We went down to look at our options of a new car and we were met by Ryan
He was brilliant from stary to finish nothing was to much trouble.
Ryan took us through a few different options and we chose our new car. On the day of pick up everything was explained he took us through the controls of the car and set it up for us.

Second time coming at vertu VW South
Second time coming at vertu VW South. Matt was the person who helped to get the best VW model that we wanted. We did not make his life easier but he was super patient and he was super polite and very understanding of our needs when trying to find a replacement for the old one. Staff overall is friendly and they take care of you that’s why I came back, even though I do live a bit further now. Thanks VW!

Purchased Several Cars - Service Standards
I have purchased numerous used and new VW’s from this dealership since 2008 and I’m sorry to report my last service was a nightmare from start to finish. I booked in weeks before and was lied to and kept waiting for over an hour and forty five minutes extra over the time I was told at the desk they were bringing it round. Be assured it was a simple service (nothing wrong at all!) I’m pondering driving all the way to Leicester for my service this year as the level of empathy/concern from the staff who knew I was waiting was dreadful (they don’t care one bit). I was polite and friendly at all times - will I buy another car from here (not unless they sort out the service centre I’d get better service at ATS)

My mum and I popped into this branch, VW Nottingham South on our way home after looking around various other used car dealers in the area for an Audi A1. We were greeted by Josh Barnes, the used car salesman, who had excellent knowledge and expertise, especially on the basis that we showed up with no prior warning. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and explained everything inside the car to me. I booked in a test drive and he even offered to let me test drive a VW Polo to make sure I was happy with my decision. He answered all our questions and put together a great offer on the car which led to us making the purchase. Josh made us feel comfortable and was very friendly right from the beginning - always making sure we had lots of hot chocolate too! He is a credit to the store - ask for Josh if you're looking for used cars, you won't be disappointed!

Great service buying a second hand car
My daughter and I had been looking for her first car. We had been to several other local dealers and even though we had booked an appointment the salesmen we met knew little about the cars we test drove. I think I told them more about the car than they knew. We came to this branch VW SOUTH NOTTS on the way home just on a whim and took a look at a car we had seen advertised. We were met by Josh Barnes the used car salesman. To say we had called in on a whim we were impressed as he appeared to know quite a lot about the vehicle we were interested in. A subsequent test drive was organised and we went on to purchase the vehicle. I think the way Josh dealt with our enquiry went a long way to help us to decide to purchase the vehicle. He had lots of knowledge of the make of vehicle even though it wasn’t a VW. So enough said thank you for your excellent service Josh. (And hot chocolate!)

Very poor service
I rang to ask for help about updating the SATNAV maps database in my car. I was told there would be a charge of £135 for this. When I asked if I could supply the part (because I can get it for £60), I was told the dealership would not take responsibility if the update did not work and would also charge £168 for a diagnostic check to make sure this was the correct course of action. I am still waiting for a call back from the Parts Dept, after two weeks. Nobody answers the phone. Also, waiting for a call back from the Service Dept. I asked if I could lodge a complaint; I was put through to another number. Nobody answered.
