Only ordered a car as they assured that it would be available quickly (after I explained my situation) and I was told I'd be supplied with a courtesy car if there was any problems, windscreen was broken so it was delayed as they had to fix that before it was ready, said I couldn't have a courtesy car so I've been left in limbo with my disabled son without a car, I was promised a phonecall back today but not heard anything, wouldn't answer my call so I was left with no alternative but to cancel my order, I won't be strung along with empty promises. Totally unprofessional and disappointing! What a waste of time.

Popped in and spoke to a salesman. I asked specifically about the lack of spare tyre and the puncture repair kit. I was told: 1. You can't change a tyre on a motorway anyway 2. We cannot sell you a spare even 3. People prefer the repair kit.
He said the car had the highest reliability. However, I didn't get the answer to why so many people are experiencing the car not starting eg when parking up for a week.
Well I must be odd because I don't prefer it and I wasn't taken in by the drivel he was talking. Sorry I the car, I don't like the puncture repair kit and have concerns about the car starting if I don't keep it running and I certainly wouldn't buy it from this shady guy anyway.
Toyota Loughborough seem to have gone down the pan in a big way

I dropped my car off here on 30th May 2024 for a routine interim service on my Toyota. It all started off well, I arrived at 8am to drop my car off, they had a courtesy car ready, we went over the current damages to the courtesy car so there were no surprises - all good (damaged bumper and wing mirror).
I got a phone call around lunchtime saying my car was 'a major safety concern'... this alarmed me as my car had passed it's MOT 3 weeks prior! - They said to me my car would fail it's MOT because a tyre was 3mm tread depth and a window wiper had a crack in it. I challenged them regarding this, a crack in a wiper is an advisory (already on MOT 3 weeks prior) and the minimal depth of a tyre is 1.6mm... again 3mm is perfectly fine. This kind of scare tactic and language used could make people part with their cash for issues that aren't actually issues, when I challenged them on this they backed down and told me it then wouldn't fail it's MOT and they just wanted to let me know... (why the change in tone?).
I then returned at 5pm to collect my car and hand back the courtesy car... I was accused of damaging the bumper... remember what I wrote earlier that It was noted in the morning, yep, they didn't believe me and told me I would need to pay. I challenged them on this too... they then went to their manager and checked the paperwork, turns out it was already there and for me not to worry. Again, If I hadn't of challenged them on this, I would've had to pay.
Shady scare tactics to try an extract more cash from you, Toyota owners beware!!!
Regards,
Clark

Collected a new C-HR from the Leicester Dealership whilst their showroom was being renovated. The handover was performed in their busy car park, outside porta cabins, with the car having suffered a large dent to the o/s front door panel. Our sales person, who was excellent, arranged for us to take the car to the Vertu Toyota Loughborough dealership bodyshop for repair. Not only did they do a professional and invisible repair but Chris Shaw, their Assistant Sales Manager, arranged for the car to be properly handed over in their showroom, under a presentation cover and fully valeted. Well done Vertu Toyota Loughborough.

I had somebody run into my rear bumper, on a brand new car. Vertu stressed, new car so new bumper. And that’s what you’d expect. But on collection, they’d had a different discussion, as apparently they were waiting on parts. So on that note, decided to repair it. Ok yes, it looks as new again. But it’s the principle of it. Don’t tell your customer one thing, and then do the opposite. So quite disappointed on collection of the car.

Very long boring story but basically someone crashed into me in February my car didn't get fixed till last week( mid June) and I honestly believe if it wasn't for Ellie at Vertu Loughborough I would still be waiting and no closer to getting my car repaired. Ellie went out of her way and above and beyond to help me and find out what was going on. My insurance and car rental company didn't care or try to find out the root of all the miscommunication but luckily Ellie did. I honestly cannot praise her enough it had been a total disaster until Ellie got involved. We were so impressed with Ellie we decided to get the car MOT there too and my husband said everyone at Vertu in Loughborough was amazing, fantastic customer service all round. So even tho we live in Stapleford we will be going to Vertu in Loughborough from now on. Highly recommended A+

Purchased a Toyota Aygo online and the whole transaction was smooth and stress free. The salesman I dealt with, Paul Breffit was very professional in his dealings with me and was truthful in his description of the car. He even sent me a walk round video of the car before I decided to buy. The car was delivered on time on the day and was as described. A follow up phone call by Paul to make sure I was happy with the car was appreciated.

It's unacceptable that no one is able to answer a phone at a small-ish local garage and the phone - even using a local number - is directed to a national call centre or wherever. Loughborough Toyota was once an unusually good garage but now:
- poor phone service
- no longer a free courtesy car
- no longer a free valet
- six months delay on buying a new car
- zero selection of ex-demo models
