Parts Didn't Arrive

Parts ordered for Mercedes Sprinter didn't arrive.
Tracking shows that they got as far as the courier sorting centre, but were returned to Woxparts.
More than 3 months later, I've asked for the order to be cancelled and refunded, after having to make alternative arrangements.
I've been told that they'll send via a different courier, but this is of no use, as I had to change my plans following the unreasonably long delay.

Advice for a good purchase

I bought parts for AUDI A4 at WOXPART, but the part was lost during transport. After a few days, the sales manager contacted me explaining the situation, offering the option of canceling with a refund or waiting for the parts to be shipped.
I advise everyone, before making the purchase, to contact the sales person to find out about the availability of the part offer.

Original Mercedes part.

I had been searching a long time for a very hard to find part for my classic Mercedes. I'm greatful to Woxparts who didn't give up on me and found exactly what i needed. Delivery the day after order is really something.

Additional Shipping Charges

I've only given this company 1 star because there is no option to give them -5 star. I ordered a replacement bumper for a VW Polo GTI. 9 days after ordering I contracted them as the item had not been dispatched. They told me I had to pay an additional 150 Euros on top the delivery charge I'd already paid at checkout as the item was classed as long.

All it says on their website is contact us if you are ordering a long/wide/heavy part, however it doesn't give you any indication of the weights and dimensions these limits refer to and, as mentioned, it stated a delivery charge at checkout so I assumed that these limits did not apply to the item I was buying.

They did not contact me before taking my initial payments to let me know there would be an additional charge that amounted to 60% of the cost of the part I ordered. After many emails and a phone call to them they reduced the additional delivery charge to 110 Euros, however, I've still ended up paying more for the bumper than I would have from my local VW dealership and have has to wait 3 weeks to receive it.

They are based in Latvia so there's always going to be a delay in receiving parts and costs for shipping.

You should also be aware that there is now import duty to pay on goods from Latvia, I was totally unaware of this, my bad, but to avoid falling into the same trap please also factor this in when considering the costs of goods from Woxparts. Around 2 weeks after receiving the bumpers I was sent an invoice from FedEx for £93 (approx 40% of the initial price quoted for the goods). This now means I paid around £100 more for the bumper than I would have done from VW and at no time was I ever told about this by Woxparts.

Please check delivery costs, lead times and import tax before buying anything from this company. They are extremely unprofessional and the bumper turned out almost 30% more expensive than buying from a VW dealer taking 3 weeks, to the day, to arrive. I won't be buying from them again!

The situation occurred due to a misunderstanding about the size of the part.
An option was also offered to call a courier from the client's side, for which a refusal was received. Unfortunately, due to the non-standard dimensions of the parts, the delivery amount cannot be calculated by the program exactly, which is why we always ask our customers to contact us before placing an order for such parts.
