I would recommend Watsons.

Friendly and efficient service.
Watsons have been great for our survey on a potential property purchase. Very easy to get in touch with to arrange the survey, the surveyor called me the following day to give me a general overview of what he had found which was great . The survey itself was carried out on a Thursday and we received the full report the following Monday. The report is very detailed with lots of advice and we were encouraged to call them up if there was anything we needed explaining. Great service and I would definitely recommend them .

Recommend for First Time Buyers!
As first time buyers, we were nervous about the whole process. We put an offer on a house in Sheffield which on the surface looked great. When the report came back, it was filled with unexpected problems. With our heads in our hands, we thought we were doomed. Our surveyor, Andrew, was incredible - he gave us a call and spoke through all our concerns and questions about the report and the house, what's common and uncommon, and what could be extensive work. He gave us his time on a Friday afternoon and was answering all sorts of questions for a good 30 minutes.
I cannot recommend this company, and Andrew in particular, enough, especially if you're a first time buyer.
