I purchased a cue and have had a problem with it and sent a email 1 week ago and a video of the cue and to date not a response the cue in hot weather warps and is not good I the timber was ro be the best of the best but not happy at all
With what's been supplied and would be very careful for anyone to purchase sight unseen

Maybe if you sent a info pack on how to maintain cue when you sell one it may not of happened maybe in future think of the customer's needs not money in the bank

It's on my site under cue maintenance and has been for many years. Toilets don't come with toilet paper 🧻. If I did that I would also need to send a video on how to change a tip, stun, screw back and how to knock in a hundred break.

My opinion is not use this company at all they helped gave advise resolve the problem but not very nice manner after text and there reply to my issue
They did try to call how ever I asked for all correspondence in writing

It really can’t get much better than here. Wouldn’t shop anywhere else.

I ordered the cue with the illusion that it was in stock. After paying the circa $330 in full, I was advised that low and behold the last cause was just sold before my order, So I would need to wait 2 weeks for delivery. Not a great start, but I accepted the delay at face value. I received the cue and immediately rolled it on a slate table to check straightness (as done as a final quality check by Peradon in their production video). To my dismay, the brass tip ferrule was not straight. I sent an email to Mike at World Cue Sports expecting a resolution, but instead, I got told that I was mistaken and the cue was perfect as checked by him prior to dispatching. I was also told that no cue is straight and that rolling the cue on a slate bed is not a method for checking straightness. I guess the oldest cue manufacturer in the world is wrong to use this as a quality checking process. So I guess that means I am stupid and blind. Oh well, another great example of arrogance clouding judgement and although I am annoyed that I paid such money for a cue I am not happy with, writing the truth about my experience is somewhat satisfying. Below is the correspondence between Mike and me:
Hi Mike, I received my cue on Friday. Thank you. After checking the cue on a slate based table I have noticed that although the cue shaft is straight, the tip is not. It seems that the brass ferrule and subsequently the tip is not true. Not something I'd expect from a cue at this level. I'm surprised that it got past quality control at Peradon and equally surprised that the cue was not checked by World Cue Sports prior to dispatching. Disappointing. To wait two weeks for something only to find this is not very good.

How are you going to resolve this?

hi Adam,

I check every cue and it was fine before leaving.
If you’re checking on a slate table you can’t roll over joints on a full size table.
Also, this is not the way to check a cue if you look online.
Everyone does this but the true way is sighting like a gun and turning.
Cues aren’t ever straight tapered.
Also, if its raining wait for the weather to change as its wood and also freight and climate also changes cues.

My only gripe is the postage to expensive if it’s costing that much to send stuff you sending it with the wrong courier. If people are spending over &
$100 postage should be free .

I recently purchased a Cue Creator cue from World Cue Sports. The whole experience was very positive. In the shop Mike took the time to assess the dimensions and optimal weight for the new cue and he then completed the online order. A $200 dollar deposit was made and I was informed promptly when the cue arrived from the USA. It was delivered to Armidale and arrived in immaculate condition as promised. The cue is made to a very high standard it plays nicely and has been admired by several club members here. The service provided by Mike Sharp and World Cue Sports was exceptional.

Ordered a McDermott cue. Everything was done quickly and owner was happy to communicate at all times!
