I purchased a pair of shoes which arrived but were the wrong size, too big. Also the shoes did not match the photo, very cheap and shoddy. I have repeatedly asked for a smaller size and how to send back the others, all the responses from Veriva totally ignore my request and just plump for me to buy more with a so called discount code. Absolutely dreadful. I have been scammed do not use this company. I now have to try and retrieve my funds.

Total scam. Wrong size arrived wouldn't exchange "for hygiene reasons". Refused to refund or communicate further. Total crooks. Happy to support a class action.

I would not give this company even one star. Like so many reviewers have said, this is a scam from a disreputable company. Having received a refusal for returning the goods which were of a totally unacceptable quality, I contacted my card provider and received a refund from them. Obviously Veriva is continuing to trade but at least I received a refund.

As with the other reviews with just one exception, this is a bogus and rogue company. I bought two pairs of shoes after checking the sizes with customer services and they are too small, badly shaped and of extremely poor quality. Despite the 30 day no quibble returns policy the message back said no returns possible so I have opened a dispute via PayPal. They are not answering my messages. I will return the shoes at my expense within the 30 day period, and continue to press for a full refund. Class legal action may be required. Shameful behaviour.

Just wish I had looked on Trustpilot before I ordered off this company. I have been scammed like many others. "Shoes" not fit for purpose VERY small and very bad quality. The company ignored my emails, I returned shoes, but they were sent back to me ! PayPal have been great and refunded my money £39.99. I am still taking it further, they shouldn't be able to get away with this 🤬🤬

As with others, I have been scammed. Shoes appalling, refund refused. I will pursue with my credit card company but it’s so depressing that these people can continue to operate…..

Veriva Shoes. Appalling product. Appalling company. Appalling customer service - which means no service. Shoes are shoddy and not as shown. There is a stitch line across the front which is missing from product photo. Don't touch this company. Its a disgrace that they are permitted to trade online. They should be banned. Devious, untrustworthy and totally cheap and nasty product. Buyers beware !!!

Do not buy from this company. I was sent the wrong size weeks after ordering. They replaced them with a shoddy pair stitched at the edges with scratchy thread which would make my feet sore. Now they say
For hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges.
That means you can't try a shoe on or complain. I've photographed their London return address. The building looks locked down and shut.

If there were no stars that would be my option. This is truly the worst company I have ever dealt with. I bought one pair of orthopaedic shoes. They are comfortable not attractive so I wear them in the house. I ordered their walking shoes (in the same size) but they are far too wide. I wrote asking to return them or swap them for something else. I received a standard message stating that for reasons of hygiene they don’t accept returns. I have since written three times and once via PayPal. I keep receiving a computer generated response saying no returns. Sadly I already had ordered a third pair of different shoes before I realised that they don’t accept returns. This is not legal in the U.K. Their website clearly states that it’s risk free purchasing. Their returns policy states that perishable items are not returnable. There is no mention of hygiene when buying. I have not even tried both shoes on. I tried one with a sock. They are in the same condition as they arrived. Poor packaging. I would have packed them better for the return. NEVER buy from these people.

Thay say money back 100%.etc. but they give you nothing, they say free return. They don't give it.
Any problem, forget it you get nothing back. Shies we git did not fit. They would not take them back.

Appalling- once you receive the shoes if they don’t fit they refuse exchange or refund. Currently a dispute with my bank who are pursuing it. Do not use.

BEWARE I ordered these shoes, at the last minute the price appeared to be reduced. To my surprise I had ordered two pairs the same- which is daft. Immediately I sent an email explaining and asked for one pair in a different colour. I was then Informed that this was not possible after the order had been placed. On receipt I opened one pair to try on and realised that they are too short. Again a prompt email was sent asking to return the shoes for an exchange or refund. Many emails have gone to the company which stated 30 day money back guarantee.
They are as a company not following accepted practices as laid down by trading standards.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered a pair of size 6 shoes. Tracking system worked and they arrived as scheduled. The good news ended. They were too small, so I emailed explaining and asked for the details to return for refund. They state they have a return policy. I received a reply as follows:
Quote ‘ Hello, Thank you for your message. for hygiene reasons we do not accept returns or exchanges. Thank you for your understanding. Sincerely, Customer service.’ Unquote.

