My experience has been excellent, bought a Daytona from them, it needed a slight adjustment and they’ve dealt with it swiftly, politely and have been really accommodating the whole way through. I’ll buy again from them based on this. Excellent. Thankyou to you all.

Avoid like the plague.

I bought a vintage 1958 Rolex Explorer from this company in or around August / September of last year. I wish I'd done my homework and found their reviews on trust pilot sooner.

When I received the watch it would run for a bit then stop then start again for a bit and then stop.

I was offered to send it back to be looked at but I lost trust in them. I doubt they would have given it a costly full service and return it if they were going to sell the watch in this condition in the first place.

I sent the watch to be fully serviced. The man who serviced it is well known and highly regarded for his work. He told me it was in terrible internal condition and most of the parts had to be replaced which cost a small fortune. I believe this company sell their watches just with the hope that they run without doing any due diligence or care before selling.

But looking back, even when I bought it online, the customer service was terrible. Short, sharp, not very customer caring in the slightest.

Also, they do not inform you about the vintage rolexes if their dials have been refinished or not so you will have to enquire yourself if this is the case. I assumed my dial was original but no. That was my mistake.

Terrible customer service.

Booked an appointment to view two Rolex watches seen on the website and was shocked at how terrible the customer service was. No effort given in giving information on the watches and when we asked what sizes the two watches were to remind ourselves, we were told to look them up on the website! For the amount of money we were prepared to spend (granted only £8k) I would have expected a little more effort and better more friendly customer service.

My new submariner arrived this morning from the Watch Company as promised no problems great to deal with. I would definitely use them again. Mike CP.

Dodgy company

Dodgy company! They had 3 watches for sale that were stolen from me a couple of months earlier. I called to confirm availability, all three were available. When the police payed them a visit, suddenly all my watches were already sold.

Avoid at all cost if you don't want to end up buying stolen stuff!

First class company

I saw some unpleasant reviews on the Watch Centre and want to balance these with my experience.
I received excellent, attentive professional and polite service from Bini. I fulfilled a lifetime ambition to own a Rolex and I'm delighted with my purchase and have no hesitation in recommending The Watch Centre to others

Watch centre is a waste of time

I contacted WC in regards selling two watches, one of them a 2021 unworn Milgauss, still with protection film in place. I sent photos. The quote was between £8000.00 to £8500.00, so as the watch was in brand new condition, I was expecting the higher quote. I travelled all the way to London Bond street, as i didn't want to let the watch out of my sight. The offer.....£6200. Total and utter scammers. I took the watch to another shop just down the road and got more than i had imagined they gave £9500! Wouldn't recommend at all. I don't even want to leave a 1 star review. Just thought id mention the 'other shop' it was Maunder Watches, Burlington Arcade, Really nice people, Knowledgeable, with a massive selection of beautiful watches.

Problems Making Contact

I have been trying to get through to The Watch Center but am having trouble. Does anyone know if this shop is still open as the website does not seem to be live either? Many thanks

Racist Establishment

My experience is that I was offered tea [and biscuits] when I purchased the watch, then given short shrift when I raised a legitimate concern about the watch. immediately rebuffed and made to feel like I had caused offence by raising my concerns.

They sent me a barrage of threatening emails, including a threat to report me to the Law Society.

I truly do not believe that I was treated with such contempt because I am black.

NEVER AGAIN.

Overall a good experience. A comprehensive review.

