Great car, service and price

The car was not left full like the contract said and no one felt responsible to change the contract or make a refund. The documentation that was supposed to be sent via e-mail at pick-up and return also did not arrive.

When I first arrived the shop shutter was closed but once your staff come back from a toilet break he did everything exceptional and much appreciated

Very bad agency, very high price and no quality on their services. I rent a car for 10 days in Italy from Bergamo airport. It took one hour to make the papers. Even if I made the reservation 2 months before I receive another car and not the one that I want, the Kasko insurance has a double price Vs the other agencies from the airport, they lock 250 euro for the petrol, it's to much for a car that has a tank of 35 liters, the competitors Take you only 100. I need some information from them, I write 3 email in 3 days and no answer. Some of their mails was deactivated. No quality for this agency and their services. This is the first time and last time with them. I recommend gold car or Europe car, they are very good and have decent prices for my experience.

This company is not to be trusted, time taken at Bergamo airport to get seen to was over an hour. Be wary of signing contracts in Italian on an ipad, it comes back to haunt you.
collected a dirty car on 11 Sept '23 from a representative who said find it from the reg no on the key fob and didnt even come with us - returned it in good condition on 14th at 4.00 am - key deposited in the office letter box at the airport, Next day an invoice in excess of 400 euro for 'damage'. when asked eventually got an obscure photo - of supposed damage to the ROOF - they have not provided and clear photo to date - dispute now current thru credit card company, however they are producing a copy of the ipad signature! Do not trust them

Don't go near this company,, very poor quality car, in bad condition and now today 5 months after I returned the car they charged my card ? I'm disputing the charge with my bank , outrageous for a business to scam customers bank details.

ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL customer service. We arrived at Bergamo airport at 9am 14/10/23 The man working in Bergamo airport was extremely rude and unhelpful. We had pre booked a car for our arrival, we were met with a very unfriendly manner whilst processing our booking, he then refused to accept a debit card for the deposit unless we took his own insurance policy (this is not compulsory) he then refused a pre paid credit card, and 2 other types of credit card, all stated that they were accepted. He then made comments about how stupid we were and made a racist comment about us being English. We were then left with no choice but to leave the airport without the car (all others were fully booked). AVOID this company, they just want to rip you off and treat you like an idiot.

Despite having made the reservation several months in advance through VIP CARS, the car supplier (VIAGGIARE/Bergamo Airport) did not give us the reserved car despite having them in the "Rental cars" parking lot and being present at the time. that other users handed over the keys to the used car.
The treatment received was unpleasant and did not offer us any solution. We had to rent another car, from another company, for a price 4 times higher than the one agreed with VIP CARS and pay the comprehensive insurance again. We will present a document to claim damages.

Sham of a company, anyone working for them should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves, especially the people who’s entire job it is to respond to negative reviews on here by providing excuses and claiming they will investigate.

Rented a car from them on 16/9, drove it to Tuscany and the car broke down. Spent 2 days of my holiday sorting roadside assistance. When I requested a replacement they advised I could come to Bergamo (3 hours away) to have a replacement. When asked how I would get there, there was an awkward pause and they said I would have to figure it out on my own dime. How can you actually live with yourself that your company DOES NOTHING to help a stranded tourist with young children. I was actually crying on the phone and the responses were nothing. When you book to rent a car with a company you put your trust in them. They have no car delivery service either. They’re actual gangsters, and it’s not a good look for a tourist’s impression of Italy, so they’re doing their own country a disservice. Not to mention, when we picked up the car we were conned by the “fine print” that if we payed with our card which didn’t fall into their accepted cards, insurance would be 300eur. They will respond back on here that it is in their T’s and C’s but the terms and conditions only say that if you don’t use “x” card you will pay an additional cost BUT there is no specification of what that cost is until you’re at the desk. We had to pay it. Looking back, wish we had booked with Hertz, Avis, or Europcar. They get you in with a cheap rental rate, slam you with an extra cost when you’re weary and have no other options, then fail on every front when one of the worst scenarios happens to their customers. Save yourself the horrid experience, we have spent multiple days sorting this issue with no apology or understanding from this company especially given they GAVE US A FAULTY CAR.

They let me in the night without a car which I paid an an advance.
I called and emailed them and had no answer! Maybe I could prepare a backup plan.
The second day I went there and they ware very unpolite and rude.
They asked me for 60Euros to cancel the order!!!!
The price online was 80-90 Euros and they asked for 260...
They did called me after 3 days AFTER the event asking money for a service that I didn't get !!!

Very good service provided very happy with the return process and overall service.

I ordered a Kia Sportage and received an Opel Mokka.

Boot size of the car received v car ordered 350litres v 591litres. These are not the same category.

How anyone who knows anything about cars can put these two in the same category is a joke.

It’s time car hire companies were regulated properly they are allowed to get away with too much.

The guy on the desk was useless too. Really poor customer service.
