Don't be duped as my 83yr old mother has been - this is complete scam. Dreadful rip-off product and contrary to all their alleged terms, they do not accept returns. Will be reporting them asap.

NOT IMPRESSED !! Their website contains information which is not true. Their shoes do NOT have any orthopaedic arches, they do NOT accept returns, they do NOT provide customer service, they send out wrong sizes. Do not buy from this company - you won't get value for money! Fortunately I used Paypal for my purchases, who have refunded my money as they received no reply from Veriva on investigating my complaint.

One star too much. Dreadful company DO NOT BUY FROM THEM my shoes are too small and they refuse to take them back citing ‘hygiene’ reasons in spite of offering free returns on their website. This is a scam

Do not buy from them! They promise 30 day satisfaction guarantee or money back, 24 hour customer service - none of it is true. Shoes were too big and I was not satisfied with the quality, so requested a refund. Bearing in mind their whole website is about shoes, their response was 'for hygiene reasons we can't refund' ??!!! After this response, communication from their side seized and my requests for refund, to confirm return address, etc were ignored. I have raised this with my bank who were excellent. Will report this to trading standards, as others have mentioned in their reviews. They are clearly breaching basic UK consumer rights and all the info on their website is wrongful advertising. Also: the products are of low quality and cheap looking. Do not buy from them!

Don't believe the 30 day refund policy. I ordered UK size 7.5 and equivalent size 9.5 arrived. The shoes were poor quality and not 'orthopedic'. They will not exchange for 'hygiene' reasons. DO NOT ORDER SHOES from this company. As per all the other reviews I wish I had read Trustpilot prior to purchase. I am going via my building society Nationwide to get my money back.

They are a scam and be very careful. Don't believe what you read on their webpage. They send the shoes (which are very poor quality and nothing like advertised) but you cannot return them as they then say, that for hygiene reasons, they cannot accept returns! Also the items come from China so returns would be costly even if they accepted them. They put a London address to fool you into thinking they are based in London. Please don't get scammed like we did! I am going to report them to Trading Standards.

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. DO NOT BUY shoes from VERIVA. They do not accept returns despite saying they do, they will not accept signed for returns and they do not give a 30 day guarantee. The shoes are poorly made, ill fitting and are certainly not orthopaedic as claimed in their ad! YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY, DO NOT BUY.

One star is too many for this rogue company. As other buyers have said, I wish I’d read the reviews before purchasing. I’ve looked again at their website which promises the earth including 24/7 customer service and 30 day money back on returns. None of this happened. I sent numerous emails but received nothing in return. Their shoes are poor quality, expensive and if in the sale, they don’t refund sale items.

A scam do not buy from them. They refused to accept returns at all! despite their published claims on their site providing 'free returns..' I finally raised issue with my payment merchant PayPal who thankfully refunded in my favour - as seller refused to respond. Veriva do not provide a complaints procedure and can dodge our UK based Ombudsman support because their Terms & Conditions are aligned with the United Emirates. They know how to play the game. Beware.

Very poor customer service. The first shoes fitted well, but have no orthopaedic effect such as they advertise. The second pair (sandals) ordered at the same size, are far bigger than the shoes, and do not fit me at all. They refuse to accept returns or exchanges, and will not honour their 30-day refund, which is supposed to provide peace of mind. Do not use this company!

I ordered 3prs in a half size bigger than my usual, as per the company's online recommendation. However, it turns out I needed a full size bigger. When I asked for an exchange I was told that "For hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges".
As the shoes are made of such soft leather, I thought they might stretch. Instead, the inner soles have come away. Their response? To invite me to buy another pair whose price I could try to have refunded by entering a competition!!!!
What a novel practice.
This policy of returns and exchange needs to be made much clearer. Had I been aware of it, I would not have ordered three pairs.
My confidence in the company has, sadly, plummeted.

Do not buy from this company. The shoes I ordered took a long time to arrive. I never wore them as they didn’t fit. I read the refund policy on their website which said nothing about not returning shoes. I have now been told that they don’t accept returned shoes ‘for hygiene reasons’!

I wish I had read all the reviews before i purchased a pair of shoes from Veriva. It's a similar story to many below, the shoes were the wrong size, and Veriva won't honour their 30 day return policy. I too will never use this company ever, ever again. I can't recommend them.

These shoes are not as advertised.
The shoes took a while to arrive, I ordered the orange colour, however, when they arrived I had two different colour shoes and the pattern on the top is different, so basically I have odd shoes. I only intend to use them as slippers so will keep them.
I have a high instep and need support under my arches, these shoes are NOT supportive, on the advert they show how the support straightens your ankles, this does not happen, so not good for wearing as a shoe.

Don't use this company. They won't honour their 30 day satisfaction guarantee. Shoes took a long time to arrive, were clearly not orthopaedic and very narrow. Refused to give me any returns information, saying they would not take shoes back 'due to hygiene'. I didn't even get as far as trying the shoes on so requested return again under their 'guarantee'. No response.

The shoes i received were too small and narrow, also poor quality. I requested details to return items as no information was received on delivery and their website states 30 day return no quibble guarantee. The reply I received was that I could not return due to hygiene reasons.
Fortunately I paid through paypal and after starting a claim and waiting a month I received a full refund.
Do not use this company.

Taken in by their advert and website, ordered shoes took nearly 3weeks to receive , when I did get them, shoddy poor quality. Absolutely no info with them, despite the 30 day back refund promise.
I did get a reply which as others say won't accept because of "hygiene" reasons, what a load of piffle, UGG, CLARKS will accept returns for either replacements of refund.
The rest of my emails have been ignored, I contacted PayPal who I used to pay, and even they have not had a reply.
Yes like some others I feel I have been scammed.

The shoes I received were nowhere near the size they were supposed to be. They were so small that I could not even try them on.
I contacted the company to arrange to return them for a refund, but was told that they cannot be returned for “hygiene reasons”.
This is contrary to their 30-day money-back guarantee. There are items listed that are exempt from this guarantee, but shoes are NOT in that list.
Please do not be fooled into giving your money to this company. It is an absolute scam.

Don’t Buy From This Company - I wish I’d seen the other reviews. 2 pairs of shoes badly made inconstant sizing and much too small for my size 6. Told that they do not accept returns ‘for hygiene reasons’ despite their claims of a 30 day free trial. I have copied Refubd Act details to their customer service but it seems I may have lost my money AVOID THIS COMPANY

Wish I had read reviews. They promise refund and then refuse. Size runs very small, no arch support as promised. Totally waste of money
