Way To Travel. I love my time with Way to Travel
I love my time with Way to Travel. This trip was fabulous. From Hanoi to Saigon.I love our time in the stunning Pu Luong it is a gorgeous part of the country.Hoi An visiting the Tra Que Water Wheel and making the delicious pancakes along with eating more of their delightful assortment of dishes. Visiting the Banh Mi Queen a few times! Oh I love her bread. We went to the Memories show in Hoi An and I thoroughly enjoy it! I highlight was in Saigon when we did the food safari with the lovely female riders. I learnt things on that ride! The food was superb and I was full after the Pho but the little leaf wrapped bites did go well with a beer! Thanks Harry, thanks Jane Hanoi and thanks JP even though we didn't see much of each other. Love your work!!

The variety of experiences was exceptional. Our guide, Harry, took great care of us, especially me, when I got sick son after arrival. Harry got me crackers and soup as I was too sick to leave my room. He went above and beyond my expectations. On my birthday, I was surprised with a beautiful cake. I feel like I really got insight into the Vietnam culture. This tour was a great value and I highly recommend Way to Go travel.
Way to Travel Tour is Incredible!!!
The tour was amazing! I cannot say enough about how impressed I was with the details that went into all the planning of hotels, cities, excursions, domestic transportation, and meals. The tour included cities that I really wanted to visit, like Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Ninh Binh, Hoi Ann, Hue, Ho Chi Minh City and Mekong Delta! Many of the excursions were absolute bonuses, including so much cultural immersion. Such rich and delightful experiences! The service portion of the trip was hard work but so rewarding and gratifying. The service portion of the tour is why I chose this tour. Our tour guide, Harry, was awesome and a joy to be around. He was knowledgeable about the history of the sites we visited and took such good care of us throughout the tour. Our Way to Travel tour director, Jane, did an outstanding job planning and executing the tour details. I would go on this tour again and recommend to anyone that wants to visit key cities in Vietnam with a service portion. It was an absolutely amazing trip on my bucket list!!! I’m still glowing from this trip! ❤️❤️❤️
Interesting and well planned trip
The trip was very well planned by Way to travel- enjoyed all the activities and nothing was too much trouble for our guides Jane and Harry. Would definitely recommend Way to travel.
I have just returned from an incredible…
I have just returned from an incredible 17 days experience with Way To Travel in Vietnam. I had been looking forward to this trip since I booked a year ago to be faced with flight problems due the Middle East issues. But I managed to rebook 2 days before leaving at a ridiculous cost but boy was it worth it! The group was led by locals and includes seeing the sights with some authentic immersion and some volunteering within local communities - making positive changes to their lives.
Being my first solo trip I was very anxious but was made extremely welcome by the locals and my new found 'family' of likeminded travellers.
My first time in Asia was incredible and has me wanting to visit and explore other areas and this was all down to the amazing hosts and professional organisation of Way to Travel.
I met wonderful people, ate wonderful food ( all restaurants and places we stayed had been thoroughly vetted by the leaders and I was extremely impressed with.
I cannot recommend Way to Travel highly enough and 5 *s is not enough.
Thank you Way to Travel , Jane and Harry .
An unforgettable adventure in give-back travel
I am taking a few days to process this trip and reintegrate back into my life because it truly was the most incredible adventure that I have ever had!
From the point of booking flights, Jane was on hand to support and offer advice and this continued until I safely returned home. I felt so well looked after by Jane and our amazing guide, Harry, who was with us throughout the trip. Being able to see a country through the eyes of people who live there is an absolute privilege - it gave me a real insight into life in Vietnam and a chance to have an experience beyond that of a tourist.
The schedule is pretty full on, with pockets of down time - this meant that I really felt I had been there for weeks longer than my actual trip and was able to have so many mini adventures along the way. There are too many to mention, but included drinks in Train Street, rickshaw rides, overnight train (so much fun), a beautiful boat stay in Ha Long Bay, kayaking, sunrise tai chi, walking and eating meditations, cycling through rice paddies, boating through caves, climbing Lying Dragon, an afternoon at Huyen Khong Son Thuong pagoda (I really loved it there! - so peaceful and beautiful) and watching the sunset, Tra Que Herb Village and lacquer, lantern making and carving classes. Accommodation was really varied, but always extremely clean and comfortable and the staff were excellent.
I have to mention the food - it was all amazing and felt like a gourmet tour of Vietnam! Everyone's dietary needs and preferences were well catered for and the food was delicious. We did a couple of cooking classes, ate together as a group and had plenty of recommendations for free time. We also had several meals cooked by locals and eaten family-style which were real highlights for me.
The parts that made this trip really special were the people we met and supported. Visiting the Hope Center - which provides vocational training to disabled youngsters and being taught crafts by them was really heartwarming. Teaching in a local school was so much fun! But the absolute pinnacle of the trip was the give-back project where we helped an extremely disadvantaged family by improving their day to day life (doors, windows, modernised bathroom and kitchen facilities). The most important part was creating sustainable and generational change. To achieve this, we built and kitted out a chicken coop to provide the family with a more reliable income, ensuring the children could continue with their education and training. It was hard work (we had a lot of rain!) but also so much fun - I learnt loads of new skills and we worked brilliantly as a team. The presentations to the family and kind works spoken were incredibly moving and uplifting.
I was nervous about travelling solo, but needn't have worried. Harry was always on hand to offer support and advice when needed and it was fantastic to gel with the group from across the world! Vietnam is a truly wonderful country filled with beautiful people. I feel that I have left a piece of my heart there and was so sad to leave, but will always treasure the incredible memories. If you are thinking about making this trip - just do it - it will stay with you forever.
Way To Travel Vietnam Jan '26
My first review on Trust Pilot but I can ony echo the comments made by Belinda and Margret. We had a great time throughout our Jan '26 tour of Vietnam. The itinary and attractions organised by Jane and our tour guide Mr T kept us busy and engaged. T could not do enough for us. From providing salted coffee, changing currencies, facilitating laundry, restaurant recommendations, shopping and tipping advice, organising all modes of transport, engaging local knowledge and history, the service was outstanding.
Touring with a difference. What a memorable trip with Way To…
What a memorable trip with Way To Travel organised by Jane Hanoi and the best travel guide ever Mr. T aka Tuan. We travelled from Hanoi in the North to Saigon in the South on planes, boats and overnight train all organised efficiently with precision with Mr T by our side every step of the way. He went above and beyond to ensure smooth running of this tour. We have connected in many ways with local people and supported lots of worthwhile causes. Been involved in volunteering and learning skilled crafts whilst still enjoying the beauty of Vietnam and the lovely Vietnamese people. It is an excellent tour and highly recommended.

