i was kept informed throughout and allowed to test drive twice in demonstrator cars before collecting the new car. All the paperwork was efficiently handled and basic information surrounding driving the car provided upon which I can build as I fully familiarise with the car's systems.

We received a very friendly and professional service from initial contact right up until the car was ready for collection. Highly recommend.

The handover of our new car went very smoothly and didn't take very long

When we started at looking at a new car we decided to set defined requirements (we referred to the process as "letting the car choose us"). Comfort, ease of entry, exit and boot size. We also set a budget. The first viewings we made were aimed at judging these basic factors. We didn't want a sales pitch, just access to the vehicles. Vertu seemed to understand this and left us to it. We were asked a couple of times if we needed help but when we said 'no' the sales people backed off. Eventually we decided to go with Vertu Loughborough and found them to be good listeners and communicative. There was no hard sell and we got exactly what we wanted. A genuinely pleasant experience.

All personnel in sales have been very professional. I see that Vertu is a very big company with many garages and makes. This review applies to the Toyota garage in Loughborough. My thanks go to Eloise Hand and her colleagues, who guided me through the process of making this purchase remotely, answering all my questions and arranging delivery. The car arrived this week, and I'm very pleased.

I'm the sort of person who researches all purchases - even small ones - so you can imagine I was careful about my choice. First of all - the car. I needed a hybrid estate... few on the market, and the Toyota Corolla Touring seemed to offer the best compromise of price, size and reliability (I'd have preferred a slightly larger car, but none were hybrids). Then, the price - online research showed various Toyota garages offering a discount... there was one which was only half the distance away, but the reviews were terrible. The Loughborough garage generally scored well, so I contacted them.
I don't think the garage was used to someone like me, buying at a distance - but I'd test driven a hybrid Corolla locally and liked it (the local garage never offered a discount)... and the order took ages as there was a 5 or 6 month wait between ordering and delivery, as Toyota weren't manufacturing the model until September. At least, that gave me time to pepper Eloise with questions by email, which were clearly answered. On rare occasions if I wasn't clear, we spoke on the 'phone. She also sent me a couple of videos.

So - whatever the general performance of Vertu across all its garages, I can certainly recommend very highly the Toyota Loughborough operation. My special thanks to Eloise, but also to her colleagues who stepped in when she was out of office.