At first, having seen the negative reviews, I was very wary to buy from the Watch Centre. However, they had the two watches that I was looking for and I negotiated a great price, which was substantial, £100k. Before I transferred the money (not using a credit card but bank transfer) I spoke to another dealer, whom I had bought from in the past, who said they are fine to deal with and that he knows Raj (the owner), and don't worry about the transfer, they will give you the watches!
I was also given a zoom call to see the watches and had pleasant communication and great customer service.
My only gripe is that they wanted £1,000 to post the watches to me since they said they said that since one is over £50k it requires an armoured vehicle to bring them to me. The overall cost is £1,200, and I will have to pay £1,000. I wasn't happy with this and despite tough negotiations couldn't change this. Apparently, because the price of the watches was so good they couldn't pay the postage in full. So in the end, I collected the watches myself. Other dealers don't have this problem and this may need revisiting by the Watch Centre.
Meeting them in their offices, though time consuming in getting there, was however, a positive and pleasant experience.
May I suggest that they update their site it enable alerts of new items. Apparently this can be done via Chrono24 but to be honest that site is tricky to use at the best of times. So it would be more productive to get alerts directly from the Watch Centre.
I am surprised following my own overall positive experience at the negative reviews of others. I would definitely buy from them again.
Special thanks to Jude and Bal, and the gentleman on security who watched my car for me.

Beyond My Expectations

I purchased a watch fully set with diamonds from Watch Centre...and have to say that the watch is beyond my expectations...it was a rather large purchase to make from across the pond...but I could not be happier. Thank you to everyone at Watch Centre.

I bought a omega in April 2020

I bought a omega in April 2020. Since then I have sent the watch back to watch centre with the watch stop working after a week. Then now it doesn’t work again plus the clasp doesn’t fasten anymore like it should.

Avoid this company at all costs. I do believe that they have since gone out of business and have no way of contacting them. I have a 15 month warranty with the watch but now have to pay out of my own pocket to have the watch repaired professionally.
This is terrible and I hope if anyone from watch centre is reading this that you are a terrible person for not helping me or any other people who you have let down along the way

Sad but true

I bought a Rolex oyster through Crono24 from WC London, sold as shape very good. It stopped after some weeks. The Rolex authorised repair says this:

A strap pin not Rolex original.

The watch has become quite heavily polished.

The crown was shock-damaged and then the mark has been polished off.

Worn rotor shaft. Dirt in the work. Dust and fibers in the plant. The watch must have been at another watchmaker's relatively recently considering what the case etc looks like. It looks to be fairly recently polished, but the service is quite neglected. The watch in need of service.

I am waiting for an answer from CW London.

Sad!

A big no no

To make a 6 mounth story short. I bought a glashuette original. WC said it was from 2019 and in mint condition with box and papers. I got the watch and there were no papers. A week later the watch stopped working. Since it was from 2019 I left it at my local AD. It turned out the watch was not from 2019 but from around 2015 so there was no warranty left. On the same time corona broke out. I figured it was best not to send the watch back to WC. If they go bancrupt I would be left with nothing. Glashuette needed to replace a lot of things including the crown, hands and mainspring. I spent around £1000 to fix it and WC is not willing to even answer my emails. I would not recomend anybody to buy anything from them online. If they have a watch that interests you, visit them and check the watch really carefull. I live in Sweden so I did not have that option. I think WC saw their chance to rip me off knowing I live far away.

JLC REVERSO GRAN SPORT DUO

JLC REVERSO GRAN SPORT DUO. I had a very unfortunate buying experience with WatchCentre. The timepiece I purchased was marketed with ORIGINAL BOX and PAPERS. It was sent with the wrong box in addition to a second wrong box. He also told me that the Manuals were not included and he did not have any, which I accepted. When received, The interior of the JLC box it was shipped in left a nasty gummy residue all over the timepiece. When I called an expressed this concern, I was told, "when we get a box, we will send it to you". I cleaned the watch w soap, water and a soft toothbrush. In the meantime, I searched for a right JLC Gran Sport box and found it in Japan with booklets for $160.00. I purchased it and then contacted WatchCentre and asked if they would pay and reimburse me for the $160. expense I paid for the proper box for the JLC Reverso Gran Sport Duo. He told me they WOULD NOT reimburse me and just because I sent a photo, doesn't mean it is the box and booklets that come with this JLC. That's RIDICULOUS! Anyone who knows this brand would know that the box I purchased in the photo#4 is, in fact , the box this timepiece should come in. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I have purchased many fine watches from Rolex to Patek to IWC to Glashutte, etc. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED LIKE THIS. In closing, Rafael, who I was dealing with, will counter comment, DON"T BELIEVE A WORD HE SAYS. THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH. Photo #1 Received condition Photo #2 Box it was shipped in Photo #3 2nd wrong box included Photo #4 The box I purchased w Booklets and original box in background as proof I am very disturbed about this transaction and the question I asked was, why do you market a $6,200 timepiece Original Box and Papers when, in fact, they aren't? The response was - how do you know that is the right box and also, when we get one we'll send it to you. More importantly, we all know that original box and papers impact the resale of a fine timepiece. To be in good standing with customers, In my opinion, this seller, WatchCentre, should have reimbursed me $160. for the proper box. Any other reputed dealer would if the watch was marketed as including Original Box and Papers. I have never written a complaint, but this was necessary to share for anyone considering to do business with this company. Again, I may get a response to this, and whatever it is, if it conflicts with my story/ experience.- It is a lie. PERIOD!

