Car booked in on 13th October for a 3 day repair at value of 3k. Told a courtesy car would be provided it was not. No updates for 10 days and had to take a day off work to sit there in person to be told the parts are on back order. Then spoke to a "manager" who said the car would be ready in 2 days as the part has arrived. I had to go and pay for the courtesy car myself at a local provider as they refused to provide one which JLR Leeds authorised because they had not paid their bills. No update for over a week. They have had the car for 5 weeks this week and have unplugged my tracker. I actually do not know where my car is. Insurance are aware and extremely concerned about the vehicle and advised to report it to the police if I have not seen my vehicle which I have not. No calls backs, no updates and no idea whether work is completed ot not. I don't want this passed to the management as I have already dealt with them and not happy with the response. Will be reporting the matter to the Ombusdman and taking further action on this issue. 5 weeks they have had my car!!!
Test drive on Monday collected on Friday , excellent professional service from the lovely jessica leech - highly recommend- thank you

I decided to give Vertu my business and purchased a 7 nth old jaguar f pace for 45k .I was promised that a couple of stone chips would be repaired . When I had paid my cash I collected the car to find that no repairs had been done . Arrangements were made for a mobile technician to call at my home who carried out a shoddy repair and said to do it properly would need the bonnet re spraying . Shortly after I noticed a brake judder . I drove 40 miles to Vertu Leeds to have the brakes checked and waited 3 hours to be told that all brake discs were warped. The car has only done 12k miles . I have only done 2k since buying the car. I was told it was a warranty issue and would contact me in a couple of days . No one rang me back or contacted me . I rang in a daily basis and was ignored . 5 weeks later after raising a complaint I am told by service manager who has apparently left the branch that jaguar will not pay for the parts under warranty but because the car is nearly new with very little mileage that sales would foot the bill. After ringing numerous times again I am now told that the cost to repair the brakes is £1800 But Vertu will kindly do it at half price . The discs and brakes were not obviously checked . The company and the way I have been treated is an absolute disgrace .

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a car from Vertu Jaguar Leeds and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff, especially Ikram went above and beyond to assist me in finding the perfect vehicle that met my needs and budget.
Throughout the entire process, Ikram demonstrated exceptional professionalism and expertise. He patiently answered all my questions, provided valuable insights, and made the entire car-buying process a breeze. I truly felt like a valued customer.
What stood out the most was their commitment to customer satisfaction. Ikram ensured that I got the best possible deal and even helped with financing options that suited my situation. The attention to detail and personalised service were impressive.
The car I purchased is stunning, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. I highly recommend Ikram at Vertu Jaguar Leeds to anyone in search of a new vehicle. Their dedication to providing excellent service sets them apart, and I'm grateful for the wonderful experience I had.
Thank you again

Jess in JLR 2nd hand sales was great from start to finish. Seamless transaction without any hassel. Thank you!

Purchased a Jaguar recently and have to say, the experience was somewhat better than other main dealers.
The response to test drive was quick and arranged without delay. The sales person was informative and answered my questions with ease.
The sitting in a showroom for hours waiting to do the deal simply doesn’t happen. Indeed there is an opportunity to purchase extras but no hard sell, and no means just that.
I am not only happy with my purchase, but content I was treated as a human without the usual one way sales tactics.
Well done!

Vertu JLR Leeds. Abysmal customer service. Empty promises and excuses. Took my Discovery Sport for an MOT at 9:00 am. By 10:30 the work was completed but failed due to a damaged tyre. For the next three and half hours I tried to speak to someone about replacing the tyre. The excuses were 1. No one available 2.Short staffed 3. At lunch (for 2 hours) 4. In a meeting 5. Parts department went to answerphone 6. Call diverted to Newcastle 7.Still in a meeting It’s now 3:00 pm and I’m still sat in reception waiting for my car which apparently has been ready since 10:30 am. Beyond a joke!!

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received from the Jaguar repair center. I brought my car in for repair over three weeks ago and have had to call every day for an update. Each time, I was passed around from person to person, with no real progress being made. Finally, I received an email stating that my vehicle was ready for collection and went to pick it up this afternoon.
To my dismay, as soon as I started the car, the engine management light came on. I immediately went back inside the repair center and was informed that it was just a sensor issue that needed to be ordered. They apologized for wasting my time and assured me that they would prioritize my car once the sensor arrived.
However, my frustration doesn't end there. Upon arriving home and parking the car on my driveway, I noticed that it was leaking oil. This is completely unacceptable, especially after being told that a new employee had been working on my car. Why wasn't this issue caught by an experienced mechanic?
I have already filed a complaint with the service manager and I am eager to see how they will address this situation. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I hope that they take my complaint seriously and rectify the issues with my car promptly.

