Excellant service Reasonably priced and delivered on time I will definitely use this company again and have recommended them to the mechanic that fitted the item i ordered
Not fitted yet, but the alternator seems to be a super new product, probably made in China so we’ll see . The initial phone ordering process seemed a bit too hurried, but the decently priced product... See more

Very helpful identifying appropriate replacement starter motor. Part turned up within 48 (working) hours. Engine now running again. Can’t fault service.

Given the service and interest I…
Given the service and interest I received I really do want to compliment your people.
Two days before Christmas we were 206 mile south of your workshop holding a destroyed starter motor that was off our diesel generator, our only source of electricity and heating.
I had brief discussion with the man who was at work early and tried to describe what exactly I needed. I though the one I had seen on you web page was the one, but knowing just how many types of starter exist I decided to hire a car and drive up.
We battled the traffic delays and called ahead to apologise for out late arrival. “Don’t worry, we will wait and find the starter you need” was the reply.
Sure enough two blokes were waiting at the door when we arrived around 4:30 PM. They then took it upon themselves to solve the problem, with an obvious pride and “we can do it” attitude. They searched, checked, measured and searched again, then good as their word located the correct item. There is lots of talk about “Modern Customer Service” but nothing beats people you have pride and care about their work.
We drove back our 206 mile glad to have met tradesmen and people who actually care. And by the way the price was half than that which the OEM would have charged.
My thanks and hopes that your people and business has a successful year ahead.

Bought an alternator from this…
Bought an alternator from this business, we were told it was brand new. However it was actually refurbished. We bought it on the 4th April and by the 14th April it had broken down. They gave us a warranty of 18 months but when we took it back to be replaced using this warranty, they said that it was not their fault and blamed it on our vehicle despite our vehicle being a 2017 plate. We wanted a refund but they said they could not do that, however they did very reluctantly, replace the part. Would not recommend this company, better to buy new from else-where as you will end up replacing it anyway.

Still waiting for a refund after 12…
Still waiting for a refund after 12 months. Extremely rude on the phone if not abusive. Now having to go to court to recover price of starter motor. I would avoid this company at all cost. I have telephoned the company on many occasions and still no refund. You have my details and choose to ignore them even though you've had more than one occasion to resolve this issue. You say that there are 2 sides to every story. Let's have your reason for not refunding me on a returned starter motor.

Cannot fault this company
Cannot fault this company, they provided the correct part required for my car and delivered to my door less than 24 hours later. I was kept updated on delivery time and the part arrived well packaged, exactly on schedule. Thank you so much for great customer service from knowledgeable staff.

Avoid at all costs
Gave very good price but could not confirm exactly what I was getting for my money. This is in line with other comments made
So I would avoid at all costs

Totally incorrect advice given and …
Totally incorrect advice given and almost impossible to get a refund afterwards. Never did what they promised and most of what they told me turned out not to be true. I wasted hours trying to get my money back after my alternator never arrived. I had to threaten them with my credit card protection in the end. Next day delivery but never able to give me a DPD tracking number but always arriving tomorrow even after a week. Completely useless and to be avoided. In the end I purchased my alternator from a reputable dealer at a much lower price.

DO NOT EXPECT TO GET A REFUND ON FAULTY GOODS
Bad – unacceptable experience, unreasonable and rude conduct. Exactly as described. Was TOLD GO GET A LIFE. Took me and one other customer a year to recover with a county court order money owed on a returned faulty alternator.
UPDATE, AFTER 8 YEARS WESTLANCS IS INSINUATING THAT MY ALTERNATOR WAS NOT AND WRITTEN IN CAPS "GENUINELY FAULTY".
EXACTLY WHAT THEY MEAN BY THAT I'M NOT QUITE SURE.
THE BEARINGS HAD SEIZED AFTER ONLY A FEW THOUSAND MILES AND THEN AS WITH OTHER COMPLAINTS SAY THAT THE CAR CAUSED THE FAILURE TO RENEGADE ON THE SO CALLED WARRANTY
HOW STUPID, I DON'T THINK THESE GUYS ARE ALL THAT BRIGHT,THEY EXPECT EVERYONE TO BE MECHANICALLY NIEVE AND BELIEVE IT.
CAN YOU IMAGINE WHAT CHANCE YOU HAVE AFTER A YEAR IN THE WARRANTY
SO REMEMBER IF YOU HAVE A FAULTY ITEM THE OUT NOW WITHOUT ANY EXPLANATIONS IS THAT ITS NOT A VALID CLAIM AND HOPE YOU GO AWAY WHICH I SUPPOSE MOST DO.
THESE GUYS ARE SLIPPERY SNAKES IN THE GRASS CONTRADICTING THEMSELVES.
REMEMBER LIARS NEED A GOOD MEMORY.
YES OFF COURSE THEY HAVE GOOD REVIEWS BUT ONLY FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVEN'T HAD PROBLEMS.
NOT ONLY THAT 3 YEARS AGO THEY TOLD ME THAT THE COMPANY HAD CHANGED HANDS, I CALLED THEN TO GET CONFIRMATION BUT JUST CUT ME OFF.
IF THAT WAS GENUINELY TRUE A LITTLE EMAIL INFORMING ME WOULD HAVE HAD THE REVIEW WITHDRAWN.
THEY HAVEN'T CHANGED, STAY WELL WELL CLEAR.
I EMAILED THEM MY NUMBER SO THEY COULD CALL ME, LUCKY I NEVER HELD MY BREATH.
OH BY THE WAY I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS TAKEN THEM TO COURT AND ARE EXPERTS AT PLAYING THAT GAME.
Ok Westland what is the other side of the story?
