vey polite and nothing was too much for him to do. He never rushed the delivery and made me feel confident with the VELECO policy on first class products. It looks better than I though and looks a lot more expensive than it was. I’m highly delighted with both the service and the scooter. Build quality is second to none. I’m sure it will make you smile every time you use it and make you feel confident when out & about on it