Great customer service from arriving on a Sunday as a walk in to having my vehicle ready to pick up on the Wednesday. The company representative (Jess) was “Outstanding”(5*) in her service and attention to detail. Nothing was too much hassle. Correspondence was quick and I was kept up to date as progress was ongoing. My journey was made easier by train and I was picked up at the Train Station. Great service.
Would highly recommend this company and Jess as a Sales Executive. She is a credit to the Company. Well done.

I recently travelled from Newcastle to buy my new car from Vertu Jaguar Land Rover Leeds.
I dealt with Jess from enquiring and reserving the car all the way to purchasing and collecting the car. The communication and knowledge from Jess was amazing I was regularly updated about the car and any questions I asked were answered quickly. I was also given good descriptions and deals on warranties etc. on the car.
Everything from the enquiry to the purchase and handover experience of the car was made smooth and easy as a customer due to the communication and organization from Jess.
It was 100% worth the travel from Newcastle to buy a car from Vertu Jaguar Land Rover Leeds and I would recommend this dealer to anyone considering buying a new car.
Love my new car and cannot thank Jess enough.

Car advertised on Autotrader and their own website with 965 miles on the vehicle.
Before I can speak to the dealer I have to be interrogated by Vertu head office...
"what attracted you to the ipace" and other unnecessary questions
Once I speak to the dealer, the car is materially different to the one advertised. c. 10,000 miles different!!!
I receive a follow up phone call from Vertu head office asking how my experience was.
When I explained what had happened I was told
"We have no control over what appears on Autotrader" REALLY!!!!!!!!

I used to work at Vertu landrover. And I can honestly say that it’s probs the worst place to work in. Head off business Rick shield don’t give a crap about any off the staff. And specially the service manager Paul Mcullen. He don’t know how to manage the service team at all hence is why they all want to leave. He was my manager too and from the day he started he was horrendous. Hardly ever spoke to us. We didn’t feel confident enough to speak to him about anything as he never was interested in what we had to say.
I recently Purchased a used Jaguar XF from Jaguar Leeds Branch. Firstly I would say thaty I was a bit sceptical at first about buying a used Jaguar from Jaguar but was plesantly surprised. Ranbir was my contact there and extermly helpful from the start. He was not pushy and arrnaged for me to recieve a video of the car as I was purchasing it online. We agreed a price for my old Jaguar over the phone. They arranged for it to be delivered. Ranbir kept in contact and got back immediately if I had any questions about the sale . When the car arrived it was better than I had thought and everything Ranbir had said. I was also surprised when I was told I had a 12 month warranty witht the vehicle . The after sales was exceptinal Ranbir rang me to see if I was happy with the vehicle and again a week later .I was also contacted by the manager again enquiring if Im was happy and had any questions about the vehicle and was told not to hesitate if I had any concerns. I would recommend Leeds Jagaur and have no doubts about purchasing from them again.l

I don’t often write reviews, only when something is exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. In this case it is the latter and concerns Vertu Jaguar Leeds. We bought an iPace Jaguar from them in early February 23. We asked to pick it up on our way to Cambridge and the salesperson was concerned that they would not be able to confirm finance in the 4h that we could spare in our journey. They didn’t actually move very fast but finance was approved well before our 2pm deadline and we thought we would be on our way. OH NO! They then had to check the car and undertake a repair to what they said was a “starter” motor? Why this had not been done before was a question they avoided. We eventually left about 4pm and had to drive in the dark which at 75 years is not so easy. The one bright note was the Land Rover sales manager who, seeing that we were getting very annoyed, came to sit with us and offered overnight accommodation in a premier travel lodge. We declined because we were carrying frozen goods.
When we traded in our old iPace we were careful to point out that there was a minor damage on the boot lid. We had refused all the expensive extras such as the lifetime (ha ha) polish etc. and so we’re doing it ourselves. On polishing the leather seats we found a 4 cm tear in the back seat that had been rather obviously and crudely repaired. None of the people we talked to at Leeds had thought it necessary to mention this damage even though we were buying a top of the range ex demo HSE black! We had asked the salesman if there were any issues with the car and he replied. “No”
Next we noticed the car we traded in was advertised for sale on autotrader. But the pictures showed it carrying our private registration that we had removed to a retention certificate prior to trading in the car and replaced with the original registration. Leeds had taken our private reg from pictures that we sent them to provide a trade in value and made up new plates, replacing the plates that were registered with DVLA. Why they did this we still don’t understand. Had they driven the car on the public highway it would have been a felony!
We complained twice about the seat damage and the unwarranted use of our private reg and received an email apology. By way of recompense since they were of no use to Leeds we asked if we could have the plates they had made using our private reg.The apology said yes and offered their specialist to repair the seat damage. We sent a picture of the damage asking if the specialist thought he could improve the repair since we live on the other side of the country from Leeds. Neither the plates nor any response from the specialist has been received after 8 weeks. When a sales manager called to ask if everything was ok we said we had had no response but nothing happened.
Clearly when Vertu state on their website “To deliver an outstanding customer motoring experience through honesty and trust” it means nothing as does the apology they sent.
If you must deal with these people inspect every inch of the car you are buying, disregard anything they say and expect no assistance or communication once you have given them your money.
Waited several weeks after their very quick response to my negative review, but no one has made the promised contact. So the quick response is again nothing more than empty words designed to give prospective customers a false impression that Vertu care and are rectifying their appalling customer service. When more than 30% of customers give a 1 star review it speaks for itself.

