Viaggiare Rent - Verona Reviews 

The pickup process went OK, however, the provided car was much smaller, than I expected. The cargo volume of Skoda Karoq is far larger, than Peugeout 2008.
The dropoff procedure was abysmal. The agent was rude and went directly to the carpet of the driver seat and said that "the car is dirty". The carpet was a bit wet and had a drop of grain from our boots in rainy day, I cannot imagine, that it called "a dirty car". It's a company duty to vacuum the machine after the use, We did not eat, drink and smoke inside the car. The seats and all interior were sterile. This claim cost us a hefty 25 EUROs. Seem it's a policy of the company - to rob as much as possible. The other reviews show the same practice regarding the "cleanliness" of the car. I won't recommend this company to anyone.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this rental company. They claimed there was damage to the bumper and sent me a PDF of photos, but no further communication followed. When I requested the photos in a different format and provided the damage list (which they had signed and updated to reflect the condition at the time of rental), they proceeded to charge me Euro 250 (£210.82 with an additional £6.21 bank charge for non-sterling transaction) without any prior notice. I only discovered this unauthorized charge when checking my credit card statement today.

What makes this situation even worse is that five points of damage were missing from their initial damage report, which I had meticulously updated. I also have a photo of the bumper prior to rental, showing the damage (although it’s somewhat blurred due to the poor lighting in the pick-up garage).

This has been an incredibly frustrating and unpleasant experience. I will be contacting my credit card company tomorrow to dispute the charge. I strongly advise others to avoid this company at all costs.

The two young men spoke very good english and were very friendly and helpful. Good car aswell.

Verona airport, the office was closed, we knock on the shutters as we heard someone was there, no reply, next morning returned, they had sold our rental. Guy kept changing his story, then offered a car for £465 for 3 days, what a rip off!!! Don't use them. Europcar came to rescue, over £200 cheaper,

Complete scam. I paid £500 for a car and my flight from Gatwick was delayed by 4 hours. I called the company but they conveniently said they didn’t speak English!! When I arrived to pick up the car they said, your too late. No car and no refund. No email or website to contact them with either. DoYouItaly were useless in helping me too. Don’t ever use this company!!

A new and luxurious car, kind, patient and pleasant service, excellent price!

Our flight was delayed, office was closed upon our arrival. Returned the following morning to collect the car. Cancelled and no F×××s given.
No customer care. Absolutely awful. Do not use this company!
As a frequent user previously, they have lost regular bookings!

At pickup the staff informed us we needed to return the inside of the cars as clean as when we picked it up. At return we were charged for a dirty exterior which was normal road dust. This was not mentioned at pickup but in terms and conditions. The issue I have is this has never been a rental condition with other companies - charges are for excessive dirt not normal usage - so I feel this should have been mentioned prominently in the sales process so I could have chosen another company. An hour cleaning 2 car interiors in intense heat on holiday and a fee on return isn't my idea of fun.

Complete lack of customer service at Viaggiare desk at Verona Airport.
Long unneccessary delays while returning the car at the airport. Lack of information provided when collecting the car - change in rental conditions since i last rented, 3 months earlier. Very poor attitude of the staff member who was rude and unhelpful and showed no sign or effort to provide even basic customer service. I will not rent a vehicle from this provider again. i travel to Verona at least 3/4 times per year and my family do likewise - i have advised them not to use this company for their car rental.

Tire pressure light came on and had the pressure checked on all tires. Air was put in by petrol attendant and I paid for that.
No windshield washer fluid - bone dry and in the Alps, windshield was dirty from the rain. I had to pay to have that put in.
I was not told that the return in Venice was off terminal. Instead, I had a little piece of paper stapled to the contract. I happen to see look at it a few days before returning the vehicle. Parking lot P6 and if the sign says FULL hit the intercom button. That did not work. I went to a different machine and finally got an attended to open the darn gate to let me into that over burdened parking lot. I had to drive around for some time before I was able to find the Viaggiare lot. NO SIGNAGE TO POINT THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
After parking and returning the keys, the employee spoke NO ENGLISH!!!!!! I had to speak with an employee in the terminal to state my experience and money paid for the inefficiency of your staff. I had to walk 1/2 mile to the terminal and go up the Prima Piano and look for the Viaggiare desk. I then had to fill out a claim form. I believe the employee's name was Angela (?) The car did not has a regular USB port and it is a good think I had a round plug to attach to my GPS and phone! Piece of crap Toyota Camry car.
A very horrible experience in all and I would caution anyone wanted to rent from your company. I will also write on review on Trustpilot and anywhere else I can find to help people way away from your company for their piece of mind and not wasting time with Viaggiare Rental. TERRIBLE . You can't pay me to take one of your cars again.

The renting process was easy, staff was very polite and helpfull.

Everything was fine. No long waiting clue. Personal information has to be filled out by hand again at the collection of the car. Contact was friendly. return of the car was also possible outside the opening hour by a key box.
The parking lot handling was a little bit confusing. If you leave the parking lot you take a parking ticket, this one you will need to leave the airport area. To return the car, you also take a parking ticket to enter the airport area and you need this parking ticket again to access the return parking lot. Some information in advance would be great.
