Viaggiare Rent - Olbia Reviews 

After we arrived at the airport we were a bit confused as to where the building was because we booked over Green Motion which cooperate with Viaggiare. We had a car pick up appointment at 2 and we collected the car at 3. Signing the contract went smoothly and with no confusion. We got a faulty car and we showed it to the office and they replaced it with a new one immediately. The car was perfect. The drop off was even better than the pick up, it was even quicker. Thank you guys.

Stay away from this rental!

I had reserved our car for 17:00. As my flight was a little late, I didn't get to the rental office until 18:15.
After I gave my name, I was told that the booking was automatically canceled and that they no longer had a car for me and that I should look for a car with another rental company.

To cancel the booking at an !!!AIRPORT!!! (where delays are common) after one hour is absolutely outrageous!

When I asked if they could help me, I was immediately blocked and ignored. The staff at the airport are extremely unfriendly and not at all helpful.

In the end, I was able to get a new car from another rental company at 10 o'clock in the evening.

We received a car in perfect condition and enjoyed a friendly and cheerful service. We appreciate your patience and kindness.

I was happy with my car rent in July 2024, staff was nice and car was in a good condition and without problems!

The service was easy not over selling any other stuff you dont need. the staff were lovely. car was clean and ready to collect. the only thing is waiting to collect your car, it is outside in the open with very little shade and it got very hot, as there were other customers waiting.
maybe some shade or seating would help

We rented a car with Viaggiare Rent through the VIP Cars website last week and it was the worst experience. The treatment we received was the most dry that a person can give.

According to the car rental service staff, we arrived later and lost our reservation, although my friends and I explained that we arrive late due to an issue with the airline. We inquired about the money and the staff informed us in a rude way that they will not return it and could not help us with anything else. We asked if there was another car to rent since it was late (around 10pm), but the answer was no and suggest us go to with another company.
Finally, we had to take a taxi to arrive at our hotel and return to a different rental car company the next day that eventually resolved the problem for us.

If you're seeking a positive experience, avoid renting from VIP Cars as they don't manage anything, and neither does Viaggiare Rent.

Ich habe ihren Customerservice unter ihrer e-mail-Adresse mehrmals kontaktiert. Per e-mail, per WhatsApp in Deutsch und in Englisch!!!!
Die Kollegen haben alle Unterlagen mehrmals erhalten. Unsere Stellungnahme und Fotos nach der Fahrzeugabgabe (ohne Kratzer!).
Die Buchungsnummer ist bekannt (7458570 -E070FBE). Außerdem Beispiele von verschiedenen Bewertungsportalen über ähnliche Kommentare.
Es hat sich aber niemand dazu gemeldet.
Bin gespannt, ob jetzt irgend eine Rückmeldung vom Customer Service kommt....?

her answer, her standard comment, is a joke!!
I have contacted their customer service "customercareXviaggiaresrl.it" several times. By e-mail, by WhatsApp in German and in English!!!
The colleagues have received all the documents several times. Our statement and photos after returning the vehicle (without scratches!).
The booking number is known (7458570 -E070FBE). In addition, examples from various review portals about similar comments.
But no one has come forward about it.
I'm curious if there is any feedback from Customer Service now....?

The company cancels already paid bookings in case of flight delays and you don't get your money back.
You can book again, and pay twice.
You guys are really good in fooling people! 💪👍🏻

Staff very helpful but massively overworked. System slow and lengthy. Speed up the online process and sort out the manpower.

This was a HORRENDOUS and APPALLING experience. From start to finish. We arrived at 8pm only to be told that our car reservation was for 9pm and they wouldn’t “open the reservation” until 9pm. So even though there was nobody there, even though our car was ready and waiting, we just had to waste one hour waiting. We were given a car in the dark (therefore unable to check for any faults) and with only a little over half a tank.

Upon returning the car, we had to wait. All other car rentals have someone to pick up the car. Not here. You wait in line along with the people who are renting cars - who cares that we had a plane to catch!