I recently purchased my new car from Vertu Land Rover in Leeds, the full experience from start to finish was excellent.
Sam Keenan was a pleasure to deal with, from the initial enquiry about the car Sam made me feel at ease. Sam sent over a personalised video of the car within 30 minutes and answered any questions and queries I had efficiently. He went out his way to keep me updated with the preparation of the car and made me feel well looked after throughout the whole process, even picking me up from the train station.
Very professional and a genuine guy who is an asset to the company.
I won’t hesitate to contact Sam when I’m looking for my next car.

Matthew Withers is a top salesman!!
We originally were not wanting to buy a Range rover as initially we were looking to purchase a Jaguar. Matthew made us aware of any changes etc and always kept us informed every step of the way. He managed to convince us to buy a range rover Evoque and we are glad he did! The vehicle is smooth and we are so happy Matthew was the one to hand over and help us from start to finish. His professionalism and enthusiasm really does shine through his work and he is an asset to the company. If anyone is looking to purchase a vehicle from these guys, i'd highly recommend Matthew to be the one who helps and deals with you! We will definitely stay within the company and I'd recommend his service to everyone! Matthew really is great at what he does and I hope his hard work is acknowledged. Thank you for all your help Matthew! Keep doing what you are doing!!

Please note I have updated this complaint as I had missed out some of the key issues at the start which are now included.
I initially contacted Vertu Jaguar Leeds on Friday 16th of December at approximately 9.15am and enquired about the purchase of F Type Jaguar YB21 TBR. I gave all my details including details of my part exchange and was told that someone would call me back within an hour with more details and a valuation for my part exchange vehicle. Two hours passed and I had not received a call, so I again rang Vertu Jaguar Leeds, to be told that Ranbir was dealing with my enquiry, however he was busy at the moment and would call me back, another hour passed, so I again rang Vertu and asked to speak to a Manager and I was put through to Tom, who aplogised that Ranbir had not rung me back and then asked for all my details all over again including my part exchange, despite me already giving all this information when I first contacted Vertu. We agreed a deal and then he said he would pass me back over to the elusive Ranbir. I then received some paperwork from Ranbir and my DOB was wrong and my address was incomplete. In the meantime I received another call from Tahir asking me for my correct address and to confirm my DOB. I told Tahir that I had already supplied Ranbir with the correct information and for some reason he has passed wrong and incomplete information onto his colleagues. I told Tahir that if he wanted the correct information to speak to Ranbir as he already had all the correct information.
I purchased an F type from Jaguar Northampton in October 2022 and the service I received from the Salesman Dale Iniff was exceptional. However I decided to trade the F type 380 in as I felt it was too powerul and decided to go for the F type 300 at Vertu Jaguar Leeds. Dale Iniff was fantastic, he even personally delivered the car set up my mobile phone in the car, he set up jaguar remote, he gave me a personal demonstration of how everything worked and couldn't do enough for me start to finish extremely professional and polite. Unfortunately Vertu Jaguar Leeds did none of these things and the Service I received at Jaguar Leeds left a lot to be desired as it was error after error, unprofessional and at times down right rude. When I received the original documentation from Ranbir for the purchase of the 300 F type, my address was incomplete and my date of birth was wrong. I complained to Tom who told me to stop getting worked up, not his place to tell me what I should and shouldn't be doing and really not the sort of comments that should be made to a customer. Over the next few days and before receiving the car I received a flood of emails and texts from Ranbir asking me to confirm various documentation. However on checking this it was the same documentation relating to the Sale that was being sent for approval over and over again. All very confusing as I must of been sent the bill of Sale 5 or 6 times and other documentation likewise. Ranbir would send me the documentation then ask me to enter a pin but it was the same documentation over and over again. Ranbir took great pride in his video showing me how shiny and clean the car was in the Leeds showroom but when it was delivered, it was filthy. OK it was a dreadful day weather wise but surely the driver should off been instructed to take it through a car wash before delivery. When I received the car, late afternoon on Thursday, I discovered that the rear number plate was hanging off. I telephoned Ranbir and he told me to get it fixed !!!!.
I told him I was unwell as I had a bad bout of Flu and wasn't prepared to drive around looking for somebody to fix it two days before Christmas as most garages were now closed for the Christmas period. I then asked if he could send someone out to fix the number plate to which he replied "No". The driver who was delivering the car then commented that he would not accept a car that had cost £48000 and the number plate was hanging off and he would take it back. Then the driver suggested to Ranbir that he would take it to a local garage to get the number plate fixed. Thank goodness for the Driver coming up with a solution as Ranbir was no help whatsover.
