The cars should be washed and the interior cleaned. We had dirty windows on the interior. The car interior had traces of sunscreen. Carpets and trunk had sand nothing that a little attention to detail can’t fix.

They canceled our car hire with no refund as we were delayed by 1 hour and didn't give them 24 hours notice ... dont use this company they have 1 star on tripadviser

I hired a car based on these trustpilot reviews but I wish I had checked Google! They took money with no explanation and haven't returned any messages or emails.

There were good personals and good service. The agent Davida was professional and she answered all our questions.

Scam!!!!! We had a reservation, our flight got delayed by one hour and when we came to take the car they said they have no car. We got no previous notice, and we were on a flight so we had no opportunity to even know or notify about the delay. We got stuck in Rome with no other alternative! The man at the reception was so rude, we have never had such an unpleasant experience in Europe ever before.

Terrible company!!!!! We ordered a car and the flight was an hour late and they told us they had given the car to someone else, we tried to explain the situation to them and there was no response, they just said there was nothing they could do. So DONT trust them!!!

Renting a car via Viaggiare ren was very good experience. Pick up was easy, just a bit surprise for me was a self check-in when I got the key and I should make a video of the car by myself and send it to the phone number via WhatsApp. A bit difficult at 11pm with lack of street lights. 🙂 The car (Citroen C3) was almost new with parking cam, modern infotainment. The drop off process very easy and smooth. The staff checked the car - now personally - and got me sign the protocol in his mobile app. The only strange moment was to spend 20 mins. by finding the dropp off parking lot as we delivered the car on another location then we have collected. If you will do it similarly, please ask for precise location when check-in.

We booked 3 rental cars in Palermo, but received only one. The vouchers with the numbers 91615314 and 25995946 (Dr. Schmidt) could not be redeemed because evidently no cars were available. We were offered much smaller cars at three times the price. After intense discussions, we left without the two cars and then had to rent 2 cars in the airport building at a relatively high price.
I have never been treated so rudely and incompetently. One can only warn everyone about this car rental company.

The car was good. The pick up and drop off was easy.

Ordered a car via Autoeurope for collection at 1500 hours Verona airport.

The flight was delayed by 2.5 hours, and this was completely beyond my control due to bad weather and air traffic control restrictions.

Upon arrival I met the attendant who seemed disinterested from the outset. He was watching some kind of rap video on his phone.

I asked to pick my car up and he shrugged his shoulders stating that as I was an hour late, I was a 'No show' and the car hire had been cancelled. The attendant offered little more assistance but did confirm the car was still there, but he wouldn’t release it too me.

He advised that I could rebook with him directly at a cost of around £450, 3 times the original price I had paid.

Autoeurope were also little help (Separate review to follow), the customer service advisor was abrupt but eventually did agree the situation was a farce and on a personal level she agreed with me.

Another couple had the same problem and yet again the attendant was unhelpful and rude.

This is a clear scam, Autoeurope take the initial payment then the local company, happy that you arrive late grift you by charging extortionate late booking prices.

I am taking this issue up with my credit card provider as Autoeurope have offered little assistance following a formal complaint.

I hired a car from Hertz for around £450, even if Viaggiare offered me a car for £300 I would not have taken it based on the attitude and lack of respect provided by their staff member. I would avoid this firm at all costs and go with a worldwide brand. I have used Autoeurope on 14 occasions and never had an issue, but loyalty counts for nothing, they have also lost a customer.

Save your time with a generic response. The delay was beyond my control and your staff need a lesson on customer service.

My experience with this company was very good. I got a nicer car than originally booked. Check-in and checkout was very smooth (because I had full coverage included in the car price). I got my deposit released after one week. The car was impeccable ( because it was new under 10000km mileage).

I've rented a 9-seater van, in great condition, with a helpful staff, with a good price. But the car was not ready at the booked time, and I had to wait over an hour to get it.

FCO office refused to provide a car against a confirmed reservation

It was a good experience renting the car. I was met at the airport and then transported to their office. The car was in a really good shape. Returning the car was super easy as well. Will definitely use their services again when in Sicily.

I didn´t get the car I booked and they only had ONE option (I wanted an italian car and not a french one for my holiday). Otherwise everything perfect, good service.
