I delivered the car with more fuel and even then they charged 31 euros service fee as if I didn’t. The employee at the return point was the rudest person they could have hired. Never again from this company.

Been standing in front of Bergamo…
Been standing in front of Bergamo airport with a very difficult employee, first I am asking if he knows Vipcars (Brooker who sold me the rental), he says it has nothing to do with his company, ok so I leave to look everywhere. Reading the (very) small print, I realised Viaggiare is the indeed the correct vendor, I came back in a hurry now! The guy tells I have an attitude and he does ‘not want to rent me a car!!’ It’s now 11:17 he serves another client, then declares he cannot deal with me… This person has nothing to do in customer service!
Advise for VIPcars: make it much clearer (big letters) which rental desk to go to
Advice for Viaggiare: train your front desk team, customers arriving in morning from UK have woken up at 4am or earlier, they should be treated with respect and decency. I am well travelled, 30 years + of doing trips for business, no need to be lectured and abused. My tone was normal just this person was unprofessional and a bit vain .
I can only say that I eventually got my car thanks to a lovely man (name Julio, the boss it seems) about 1 hour 30 later!
There was absolutely no need for all this fuss

The car should be fully fueled and have tires appropriate to the season, in winter in the mountains it is difficult and dangerous to drive on summer tires, you add snow chains that do not match the tire size, the car should correspond to the reservation I made and it is not about the car model but about the size .

This company should be banned
This company should be banned. On August 4th, 2023, we landed at Bergamo airport. Regrettably, we encountered an extremely rude and unhelpful employee at the airport. Despite having a pre-booked car for our arrival, the staff member processed our booking in a very unfriendly manner. Moreover, when it came to paying the deposit, the employee refused to accept a debit card unless we agreed to purchase their optional insurance policy (which is not mandatory). We attempted to use a pre-paid credit card as well as two other types of credit cards, all of which explicitly stated that they were accepted, but the employee still refused to accept them. Their offices are filled with queues of frustrated individuals who have made the common error of using visa for online payments, only to be denied the option of using the same card in person at the offices. In order to secure the car rental with a debit card, they impose an additional charge of 200 euros, refusing to accept any lower amount. We returned the car in impeccable condition and today, six months later, I received a standing order for 61 euros without reason!

come da nostri Termini e Condizioni da lei sottoscritti al momento della prenotazione, qualora venisse riscontrato un danno al rientro del veicolo, verrà addebitato l'importo corrispondente all'entità del danno. Può verificare il corrispondente importo all’interno della nostra Tabella Danni presente nel contratto di noleggio stipulato o all’interno del nostro sito.
Come riportato all’art.11 “Responsabilità del Cliente in caso di sinistro, furto e danni ed opzioni di riduzione della responsabilità nei confronti del Locatore” all’interno dei nostri termini e condizioni, “Ove la qualificazione e quantificazione non fosse possibile attraverso la tabella danni, il Locatore addebiterà l’importo preventivato da una delle carrozzerie partner o in base alla valutazione del danno effettuata da una società peritale certificata, previa comunicazione al Cliente”.