I have just finished the 17 day tour to Vietnam, including 3 days volunteering. The tour was extremely well organised, and our tour guide, Mr T, was outstanding!
The tour included a variety of activities plus some optional extras, and there was a good balance of time to play and time to relax.
The accommodation and restaurants were well chosen, and the transport between cities was comfortable and safe.
This was my second tour with Way to Travel. Would I travel with them again? Absolutely I would!
⭐️ A Journey That Stays With You
⭐️ A Journey That Stays With You – Way To Travel Vietnam ⭐️
🇦🇺My November experience with Way To Travel Vietnam was something I genuinely felt, not just something I saw. They gave me the chance to fully immerse myself in the culture, history, and daily life in a way that felt authentic, respectful, and deeply moving.
The commitment, effort, and heart behind every project and every moment of the schedule were undeniable — you can tell they don’t just organise trips; they create experiences with purpose.
But what truly completed the journey were the people. Along the way, I met individuals who opened their homes, their stories, and their hearts. Strangers became friends, and those friends honestly feel like family now.
It wasn’t just a trip — it was a connection, a perspective shift, and a reminder of what truly matters.
If you want a travel experience that changes you from the inside out, Way To Travel Vietnam is the one. 🌏❤️

Oct 2025 Trip of a lifetime trip was awesome
The Oct 2025 trip was awesome; not only meeting but surpassing our expectations! Each detail of the trip, from airport arrival to leaving was planned out by Mr. T. leaving us with a wonderful experience and much greater
understanding and appreciation of Vietnamese culture. This is not your regular tour! This is an opportunity to listen, learn and give back. We highly recommend Way to Travel if you are looking to do something different. You will be amazed at what a group of like minded people can do together with gentle guidance and a whole lot of heart. The Way to Travel provides opportunities for you to stretch and grow individually and build relationships with others and the Vietnamese community.

Oct 2025 way to travel
My experience was great due to the information the guide shared with us constantly about the culture, food and history of vietman. The opportunities to imurse ourselves in the communities and interact with the people. The three days we spent doing the building project with the local family was a highlight for sure. Visiting a local school and interacting with the kids was such a fantastic opportunity.

