From start to finish, Dave and Dan were absolutely outstanding – professional, proactive, and deeply committed to making sure everything ran smoothly for the riders.

There were significant logistical challenges along the way, but Dave and Dan tackled each one with calm determination, brilliant teamwork, and a genuine desire to support the success of the tour. Watson European recently moved my inheritance items (furniture and other household goods) from Wales to my home in Paris. Throughout, Andy Gash was extremely available, responsive and patient with my (numerous!) queries. He’s due special thanks for informing me that moves « under probate » are exempt from French customs tax and dealing with the admin, it was all made easy and saved me a not inconsiderable sum. On collection day Dan and Dan were prompt, efficient and courteous. The delivery was subsequently made even sooner than initially promised and went without a hitch; in particular we really appreciated that Dan and colleague voluntarily reassembled an antique wardrobe, which was not in the contract and spared me straining my sore shoulder. The company was recommended to me by a friend and I’m very happy to recommend them on.

The first time I contacted Watson European was by email leaving my details and requestig a quote. I was contatced by phone by Andy Gash who immediately impressed me with this personal touch, we had a conversation on what was needed by ourselves and requested a quote, initialling given over the phone and I was surprised and delighted that this quote never changed throughout the five months we were in contact with Andy any there were no hidden charges following. There was a third party involved in this transaction, which needed input from Andy to finalise on delivery and check the goods on my behalf when delivered to their premises, which Andy did on my behalf efficiently and effectively and who kept me informed throughout the entire time. The next stage was delivering the items to me which once again was carried by by the team thoroughly, quickly and efficiently. The goods were delivered on time and in perfect condition and placed in position without any input from ourselves. Andy and his team are absolutely amazing and I would not hesitate in using them again or recommending them to others. Congratulations you have restored my faith from previous bad experiences in the past with other companies. Thank you all again.

This was the second occasion for us to use Watson European and once again, their professionalism, courtesy and efficiency shone through. At every stage, communication, clarity and customer service were exemplary. Every question or query received a prompt and relevant response, whilst the collection and delivery in both locations could not have been better. We were fully informed by phone, text and e-mail about every aspect of the move and all timings, which greatly helped to make the whole process far less stressful. Andy Gash is an excellent administrator and communicator, who is very efficient and helpful, whilst his good humour and calmness, regardless of any challenge, is both commendable and admirable. Whenever we will need to move in the future, we will always go back to Watson European, as there is absolutely no need to go elsewhere.

Despite many assurances about the company's experience, expertise, sensitivity to our needs and goodwill, our move from France to the UK was a disaster for us. Moving was chaotic because it was so poorly managed and the crew were badly led. We now have to replace much of our lost kitchen equipment and all goodwill has evaporated.

Our complaints at the time were met with a tentative apology but were never followed up with us. Eventually, we wrote a long letter sent by recorded delivery and detailing the many problems. Two months later we have yet to receive a reply.

• Additional Costs and Delays: Mr. and Mrs. Denenberg had to arrange for the piano and remaining boxes to be shipped separately, incurring delays which made most claims under the insurances impossible.
• Responsibility and Communication Issues: Mr. Denenberg highlighted the failure of Watson European to take responsibility for the issues and losses, with Mr. Gash blaming the other movers and avoiding responsibility for missing items.
• Insurance and Compensation: Mr. Denenberg discussed the insurance claim process and expressed dissatisfaction with the company's response.

In all, we were shocked and disappointed by this company. Some of their employees are decent people but we now deeply regret our choice.

From initial contact with Andy to obtain a quotation the service we received is very professional, we agreed a shipping date when Dan and Danny arrived to load up. They filled the wagon with expert Jenga moves , it was then we realised we had more goods than we thought. A quick conversation with Andy and a resolve was sorted. We left for France the day after and were met by Danny and Harry 4 days later at our French address. The guys work diligently to offload our goods and a few hrs later all was good. The boys left and we then had that moment of oh my God, where are we going to put all of this. A week later and our second load arrived with Dave, Martin and Albert who again did a remarkable job.
To summarise I would gave no hesitation in recommending Watsons European to any prospective requiring moving services. All of the team worked hard to help make our dream happen. A big thanks to all of the crew.

Andy and his team collected our 2 containers from storage in Thirsk to deliver in a couple months to France. They have been amazingly helpful, and Dan and Harry, the 2 extremely efficient and speedy removalists went above and beyond to make it as stress free as possible. What an amazing company. We had no hesitation in engaging Watson European to help us move our stuff back to the U.K. from central France. Their quote for the job was very reasonable and their professionalism was indisputable. At every stage in the process we were kept informed of progress and it wasn’t a straight forward one . An old Land Rover piled with things to Jersey, a heap of things to be collected from a barn when we weren’t there to be taken into storage and then delivered to Suffolk and made ready to go to various addresses later. Paperwork was done and everything went without a hitch. Andy and his team were unfailingly cheerful and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend Watsons

Contacted Andy for a quote to move a quad bike and a transit van load of vintage garage memorabilia from Cornwall to Brittany - Price agreed (very reasonable) Collection was arranged and we were kept updated throughout the process regarding ETA etc. Items held in storage and then shipped to Brittany approx 8 weeks later. Andy was a constant throughout out the process, advising us on customs, import duty and tax. The delivery was very smooth and again I was kept constantly updated regarding ETA. Nothing was too much trouble for the team at Watson European and we will definitely be using them again! We highly recommend this company, and will spread the word!

Andy (assisted by Amy) has been amazing at scheduling (and re-scheduling!) our move to France from the UK and ensuring all paperwork is compliant and correct.