The rudest and most unprofessional…

The rudest and most unprofessional watch dealers I have ever encountered. Having told them I no longer wanted to buy a watch from them, because I wasn't happy with the conditions of the deal, they emailed me insulting me and telling me to never contact them again. Never deal with Watchcenter London, if they don't get their way they will resort to aggression quickly. There are many better, more helpful watch dealers out there that deserve your attention and support.

reply to Raphael Danieli:
Dude, you have no right to speak to your clients over email like that. Calling me dishonest, not a man of my word, having 'small sense of courtesy and respect' for others. How dare you. I didn't come into your store because I found out your watch needed a £1000 service charge because of how terrible its condition was. I didn't want to do the deal, emailed you with respect at first to tell you. Then you lashed out. Good day.

Reply from Watch Center London

Dear Sir,

Absolutely shocked. You emailed us prior to coming and told us that you were ready to exchange your watch with ours and agreed to add £2250,- plus your watch for the exchange. We have told him that we are usually not open on Fridays and we can make an exception and open the shop for him to come in.

Friday came and we were waiting for him to come by and he never came nor emailed back to state that he could not make it. A normal person would have said something a day before or have the courtesy to email in the early morning stating the he changed his mind. Yet, what you did, you have absolutely no manner, you stated that you are not happy with the deal and make such a big hassle just because he was not willing to pay £2250 as we agreed before but only wanted to pay £2150,-. That was after the time where he did not even show up and never told us yet, stated that he would come in at a later time if we agreed a reduction of £100,-.

The gentlemen that we are, we would have probably accepted £2150,- at the end if he did show up on time as he agreed and never left us to wait and disrespected us in such a way.

After our frustration for the fact that we opened the shop especially for you, we have told you nicely and amicable to not contact us again as we have no intentions to deal with now nor in the near future. At this point, we never insulted you nor had the intention to do so, you have emailed back to say that we are ''Nasty".

I am sorry sir, put yourself in our position and you would understand how we felt at the time. Your review will not affect us at all because this is the true story. This is not about getting our way, we agreed on something and any other human being would have accepted respectfully and according to the situation. This is normal behaviour and simple etiquette to any person living and understanding the rules of respect one and another.

We are not forcing you to come in nor we are forcing you to buy anything with us, you have been emailing us for the passed month to get rid of your Omega watch that you understand that you made a mistake and put your frustration towards the review.

You were very happy with us once you purchased yourself a nice Rolex? nothing to say about that do you?

Warranty, I don‘t think so ...

Bought in Nov 2019 an IWC Portugieser on Chrono24 from them (from Watch Center Germany But the watch came with an invoice from Watch Center London). The watch was said to be from 2016 and fully original.
This year it needed a service at IWC and it turned out, that it is actually from 2015, the previous model number than the mentioned one in the advertisement and the folding clasp is a fake.
I wrote them via Chrono24, via email (11.8.) and tried to chat via their website (21.8.). They did not answer ANY of my attempts to contact them.
Very poor as the watch is still in warranty with them and they accept the T&Cs from Chrono24 not to sell fakes.

2020-09-11 Update. Still no reaction at all even though they challenged my review here via Trustpilot and wanted to have further infos about the deal.
I thought it can‘t get worse ....