I could hardly believe what I read and the reason given!!!!! They clearly DON’T have a returns policy.
I must make it clear, I had not worn them, just tried them on and realised they were just too small.
I just wish I had read the trustpilot reviews before purchasing. Something I will ensure to do in the future.
I will now donate the shoes to the local shoe bank or charity shop.
They seem to be a company with a very strange vision of ‘customer service’ and no morals whatsoever. Disgusted.

This company acts fraudulently and refuses to pay refunds on returned goods. DO NOT USE THEM. I returned my shoes in the original packaging by tracked first class postal service and sent several emails which went unanswered. Eventually I got a short reply saying goods could not be returned for hygiene reasons. This is clearly again the law so I sought advice from my credit card company which came to my assistance. But I am £10 out of pocket, the cost of tracked mail service. It is a Chinese company so the goods take a long time to arrive and are not the quality advertised. The smell of glue was so strong that it brought on an asthma attack.

Very dodgy company . What ever they are saying on their website is not true. My advise to everyone please please stay away from Veriva or prepare yourself for anger and disappointment

Wish I had read the reviews more carefully before purchasing from this scam company. The shoes arrived in packaging without a receipt, packing slip, or any return address. The website promises free refunds or exchange but there is no explanation for how to do this and I see now that others did not get their refund. The shoes are much too small, very basic, and without any logos, trademarks, or indication of the company. It appears that despite their claims, refunds do not happen.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY I returned a pair recently because they were terrible quality, and after initially refusing to refund me at all (despite the promise of a 30-day return period) they have now offered me the chance to "win" my refund by making a new purchase! They now have my money and my returned shoes. In over 20 years of shopping online I have never come across anything so outrageous as a chance to "win" a refund. I plan to complain to Trading Standards and the consumer ombudsman.

After reading the reviews I had totally written off the money I had spent and ever wearing the shoes .
They arrived 2 weeks after ordering and I laughed to myself saying these will be going straight to the charity shop.
However they fit really well and are very comfortable—-so I can’t complain.

THESE ARE CON ARTISTS Veriva I ordered three pairs of shoes and received an email which was sent at 04.46 (which I had not initially noticed) on the May 20th to say they'd been despatched with a tracking number for YUNexpress. I clicked on the link for tracking and it was evidently a phishing site asking for just £1 card details and initially to track the parcel but would then take £24.99 per month so I did not do that and reported it to ActionFraud. But then on next day 21st May, I received an email from trackerly.net encouraging me to click on the yun express link again. I looked at the reviews as my suspicions were raised and cancelled the order. Veriva responded on the 31st of MAY 10 days later saying the order was "processed" and I could not modify or cancel it. I responded on 3rd Jun asking where the parcel was but my email was returned as they had blocked my email! Meantime I contacted PayPal to say I had cancelled the order and requested a refund as the order was not delivered despite saying they had a 14 day delivery time and explained I did not want to have further contact with Veriva but they directed me to write to Veriva which I did on the paypal site but heard nothing. The order arrived on 7th June breaking their delivery promise and apart form one pair, the quality is appallingly bad. One pair of orange leather shoes OrthoBounce™ orthopaedic shoes with dimpled sole is reasonably good quality and a perfect fit. but white slip on OrthoWalk™ orthopaedic shoes and a pair of black OrthoSummer™ orthopaedic flip-flops × 1 are terrible bad quality inflexible and have dangerously slippery sloes despite that the description on the white shoes states "NON SLIP The rubber soles ensure good grip and greater safety" This is a false claim and someone relying on this feature would be iat high risk of slipping. Instead of rubber the sole is made from inflexible lightweight plastic. I've seen the reviews that say they won't take the shoes back. I am contacting my local trading standards officer tomorrow as these are very definitely mis described and not fit for purpose. The reviews on their actual website are obviously fraudulent.

Shoes were too small but when I e-mailed for a return address the reply stated that doe to hygiene reasons they do not accept returns or exchanges.
Seems the they have blocked my e-mails now so no way to get in contact.
