I used Watson European to move my belongings back to London from the South of France. I got a personal service from the start and was always able to get hold of the boss if I had any questions or wanted to change my plans. And the guys who turned up to pack, load and unload were great - punctual, cheerful, helpful, they worked quickly but carefully. As much as moving can ever be, this was a painless experience! Highly recommended.

I have been dealing with Andy, and I have to say he made our move from France so much easier. We were given very little notice of our moving date, but Andy at Watson’s pulled out all stops , and not only found us a date but helped with the paperwork. Nothing was to much trouble. The removals team were first class and most helpful, both loading and unloading.

I used Watson European for my move back to the UK from France and from start to finish they have been excellent. All the staff have been helpful and supportive and no question was too trivial for them to answer, exactly what I needed. I was able to complete my part of the paperwork but knew I only had to ask and they were there to guide me through any problems. Everything has arrived undamaged including the large model boat in a glass case which was never seen as a problem to anyone but me!
It has been a long journey in more ways than one but I will always be grateful for the support offered, especially by the office staff, one of whom I had the pleasure to meet when my furniture arrived and who was as pleasant and friendly in person as he had been on the phone answering my endless queries. The removal men were fast, efficient and ever cheerful and obviously packed with care resulting in no breakages.
My heartfelt thanks to everyone involved for making a difficult experience into something I could cope with.

We cannot recommend nor thank Watson European enough. Truly. We found the entire team (office and removals) to be endlessly helpful and professional. Moving the contents of a house after 30 years of occupancy is stressful and the expert reassurance we received from Watsons was key to making it all easier. The removal team (Dave, NSF Dan, Danny, Harry Ross, Luke) were a joy from pick up to delivery – quick, efficient, great humour and they never stopped working - without being asked, they immediately removed their shoes in newly carpeted interiors and – even after 9 months of storage – remembered the pieces. Andy and Alex in the office were always a pleasure to talk to and found solutions for everything. Their help with the logistics of a return to UK from France was invaluable and they provided support every step of the way. They really are the best. Thank you! From my initial enquiry with Andy and the very competitive price quoted, to the collection of my goods which had been in storage in France for 2 years awaiting return to UK, and the safe delivery to the UK, this company were nothing short of excellent in every aspect. Even when there was an extremely upsetting and stressful issue re. HMRC's Transfer of Residence Application at the last minute, Andy reassured me that he would sort it out - and he did! The team (Dave and Dan) that collected my goods in France were extremely efficient and professional, with a friendly manner and good sense of humour! The delivery of my goods to the UK address (by the same Dan) and Luke was exactly the same.
Being a widow and senior citizen I was so pleased and thankful that Watson European's team (including Andy, Amy and Alex in the office) were so knowledgeable in organising the logistics of everything, and that their guys involved in the transport were so proficient. My extra special thanks go to Andy Gash who was an excellent communicator, co-ordinator and an absolute star not only regarding the stressful situation with HMRC, but also for his efforts to arrange collection and delivery at dates that would be suitable for me.
I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone requiring an efficient, professional yet friendly removal service in the UK and Europe.

We have used Watson European twice and again, we have not been disappointed! From start to finish we have had a friendly, professional service. For our latest venture, they took on the mammoth job of moving us lock stock from France to the south of Spain! They did an absolutely sterling job and we weren't even able to offer teas or coffees the other end as we couldn't find where the kettle was packed!!! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys. The back office team were super helpful in trying to juggle schedules to accommodate our moving dates. Having solid, reliable movers really takes a lot of the stress out of what is already an incredibly stressful undertaking! Thanks guys!!

We had a very complicated move from a large house in central Brittany, in France, to a smaller but remote house in the foothills of the Pyrenees, just over the border in Spain, plus a part load being sent back to UK for our son.

Quite a lot of the furniture was being left for the next owners, so it was difficult to estimate volumes of belongings that were being moved. Watson European arranged for a local expert to come in to give us a better idea of the volume required, then delivered boxes and tape to allow us to get going on packing in advance.

The move involved 4 vehicles, to carry some 150 m3 of belongings, plus a tractor and a 3.5 tonne statue, but was complicated by the fact that the last 2.5 kms in Spain, were on a narrow, single lane rough track on steep terrain. This meant transferring all our belongings onto a lighter 3.5 tonne van for numerous trips down the last leg.

