Bought a SUZSUKI from Reading branch

Bought a SUZSUKI from Reading branch. IRINA was the sales person who was very helpful and went beyond her role responding to emails after office hours. She was very knowledgeable and is a true asset to the company. Very happy with the customer service received.

WLMG Eastcote

Josh, the salesperson was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient. Very professional and made whole process a pleasure. I had never considered an MG before but I am now a convert, excellent products with lots of extras.

Shocking behaviour from service department - do not answer phone or emails. I went in person only to have a very sarcastic response. I would say stay well clear of this dealership - they really could not care less

Service Dept do not pick up the phone…Improvements needed in Service Dept.

Service Dept do not pick up the phone and the only system I have discovered is to connect with Sales Dept who will pass a message.
I purchased a new Suzuki it came with the DAB Radio not working. After 4 visits to the dealership they were unable to cure the problem. ( Car returned to me with scratched wing mirror) spare part ordered and fitted.
I contacted Suzuki Head office regarding the DAB issue and I was advised to book the car in to the Service Dept of WLMG Reading for the system update . After a very long time trying to speak with the Service Dept they advised that they would need the car for a whole day but did not have a loan car available. Arrangements were made for a member of their team to collect the car from my home at 08:00 and take it to the Dealership for the work to be carried out. Joy of joys nobody turned up !
I contacted them again and apparently the member of staff forgot that the collection was arranged.
Very unhappy customer. Not a good experience when purchasing a new vehicle.

Very poor after sales

Very poor after sales, try getting through to the service department Alfa Romeo in Reading, it’s impossible, I’ve left it weeks before trying again and still the same, no reply. Call the sales number they answer straight away!!! Have gone to another dealer who incidentally picked after 3 rings!!!

Going above and beyond

The staff were friendly and really helpful in helping me source my new car at short notice after my existing car was written off following a road accident. A lead time that could have been 4 months was reduced to just two weeks as they managed to locate an existing car meeting my spec. Irene and Jas really did a great job in keeping me updated and sorting things out … and the car …. Wow.

WLMG Reading

WLMG Reading, Absolute disgrace. They do not answer calls, never return calls and service is pathetic. You complain it to their manager who is even much worse. Head Office knows it but won't do much. They do however give you call to see how was their service and if you complain they don't log it and disappear

Apparently a company that does not want to sell cars.

Visited the showroom with my brother as he is looking to buy an MG4. I was looking at the MG5 for myself.
We spent 10 minutes or so in the showroom without any acknowledgement of our existence by the staff.
Even as we left a member of staff walking towards us did not attempt to engage us in conversation.
We will not be returning to Wlmg and another, less local, dealership will receive our business.

If I could give 0 out of 5 I would shocking experience at WLMG Ruislip. Looks like this lady has had a similar experience - here is her reviewWhen I opted to make an MG HS my next motability vehicle. I was delighted with how the dealership placed the order back in September 2021. My car arrived in July 2022 and I had it 2 weeks before the infotainment system failed. I brought it along to the service centre in Ruislip August 2022. It has been there ever since I have constantly called only to be told that the software update has failed for the umpteenth time. MG are not replacing the unit and I am expected to just accept this. Customer Service, communication and basic consideration are missing from the service centre and head office. I wouldn't recommend this car and company if they were the last on earth. Their empty words and dismissive attitude towards complaints is astounding. This is my experience- My dads car was booked in for the same issue , but before this was booked in for a service , never got collected booked in for the above issue - before this I took it down to them and was told that it would need a part , was booked in never got collected . Finally booked in again said what is the issue with the car ??? Already brought it to you , had the car for 5 days no communication at all , I had to keeping ringing which was very painfully as you either get no answer or goes straight to answer phone , got the car back and guess what we have to wait fir a part 5-10 days apparently , A whole week has gone by and we heard nothing when I asked to be kept Informed and the engine management light is on , was this serviced ??? So having a full time job and trying to sort this for my elderly father my sister called them and guess what , she was told by the person she spoke that there is no information about the part on systemWhen I opted to make an MG HS my next motability vehicle. There is nowhere on the website to log a complaint either . Has the part even been ordered , I kid you not appalling service.And to top this off the car was returned minus the key to my dads steering lock . This will all be put into a formal complaint enough is enough now , some needs to monitor what is happening here it’s just not good enough .

Thanks…

Came in today at 3:30pm for a chit chat and met with AJ. He spent time with me and gave me knowledge on Ev’s even though I have a Tesla on order but he still treated me as a potential buyer. He worked out few pro’s and con’s and worked out my savings per month if I go for an EV vs Hybrid. Thanks AJ and hopefully I’ll be back soon If I cancel my order with Tesla.

Appalling customer service

Absolutely appalling service from WLMG Reading. Brought my first purchase of a car a few months ago, and couldn't be more disappointed. Car came without MOT certificate, Jack, Brace, Locking wheel nuts, and handbook. Only after contacting a garage myself and driving 80 mins to get it fixed have I eventually got my locking wheel nuts (4 months later). Despite countless reassurances from WLMG staff, I still haven't received anything else and they've even stopped replying to my email enquiries. Completely regret buying from this company, as they've made what should have been a exciting purchase into a very stressful one.

I have contacted wlmg twice now to book my new car in for a service and both times they have failed to answer any of my requests or get my car booked in. When I asked to speak to manager. Non we’re available. Terrible service avoid

MG HS 2022 - Fault

My car arrived in July 2022 and I had it 2 weeks before the infotainment system failed. I brought it along to the service centre in Ruislip August 2022. Fantastic service from Irina

Fantastic service from Irina at the Reading branch when purchasing a new Suzuki.

Feeling positive about buying from Wlmg High Wycombe

We bought a used Kia Sportage from Mlmg Kia High Wycombe. The service we received from Ilyas was very professional, helpful and could not be faulted. He sorted out all of the paper/online work so that our purchase and sale took no time.We part exchanged our old car and Ilyas did an extra trip to our house to drop off some things we had accidentally left in it.

I have use for my Mg car service when I…

I have use for my Mg car service when I went to use first time had good experience staff was helpful. A moth later when I service my car I had head light issues was urgent problem went there. Manager was unreal very disappointed he s name was Ryan ( Manager’ yeah right 👎 ) very rude and aggressive couldn’t believe it. I had to force to help me out.I pay don’t want nothing free to be done shame. Date might not correct because I can’t find exact date .Wlmg in Ruislip . I will not use this firm if people like this. 👎