And finally, when checking the car, the woman claimed there were a couple of scratches UNDER the bumper. And charged us 30 euros for it. I never hit or went over a curb. No manager on site to speak to. All in all they were rude, not helpful and we will never rent from them again.

Don’t rent a car at Viaggiare because it looks cheap and in reality it isn’t. They only want your money and they do anything to keep you responsible for any scratch, even it was already scratched at the pick up. We saw people making pictures for 15 minutes from the car they received and we laughed about it, but now we know why!

We had a reservation via Discovercars.com and it was with full coverage and a free 2nd driver. We came there to pick up the car at 08:40 but our booking/reservation was from 09:00 and they did not want to help is before 09:00, which is strange in my opinion.. but okay. 2nd thing, I used at Discovercars the creditcard from my wife and noticed myself at 1th driver. Not possible and they must change the 1th driver into the person from the creditcard. Okay.. €40 extra!… then they told me that we have to pay extra for a 2nd driver but on my reservation via Discovercars.com was written that a 2nd driver is for free. He probably tried to catch some more money from us with no luck because I get angry and also after I showed him the reservation from Discovercars, he agreed.

3fh. He told us that if we bring back the car with damage(s) we directly have to pay it at Viaggiare and have to do the refund with Discovercars.com, while we had a reservation via Discovercars.. also very weird isn’t it? So normally when something should happen with the car then Viaggiare had to deal directly with Discovercars…

Then we get the keys from a new Fiat Panda which was good, but with some slight scratches on the front bumper and I told the guy from Viaggiare and he said, it is nothing, don’t worry about that but I made pictures from the whole car from every side and when we returned the car, the woman from the reception came with us for an inspection and directly opened the back to look at where the extra wheel normally is placed and asked us if we used any tools for changing a wheel because aomething was missing… OMG! And I directly told het that when we get to the gasstation for the first time we noticed that the fuelcap was missing and she said that this is normal for a Fiat Panda but at the gasstation I saw another Panda with a fuelcap so.. hmm strange.

She asked if we had pictures from date/time pick up to check if we have pictures from the cratches and luckily we had, orherwise I think they charges us money for it..

She said all okay and we left but I told my wife to check her creditcard the coming period. Also if they pay back the €500 deposit.

I wish we had never rent a car at Viaggiare but we already paid it. I think not only a single tourist wanted to go on holiday and experience things like this. You want on holiday and don’t want to think about things like this.

I have an urgent recommandation. Go please rent your car somewhere else and pay a bit more and don’t have to worry about a cratch.

2 hours waiting. The workers try their best. Just insufficient for what they offer and money they want to do.

Be careful with these cowboys and take pictures carefully of the car for every scratch as they will try to rip you off if you don’t purchase their insurance. At pick up they tried to take me €500 deposit instead of €250 on the voucher I’ve had.
Nobody was able to check the car at drop off it was a big queue outside and I dopped the keys, took video of the car with no damages and left to catch my flight. After one hour the staff texted me to tell me that there is a scratch. I exited the terminal and told the lady that texted me that I come back to check the car. She lied to me that the car was picked up by other person but when I arrived the car was exactly in the same place. The car had a slight scratch on the mirror that was barely visible and was not present on my video when I dropped the car. Very poor service don’t use this company.
UPDATE
They tried to take money from the debit card I’ve used to pay without my permission. Be careful and block your card after paying to these thieves.

They confused our reservation, took additional money although the car was already paid for. They were not friendly

My family felt ,some body take care of us and massive relief after delayed fly.

First time using this company, from Olbia airport a bit strange to find the office but we we're helped through the phone, pick up was easy and fast, car was ok, cleaned, helped us with a light so we can record any existing damages on the car , for the drop off it was busy lots of people in the queue to pick up, but we went inside and explained we need to drop off and they helped us first, 5 minute check for the car and was easy and fast, will use again thanks
