Easy contact, good price, efficient and helpful removal men - managed challenging locations.

From the start they were great. They dealt with customs for us. They were excellent when picking up the furniture and with 2 months free storage that gave us the time to wait for our house to be completed. When the furniture came the men again were excellent. Andy was always on the end of the phone for communication. They were an excellent price compared with others that I looked at so overall they were the best.

Following recommendations from friends in France who'd used Watsons for their removals, we got in touch with them for our whole house/garden removal from London to France. From the first phone call a few months ago, through to delivery in France this morning - they were a brilliant team. They were efficient and skilful at packing and unpacking, both done in about two hours - all at a reasonable price with a great sense of humour. We would highly recommend.

From our first contact to final delivery of our goods to our new home in Branston the team at Watsons have been excellent. TOR completed quickly and efficiently. Collection of goods from our house in France was completed in quickly without fuss. Access to our goods in storage at North Hykeham was easily accommodated. All round a very pleasant team to deal with throughout the process they helped reduce the stress to a minimum. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for your move.

We relocated with Watson European Removals from the UK to South West France and found them to be very good on both sides of the Channel. Communication with Andy and Amy was excellent and Andy's logistical skills were impressive. They are a smaller business and proved to be very flexible on dates and always contactable. Dave, Tyler and Kevin worked very well together as a highly efficient team and were also pleasant to deal with. We would be pleased to use them again and we have already recommended them.

Excellent communication from start to finish. Watsons took away so much of the stress during our move from France to UK, incliding dealing with the TOR documentation for Customs. Great customer service, really lovely guys…we had every confidence in them throughout the whole process. Highly recommend them.

Exceptional communication and service, from the start of our enquiry to the re delivery of our furniture. We can only say that Watson's took the stress away from an anxious move back to the UK from France. We had excellent, reassuring help with all the paperwork putting our minds at rest. Andy is extremely helpful, approachable and available at all times. The drivers were efficient, puntual, very friendly and careful with our possessions. We rarely post reviews for anything, but our experience with Watson European was quite exceptional. From start to finish the entire team were professional, helpful and friendly, even when some major setbacks created additional problems for them to deal with. Without exception they made us feel valued, and went out of their way to inform and reassure us at every stage. Their quote was very competitive, and their service matched their promises. Andy was an invaluable source of information about the entire process, and was responsive to everything we asked of him, even responding to one of our panic-stricken queries from his hotel balcony in Tenerife. The teams in France and in Scotland were quite amazing, treating us with courtesy and humour, no matter how many difficulties we created for them. Unloading in Blairgowrie proved to be even more of a challenge than loading in La Sauvetat, but Dan and Danny were unfailingly cheerful. These guys have just moved us from the Scottish Borders to the Pyrenees. They are very friendly professionals and took away all the stress of a logistically challenging move. Their purpose-designed trucks carry a Merc Sprinter van inside in case of access issues either end - it took 5 relay runs to bring all our stuff up the lane to the door ...and to think we'd considered buying our own a van, yet their quote was way less. They also handled the docs to import our car, a real bonus for us.

What can one say to improve on what 5 stars say of themselves? We had excellent service on a fiddly and complicated move. Staff went well beyond the call of duty and remained pleasant and cheerful, even when faced with unexpected problems and delays (caused by others, not them or us).

I know how invaluable reviews are for service providers and potential clients alike. Here is an unbiased and unsolicited review of our experience with Watson European. Our relationship started in April 23 through to this summer 2025.
I used FB to get recommendations for a removal company to handle moving a house and garden full of stuff to England. A trawl of reviews then filtered it all down to Watson European. When I mailed them for a quote I got a same day, comprehensive phone response from Andy Gash explaining everything the Company would do to make our experience as smooth as possible. To say they delivered, pardon the pun, is an understatement. I can not speak highly enough of the whole team. Andy and Amy in the office responded to my many ,often trivial, questions and load-size changes throughout the process with patience and clarity. The most important guys (perhaps!) Dave, Dan and, er, Dan arrived on time, loaded with care and speed then re-appeared some weeks later ( as we used Watson’s storage offer) to deliver everything with equal efficiency. Top blokes. No hitches, no issues, just a cheery, professional demeanour at all times. The whole process went without a single glitch, though I don’t doubt they would have resolved any issue that arose.
By a long way this is the best removal company we have ever used and we unreservedly recommend them.

The main contact we had with Watson's was Andy who was excellent in all respects and provided invaluable help and advice on making this move. Communication at all times was fast and easy. Watson European recently moved my inheritance items (furniture and other household goods) from Wales to my home in Paris. Throughout, Andy Gash was extremely available, responsive and patient with my (numerous!) queries. He’s due special thanks for informing me that moves « under probate » are exempt from French customs tax and dealing with the admin, it was all made easy and saved me a not inconsiderable sum. On collection day Dan and Dan were prompt, efficient and courteous. The delivery was subsequently made even sooner than initially promised and went without a hitch; in particular we really appreciated that Dan and colleague voluntarily reassembled an antique wardrobe, which was not in the contract and spared me straining my sore shoulder. The company was recommended to me by a friend and I’m very happy to recommend them on.
