I bought a pair of shoes online from Veriva. They have a 30 day money back guarantee. I tried the shoe, wearing my knee highs as the shoes are unlined and soft so to try one has to wear a sock, or at least I had to wear my ‘knee-high-stockings’
The shoes are far too small.
Now I’m told I cannot return them due to hygiene reasons?
This is not good. I’m stuck with shoes I can’t wear.
So what do they mean with a 30- trial period ?
I had already seen the show in their advertisement online , so I know what my goods would look like.
Trying on shoes and find they ate too small, that, in my opinion is what trial period means.

Don’t buy! Scam!
I’m sure they are in the wrong- legally.

Disgraceful but again should have checked here first. Same thing happened I asked for an exchange have received the same reply " due to hygiene reasons ... "
Why aren't these places closed down!

I ordered 2 pairs different styles and both too wide - my feet are not narrow.
Apparently they do not do returns.
What a waste of my money! They will be going to the charity shop and hopefully someone will benefit.

Scam - Bad company will not refund, lie that you can order different sizes and then email unable to refund due to hygiene. Should not be allowed to trade and will not provide number for customer service. They are supposed to give a 30 day money back guarantee!

Now that I have read other reviews I realise that ordering these shoes was a huge error. They arrived and were so small I could not get my foot in. I had the same email response when I queried a return/exchange that others report i.e.: "for hygiene reasons no returns or exchanges". I have requested the 30 day money back guarantee, but I'm not holding my breath! I will always check Trust Pilot in future. Lesson learned.

No stars would be my rating too. I also wish I had checked out the reviews for Veriva. They advertise - a 30-day risk-free trial. If you're not satisfied, we'll give you a full refund’ but when you request one they respond with
‘For hygiene reasons, we do not accept exchanges or refunds.

I would give this company no stars. I bought a pair of shoes from Veriva. They did not fit so I contacted them by email to ask for a refund and a returns address. I got an email saying for hygiene reasons they do not accept refunds, and 'have a nice day'!! What do they think we do with shoes bought online that don't fit?? I have never had a problem with other shoe companies accepting refunds for online purchases.

Like other customers, I wish I'd read these Trustpilot reviews before I put in my order with Veriva. They are a SCAM. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Despite stating they accept returns up to 30 days for receiving goods, there is no means of returning any goods. There is no paperwork sent with the order, no address as to where returns can be sent. When eventually I received acknowledgement of my request to find out how I could return the shoes, they said they did NOT accept returns for hygenic reasons.

Absolute scam company. Address they have for comms isn't their address - they don't exist there. It's a very odd scam, but one nonetheless. Received weird shoes - smelly and small. Tried to return them, but the parcel was "refused" and returned by Royal Mail, and no communication via the only email address they supply - they also never respond on social media.

I've had to go through the fraud team at Santander to get my money back.

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes and originally found the customer team helpful. They took 2 weeks to arrive and looked good quality but they did not fit so I wanted to return them unused. I emailed the company, used their contact form and messaged on Face Book to ask about refunds but got no reply. Their refund policy says you have to return them within 30 days from the order so I sent them to the address in London in line with their refunds policy and well within 30 days. I spent £9.95 for special delivery as I was suspicious that the delay in replying was intentional so that my return was longer than 30 days. I then received the parcel back with the address scribbled out! I will seek a credit from my credit card provider. Don't buy from this company.

A SCAM, web site complete lies. Shoes rubish, no paperwok to return, no reply to emails. AVOID

This company deserves no stars. The shoes did not fit nor were they good quality. No answer to my emails. I sent the shoes back in accordance with their refunds policy to the address given. Apparently the company was dissolved last October according to Gov.uk. I then received my returns package unopened 5 days after posting to the given company address with RTS scrawled across it. So they have boomeranged back to me. However, another email arrived yesterday offering to give me my refund IF I place another order!! This seems to me at best unethical, at worst theft. Avoid this 'company'.

The shoes arrived but my daughter doesn't feel they help so I want to return them. No reponse from the customer service email address despite 3 emails. I will try for a refund from the credit card company as it seems the only way. I wish I hadn't bothered with them.

I have sent an email a week ago requesting a refund but have received no reply or acknowledgement.

I wish i could give them no stars. My item was delivered to the wrong address i searched for it. The courier company said it was there fault and have told them so. I have asked for a refund but they never answer any emails. I would never buy from this company

Wish I’d read the reviews first an absolute con. They should not be allowed to advertise and carry on ripping people off! I would prefer a 0 star option.

The shoes have just arrived and they smell really badly…. It’s the material they’ve made the soles with. Smells something like petrol…. Some kind chemical. I’ve got them out in the air in the garden as this would make a horrible type chemical smell indoors. Equally they are on the small side in terms of size …. It is a small size 5. Yes it is wide fitting. I am sorry I bought these and from the reviews it looks like they won’t do returns. I feel this is a fake company and I’ve been scammed. Silly me to fall for their advertising, i give it minus 0 star. Above I had to give it one. Don’t buy…. There’s something fishy goin on here I think.

Their website says "30 day money back guarantee." This is a lie. Their website says "24/7 customer support." This is also a lie. There is NO customer support. The email they provide is never answered.

If you buy a pair of their orthopaedic shoes, you will probably receive them -- but if they are the wrong size or otherwise unsuitable, you will not be able to return them.