The guys worked like Trojans, first with the packing and then a couple of days later with the transferring and unloading. The weather in Spain was horrific, with torrential rain, along with the need to transfer all our belongings onto smaller vehicles to get them down to our new house! Hats off to your guys, they kept their sense of humour, despite being soaked and dispirited by our vast amount of ‘stuff’!

I think it may go down as one of the worst and most complicated moves they have ever had to do, however they as a team have succeeded in conquering the challenge with relative ease!

I would have no problem recommending them to anyone that needs convincing! They are a great team!

Watson team, Dave,F Dan, 'Harry' and Danny arrived for a cup (or more) of tea - sorry no hobnobs! In between cuppas, they managed to move our entire workshop and household contents. I cannot praise the team highly enough. After several stressful weeks, they were the highlight of our move. Watsons are simply the best. You certainly get what you pay for. Andy in the office was a mine of information and guided us through the complex paper work and regulations. The removal team were highly efficient and carried out the work with considerable humour. Watson European was extremely helpful, understanding and gave the most efficient service with both collecting and delivering our goods. The whole team were friendly, efficient and dealt with all the issues relating import duties making the whole experience totally relaxed and at ease.

Watson's communicated extremely well with me both in France and in the UK in order to meet my needs for pickup, storage and delivery in the UK before coordinating a timely delivery to France: they have been courteous, efficient and trustworthy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services.

After much searching on line, we chose Watson European to handle the move from our (sold) second home in France back to the UK. We were not disappointed.
To begin with, the Staff were excellent communicators. They were able to explain all aspects clearly and thoroughly. Watson's forms reflected this approach, too. Andy and Alex, who run the Office, were always available to respond to the endless anxious questions we kept thinking of. They were pleasant, efficient and helpful. For example, they made the customs procedure - potentially daunting - simple and effortless. They thought of and took care of everything.
The giants who did the actual moving kept us informed in advance of their arrival and arrived on time. They loaded the van in record time. We then took advantage of Watson's 60-day free storage facility, and when our belongings arrived at our UK home, Andy and Alex offered to carry them to wherever in our house we wanted.
We have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Watson European.

Needed to return to the UK after twenty years in France. I am a widow of 84 and Watson European was recommended by a friend who had used then last year.
They were fantastic.
Nothing was too much trouble and I had a rather large amount to transport, including things for my daughter.
The team who came were so friendly and treated me so well.
On arrival at my new home, a 2bed flat on a second floor, they set to, and unloaded! Fortunately I have a garage so a fair amount went there!
All I can say is this Thank you Watsons for a great service, and all done efficiently and with a smile!

I have moved many times over the years with a variety of companies, but the service with Watson European was beyond anything I've previously experienced.
This was a very stressful move for me, and from the start I was supported by Alex & Andy. The movers in both France & UK were friendly, helpful & professional.
Based on my experience I would recommend & definitely use again ( though hopefully I'm not moving again for a while!)

A fantastic moving experience!

We engaged Watson European to move us from France during the worst stages of Covid-19, first to our London home and then to our new home in Yorkshire seven months later. This involved three lots of packing and unpacking and on each occasion it was mainly the same team. The logistical arrangements put in place were extremely well planned and executed and all the members of the team could not have been more helpful in making the three stages of the move run smoothly. This, together with their lively senses of humour made what could have been a complete nightmare in to a highly enjoyable experience. We cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Watson European stood out amongst all the other removal services we contacted for a quote. So friendly and they really listened to our requirements to work out the best solution and offer. On the day, the movers were also really friendly and so efficient. They made it look easy when it was actually a tricky job. And everything arrived safely and on schedule. From the very first call to sorting out the paperwork and then the actual move, we don't think you'll find a better removalist out there. Highly recommend.

Brilliant! Dave and Dan were great. We had a real laugh and thoroughly enjoyed their company. They moved us from SW France back to Herefordshire (after a 24 year absence). They were not piano experts but managed our large, heavy grand piano with real care. In fact, they took care with all our furniture. Cannot praise them highly enough - and thanks to Andy for arranging everything so well!

Their employees do not respect other passengers onboard the ferry, making a lot of noise long after the lights have been dimmed for sleeping and the company owner just hangs up the phone when you try to speak about it.
