hi, Never rent a car with Viaggiare Rent A Car, if you do not have intention to buy Car Insurance with them!!
Even if you have your own car insurance -- they will get you to claim the smaller chip, underneath the car bumper from your insurance co.

the stress when they give you upon returning your car is such scary!! Especially, Viaggiare -Tirana Center. Imagine you got a flight to catch, and you need to spend good quality time going thru those little check, chips or paintwork under the bumper. it is extreme!! first time, i am facing this in my more than 10yrs of car renting experience!!

Rental given to someone else because 15 minutes late. No refund

We had a booking at 1pm in Rome airport and we were late arriving at 2:15pm. Because we were more then 1 hour late they told us our car had been given to someone else and it wasn’t refundable, they cited policy that you have to arrive within 1 hour of booking time. I seriously doubt they sold the rental to someone else in that 15 minutes I think it’s more likely a ploy to extract cash from people who don’t understand the t&cs fine print. Awful experience and customer service didn’t care at all.

We got a nice car. Any prior damages were marked on the documents. Fast and fair return. Service in english. Overall a pleasent experience.

My flight was delayed 3 hours, therefore my original company(not viaggiare) cancelled my booking, Viaggiare provided me with a last minute car, the helpdesk were very information and welcoming. The car was very easy to find from the shuttle bus.

Delivery was very easy and my deposit was released free of charge after 7 days - highly recommend.

Great experience, car available and efficient and deal with a lovely lady at arrival and drop off. Car was available within 15 mins of arriving and drop off really quick as we dropped off the car and had a shuttle to the airport in super quick time. Would definitely recommend to others

We booked through AutoEurope, because second driver was for free.
We picked up at night, 22:30, so we couldn't really see all scratches the car had, definitely more than documented, and it was not fully tanked like the contract said.
But when returning, it was no problem, and there was no complaint.
Baby seat was not secure and not easy to handle, but maybe it is okay like that in Italy.

Giuseppe is a very nice representative. Helped us great, was very patient and kind and gave us recommendations.

I booked car through doyouitaly website. It showed really good price and i paid deposit so į rented a car in Viaggiare. When I arrived to airport car rental said, because I want to use debit not credit card my price would be double. But I had no chose so I agreed to pay. Car was OK. When I returned it, I got a cleaning fee - 25 eur. They send me pictures where they said, tat the car was dirty . I really didn't expected that I had to vacuum rental car before returning it. Especially under the carpets as it was shown in photos. Their claim was - car must be returned in the same condition as when it was received. Be aware that if you don't want to pay extra 25 eur, you will have to vacuum and wash car :)

Had a real shock to find the Viaggiare desk closed when we arrived at Bergamo airport at around 5pm. After about 10 minutes of panic the guy arrived to open the desk but there should have been a sign left saying 'back in 10 minutes'. Everything went smoothly after that

Like last year, the experience with Viaggiare was a very pleasant one, a professional team, everything was explained perfectly and what was offered to us, we received, without hidden clauses and extra payments, from me, like last year, you have 5 stars, thank you for everything.

Good company to deal with - no problems

Quick and smooth check-in and check-out, with very friendly staff. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a bigger and better car than we booked. Adding a second driver was cheaper directly at the desk compared to the broker, which was a nice bonus.
The team was very flexible and kindly allowed us to adjust our return time for free within the 4-day limit, since our host changed the check-out time. Communication was excellent—quick responses to calls, and all information and advice were explained clearly.
Overall, a great experience with excellent customer service. Highly recommend!
