We had Steve 1st Time Fix replace our 30 year old…
We had Steve replace our 30 year old boiler replace a radiator and remove another and it’s pipe work. He also replaced the pump, the diverter valve and upgraded the pipe work In the airing cupboard. All carried out efficiently clean and tidy and left house clean removing all removed items. Competitive price very good workmanship and happy to recommend to others and we will use his services again

We are delighted with the service of 1st Time Fix. A reminder was given to us that the system was due for a service, an appointment agreed and we were kept up to date even to the point where we were informed that the technician was en route. The work was carried out with minimal disruption and in a very clean and tidy fashion. Definitely five star service.

Excellent work carried out on a boiler replacement
Excellent work carried out on my parents’ bungalow to replace a boiler and install a shower. Professional, honest and reliable. Even when little problems popped up, Stephen always ensured I was aware of what was going on, and suggested best ways dealing with them. He clearly knows what he is doing, and that instils confidence in us.
Furthermore, whilst the COVID pandemic hit right in the middle of the work he was carrying out, he made sure sure to contact me and arrange a time to come around at my convenience to finish the work once lock down restrictions were eased.
I will definitely use his services again, and couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

We would not hesitate to use 1st Time Fix again. After having troubles with a few of our radiators; one that wouldn’t work at all and a couple which were inoperable due to broken thermostat valves, Stephen first came out to look at the issues before arranging a day to come and complete the job. Stephen completed the job thoroughly, at a very reasonable price, a very clean worker and contacted us after completion to ensure everything was working correctly.

I can highly recommend Stephen at 1st Time fix.
I used to pay an energy company for my boiler cover. Never again. Last year when I was left without heating for a week when the temperature outside was minus 7, Stephen didn’t hesitate to come out and give me a second opinion on my boiler.
This visit Stephen was half an hour early. Supplied and fitted a new shower. Serviced my boiler and spotted one of the rubber tubes inside the boiler had perished. Also spotted a water leak on the pump the so called energy company said was fine last time they visited , even though they knew it was leaking.
I’m really pleased with the price charged and the service was above and beyond ! My family are using 1st Time Fix aswell now.

Wouldnt bother with 1st time fix…
Wouldnt bother with 1st time fix again.Asked to move some pipes and just ignores you. Hes only intrested in getting big installation jobs.
On the installation he did for me was rushed. Gas fitter melted plastic pipes with blow torch rather than use plastic weld cement. Also burnt loads of wood work because he couldnt be bothered to protect it. Because the system wasnt power flushed when the installation was finished debris in the pipes is making such a loud noise that weve had to switch the bedroom radiator off.We feel cheated because we paid out our hard earned saving on this rush job

Im very confused & disappointed that you feel this way Glynn. As you know I'm a small family run business & explained that I was really busy at the time you contacted me to take a look at the additional work you wanted me to carry out. I do apologise that I couldn't get to you within the expectations you had. I have to prioritise my work load with regards to emergencies & the vulnerable.
With regards to your comments above:
Chris the gas fitter who carried out your boiler swap is very competent & experienced in his work & I believe went the extra mile when carrying out your work, in fact I remember how pleased you were with Chris's work, especially when he painted the the wall where the old boiler flue came out, capped off an old gas pipe in your kitchen at no extra cost & I remember he explained what he was doing with regards to the flush demonstrating the change in colour of the water as he isolated individual radiators to ensure the entire system was clean.
The scorched marks on the already ply lined wall were existing from the original boiler install, with regards to melting plastic pipes together, I'm not sure what you mean there as we only solvent weld or push fit all our condensate pipe as a requirement of both the manufacturers & gas safe.
With regards to the bedroom radiator as I explained when I commissioned the system, the noise you can hear is the water passing through the valve as it has been balanced correctly to ensure the heat gets to the radiators downstairs where you need your heat more so, I explained & offered to adjust the valve but you were happy once id explained, if this was still an issue or if you had any questions or queries with regards the work carried out then I recommend contacting me so that I can adjust the valve as was offered originally.
I believe you have taken to Trustpilot to try to tarnish my reputation just because I couldn't get to you when you wanted me there. What you need to understand is i'm a small business, i have a young family, the fact that your only available after 6pm makes it difficult sometimes for me to meet your demands, as well as working 6 days a week & being a father.
I have tried to contact you numerous times via text and telephone call regarding the additional work you want me to do but you are not responding or answering, if you could please get in touch I will gladly address any of your concerns.