What a fantastic trip this has been
What a fantastic trip this has been! I highly recommend it. It’s a wonderful way to ‘give back’ while getting completely immersed in the culture and splendour this country has to offer. Our guide Mr T was wonderful and thought about every last detail in our itinerary which enabled us to fully enjoy every moment. He shared wonderful stories about the history and culture of Vietnam and bought the whole trip to life. The ‘give back’ part of the trip is so humbling and rewarding, it makes the trip so very worthwhile.
I can’t recommend this toir enough and two of my friends have already signed up for next year after seeing my photos and the extensive and varied itinerary.

An unforgettable experience
This was an amazing tour. Everything was organised so well and T our guide was happy to tweak things when needed to make sure everyone was happy and looked after. Each time we moved it was seamless. So many excursions are included and we hardly needed to think about anything other than being where we needed to be at the right time! We saw and did so much in the 17 days that it feels unbelievable. Our group was the perfect size (12 people) and I made some wonderful friends. The give back opportunity was an absolute highlight and I would definitely recommend Way to Travel.

What an amazing volunteering experience
What an amazing experience. Jane and T make a great team. The highlights for me were the volunteering, school visit, mud fishing and understanding the Vietnamese way of life
This was truly the trip of a lifetime
This was truly the trip of a lifetime. From all of the experiences - bike riding in the mist past rice fields surrounded by tropical mountains, kayaking on Ha Long Bay, the cooking and coffee making classes, the factory visits, all the (many) boat rides, the overnight train trip, the city explorations, the organic farm visit, the mudfishing for dinner, the volunteer experiences with a Vietnamese family and in an elementary school - it was just incredible. You will be amazed at how much you can see and do in 17 days, but there was always time for quiet reflection or soaking in the atmosphere of the place you were in right then.
A large part of what made this trip so incredible was Jane and Mr T who patiently showed us the real Vietnam and answered our 10,000 questions on the history of the country, their current way of life, and everything else in between. It is clear that they have a passion for sharing all aspects of their culture with the tours they lead. Everything was taken care of and any bumps in the plan were met with humor and a quick pivot.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this trip to anyone looking to have an introduction to Vietnam and the Vietnamese people. It was, simply put, just an amazing adventure from start to finish.

Book It!!!!!
Jane and Mr. T have put a lot of thought and preparation in this tour. It was awesome, well put together and flowed smoothly from the airport pick-up to the taxi ride back to the airport on departure day. The sight seeing, outings and volunteer opportunities were fun, educational and beautiful. Mr. T shares personal events and so much history about his country, you can tell that he is very passionate about what he does. It isn't just a job for him. They went above and beyond expectations. If you are even remotely considering this trip I would tell you to BOOK IT!!!!!! You will get to help people with your giving of time, labor and love. You will also make life-long friends from all over the world.

Incredible experience
What an amazing, unforgettable tour! Jane Hanoi has organized a trip filled with authentic cultural experiences in Vietnam. From the time we arrived in Hanoi til we flew home we were extremely well-looked after by our guide, Tuan whose wealth of historical knowledge, caring, good humour, and fantastic work ethic consistently went above expectations. He is a gem.
A huge highlight and privilege was spending a few days in a giving back project for a needy family. Each of us contributed our labour to our ability.
We helped build a bathroom and chicken coop. Totally unbelievable what can be accomplished by volunteers and people like Jane and Tuan.
The rest of the tour included a large variety of activities including biking, hiking, food tour, cooking class, overnight on a train and on a boat on Ha Long Bay.
Book your adventure with Way to Travel!

Way to travel volunteer tour Vietnam
This was my 1st time going a group of people to travel. This first attraction was the volunteer work. Then the holiday. I was super surprised at the accommodation and the planning of the tour - it was flawless. The accomodation was just awesome. The experiences that Jane and Mr T organised was so awesome. The tour was so thorough that the only reason i would go back is for more volunteer work and experience the north (Sapa) area. Otherwise i feel that Jane and Mr t made sure that we got to see the whole of Vietnam and its culture and History. Mr T knows so much about the history. It left me coming home knowing so much more about each place we went to and their cultures and traditions in each location. Truly loved the trip and would go on another We travel tour.

Jane the organisers did an amazing job. Thanks for giving me a fantastic trip .
