Temu upgrades
Bought a car with advertised AMG upgrades, didn’t receive the upgrades and instead received parts from I can only presume is Temu. After highlighting the issue I was told I could have £500 towards a new set of wheels… Which would buy me another set of wheels from Temu. Winning 🏆
Zero communication over 6 months, lacklustre resolutions, zero car knowledge. They made various promises on the phone but seemed to face plant at the first hurdle.
If I could give zero stars I would, if you purchase a vehicle from them pray that there are no issues as your only hope will be from the Motor Ombudsman.

Good Experience Buying New Renault Clio
Never thought I would have to buy a new car remotely without even trying it out, but after having our 2014 Clio written off by someone who thought brakes were optional, well, here I am. Decided we wanted another Clio as we never had a major problem with our original, and like the way it handles. Found this Clio using Carwow, and decided it was what we were after. Marcus was extremely helpful and arranged for it to be delivered to us.

Picked up my daughters mobility car today from renault vertu york and from start of process to pick up Jessica Bright the motorbility rep has gone above and beyond with her service . Always kept in touch through email and no problem was an issuie i want to thank jess again for her help .

Matt H. was fantastic, a real asset to the organisation. Overall a great service, great communication throughout. Marcus guided me through it all and although he wasn’t there on the day to hand the keys over I was greeted by the lovely Katie who was also very helpful. Big thumbs up to Vertu Motors York. Highly recommended.

caution pressure sales
It’s a while since a car dealer tried to sell me something I didn’t need but here we are again
I took my wife’s 2 year old car in for a service to be told it needed two tyres and a brake fluid change and possible tracking
The two tyres in question had 2.8 mm at worst nearly perfectly evenly worn across both tyres with a tiny bit of wear on the inside edge, when I asked if they was illegal and did they really need changing urgently the answer was no
When I asked if the brake fluid was a warranty issue I was told no it was caused by moisture in the air
I run a 16year old Renault master as well and I’ve owned it 10years and the brake fluid is fine and just passed an mot with no advisory’s
So again I asked is it dangerous or likely to fail the answer was no
Then a lady mention it would be changed for free on the next service
I just wonder if this was an old couple if they would have just gone ahead and had all the work done for no real reason
