Really helpful service from beginning to end.Andy guided us through the complexities of Customs and VAT and made things as easy as possible. The two who picked up the load in France were also very helpful and everything was delivered in the UK in perfect condition.

In planning our return to France from the UK, Andy has been first class in assisting us in the whole process and removing a lot of stress. Due to a pre-organised holiday Andy arranged the pick up of our belongings which were in storage in the UK 6 weeks before we moved to France. All done by Andy and his team, we were not even there. All the paperwork was complete before we went on holiday and Andy assured me it would all be well and it was.

David and Dan were the team who delivered our furniture in France, very professional and were amazing in ensuring our belongings were unloaded with humour and care. A hot day too!

Andy was always at the end of the phone, along with Amy, a great support.

I don’t know where to start. I really want to do Watson European justice with this review. But I don’t think words are enough …

Ill just start at the beginning & keep it as concise as possible :

Back in November 2023 I started contacting removal companies for our move back to the UK from France. Moving home is stressful enough, but being that I suffer from anxiety, the whole process felt excruciating.

That was until I spoke to Andy at Watson European !

He was the only one, out of all the other companies that I spoke to, that gave me Proactive, Factual Advice regarding Brexit. He explained the whole removal process in detail, answered all my questions, while taking the time to sooth my anxiety. Relief is not a big enough word for how I felt after our first conversation.

And it didn’t stop there, every phone call after that was the same. Andy was always available, and my further (many) questions were answered with patience and genuine care.

Initially I had planned to do all the packing myself, but due to a “surprise appendectomy” three months before our moving date, I had to rely on Watson European to do most of the packing for us … talk about heightened anxiety – other people packing up all my glass wear – my clothes – all our worldly possessions … !!!

This is when my husband decided it would be best if I was not around when the packing commenced ! So just before Watsons arrival, I flew back to the UK, leaving my husband to direct the removal. Which thanks to the professionality of the team that arrived - he did with seamless ease. In my man’s own words the men were “Exceptionally experienced and loaded everything with great care.” My husband’s description of the young gentleman who was packing all my fragile ornaments was – “He is quite a Perfectionist”. I thought – well that’s just Perfect !

It took all of 3 days for Watson to arrive at our new home in the UK. We were kept informed of their status that whole way. And at this point I got to witness their expert handling of our furniture, piano, boxes clothes etc … I was quite honestly in awe, and again so very relieved.

Now that I have fully unpacked - I can also tell you with Full Confidence – The packing of all the boxes was done with extreme care and intelligence. Not a thing damaged. I was amazed and delighted all at the same time !

So should you be needing a removal company, whether you have anxiety or not – Watson European are the way to go. They ran circles around every other company I spoke to.

From the very first call, and through the whole removal they were on the ball.

I only wish they had the contract to teach all other removal company’s the same etiquette and work ethic.

A move from a storage facility in London to a property in the Southern part of France, without been on-hand for the initial part. Communication, both via Email and WhatsApp allowed for a very smooth service, including producing a very simple process for carrying out the required "Official" paperwork. The delivery of the mixed household items was efficiently, swiftly and neatly carried out by Andy and his team.

Beginning to End - The Best!

I had to have a Dutch registered car moved from storage in the UK to storage in France, in preparation for our move there later in the year. The paperwork was potentially hideously complex but Andy and his team dealt with everything and made the experience completely painless for me. Communication is so important when you are trying to arrange things like this remotely and the guys were spot on in this respect. I can highly recommend this company.

We cannot recommend a better service from start to end from the helpful, professional, smiley TEAM on spot but also on admin. Nothing was an issue.It was stressfree during the all process. And Andy has been the most easiest person to deal with.

There was great communication before the job, assistance with creating packing lists and with the HMRC side of things. The crew arrived on time and really worked hard to get things done.
