Having read reviews indicating delays & lack of stock, I phoned before ordering & received good service. Having been told that the frames had to come from a supplier & might give a 7-10 day delay, I placed the order. 1 month later (to the day) they arrived, so late, but both pairs appear to be well made. As the total cost was less than that to reglaze an existing pair through my local opticians, I am overall happy & would recommend but only if you are ok to wait longer than informed.

Iordered two pairs of glasses one reading one distance for my husband. After a couple of weeks the lenses on the reading glasses cracked all around the frame. I sent them back (I had to pay the postage). I finally after a few weeks had the lenses replaced. After another few weeks the same thing happened again. I ordered different frames as they reckoned this might be the problem, this was the middle of August and I have phoned numerous times with the promise of return calls which never happen and after five weeks still don't have my reading glasses. Absolutely appalled, as glasses are an everyday need not a luxury.
I have spent years purchasing my glasses online and never had a problem..... Then I try 2for1glasses which seemingly runs under a few names......I placed my initial order three weeks ago in that time I've had to call them several times for updates to change frames because 'in stock' products are not in stock. Even when they themselves confirm they are.
In the time it's taken them to so far not even dispatch my order they are still 'acquiring frames and lenses' another online company has made me some and I've been wearing them for over a week. Because I need glasses! They are an essential item.
Oh and to make it all better their contact number is one which has run up a £10 additional cost on my phone bill. So no glasses and an extra bill and the cost of buying extra ones in the interim. And.....
I'm still waiting to know if I shall ever receive my glasses.
I have to say the staff that answer the phones are however lovely and polite. The companies only saving grace.
I will never use this company again. And unlike the many other times when people have complimented my glasses and I've passed on the websites name I shall not be doing that with this one.....that is of course subject to me receiving them at all.

I've ordered some Ray-Ban glasses and sunglasses earlier this month. I was provided with regular email updates and received a tracking number once they were sent. The glasses are a perfect genuine pair of glasses that I'm extremely happy with!
I ordered 2 pairs and received an email confirming everything received and I continued to check my order frequently. After ten days I called to chase up my glasses to be told sometimes it may take a bit longer and not to worry. When another week passes and I call again I'm informed that because they thought my prescription was incorrect they hadn't made it for me and I should have received an email informing me of this. Needless to say there was no email and my order status stated everything was correct and progressing fine and the lady could not see why I wasn't informed the first time I rang. After almost 3 weeks numerous phone calls and incompetence I have requested a refund which should hopefully not take to long to process.
Placed an order for 2 pairs of glasses then, after reading the reviews on here, decided to email them to check availability of the frames. They told me one pair was discontinued and that I should select a different second pair. As they had the first pair I wanted, this didn't really bother me too much. I selected a different second pair and was told that everything would be dispatched to me within 7-10 working days.
I have now emailed them 3 weeks later to see why I still haven't received a confirmation of dispatch. They then informed me that my original frames were out of stock.
Why they waited 3 weeks for ME to email THEM, I have no idea. I don't think they would have contacted me at all to be honest. So now I will go order from somewhere else and wait another 3 weeks...but at least this time I will have glasses by the end of it!
Avoid like the plague.

Everything was great. Having been on holiday, I'm now sending them back to be glazed with my prescription - so they will be even more useful next time.
I ordered some prescription sunglasses from 241glasses. Before I ordered I called to check that the frames were in stock and how long it would take to receive. I was advised 7-10 working days. I patiently waited and contacted them for an update as they had received the lenses and not the frames. A couple of days later they email to say that the frames are actually out of stock and are on backorder. I am now left with no prescription sunglasses and going on holiday in a few days.
Thanks so much for that! And dont list your frames as in stock on your website! Shocking!
I ordered two pairs of sunglasses for 39.95. I received a confirmation email straight away and was able to track my order. Arrived after exactly two weeks. Will definitely use again. 5*
So after ordering my glasses - I went to have a little look online to see what people thought of the company (common sense would tell you to do it the other way around, but yeah) and obviously after stumbling on these reviews became highly concerned that I'd just coughed up £100 for no glasses. After this, I emailed the company (they were taking longer than anticipated) and the staff were just so lovely and helpful. Obviously my mind wasn't put to rest as I still didn't have my glasses, but they assured me they would be dispatched within 2 days, which they were and they arrived this morning. Made up with them as they were such bargins, they do take a bit longer than they say to get them to you, but for the price, and the helpful staff, I'd really say it's worth it !!!
I called the customer service number of this company to make sure they had the frames I requested. After they confirmed that the frames were available and in stock I have not heard from them for few days. Today I received an email saying that the frames I selected were not available and that I have to wait up to 4 weeks to receive them! What an awful service..
Also, they overcharged my bank account on the order and they now say that I will not be able to receive my money back until the order is complete!
What a waste of time and money! Never again!
Told me I would be emailed countless times... Never did and had to phone to chase up information. This was after a pair of frames I ordered was out of stock.. So ordered new ones. Was told if my frames came in on a certain day(which they did) I could pay for next day pre 9am delivery.... So paid it and got confirmation my glasses would be delivered on Friday.. Phoned up 2for1 at 10am to ask them where the glasses were... To be told they would be here on the Saturday 100% before 9am... It is now 19:30 Saturday and I sit here waiting for the glasses... I agree with one of the reviewers.. Too good to be true.. Cheap glasses but pure incompetence when it comes to actually getting the product to you.
Really poor experience with this company, would not recommend. Directly after receiving the automated receipt of order from them the initial contact I had with the company (the first working day after placing the order was to inform me that one of the frames I had order was temporarily out of stock. Seven days later I received an email to inform me that there was damage to one of my lenses so delivery would be delayed, but within the 10 days quoted. Then after contacting the company for an update on day twelve I was informed that there was another issue with the lenses, no delivery date provided 15 days and still waiting.
Use another company.
When I first ordered I saw all the bad reviews on here and hadn't received a confirmation email for my order so posted a bad review. I was immediately contacted to say the order was being processed and the customer service was great. I have just received my order on the 11th working day, sent out on the 9th working day, and the quality is amazing. I went for transition lenses which comes with the certificate of authenticity and a crizal coating which is probably why my glasses took them right to the end of their delivery time. I would definitely order from them again!

i am still waiting for my glasses 3 weeks after my order and it was only after i contacted the company they told me the frames were out of stock (despite no word of this on the website). do not order from this company if you are in a rush. my prescription has changed so i really need the glasses as i starting to suffer headaches. i would not recommend this company at all.
my order number is 0021217. this seems to be your stock response to every bad review you receive on this site! i think you should know why i gave you a bad review. it is because it was only after i had contacted you after the 5-10 day recommended delivery time that you realised neither of the frames i had ordered were in stock. then the frames had to be ordered from a third party supplier. even then only one pair could be found so i dread to think how long the other pair will take! this is serious mis-representation on your behalf. advertising glasses that you do not have in stock and even worse not realising they are not in stock until the customer makes you aware of the fact that the advertised delivery time has elapsed. rest assured i will not be using or recommending your site again.

I was a bit wary of ordering given below reviews but as I wasn't in desperate need went for it anyway as the price was excellent. To my delight and surprise, both pairs of glasses arrived 8 days after ordering. Prescription is perfect, coatings look good and glasses are exactly as I'd chosen with original branded cases and cloths. I did phone at the beginning as I was worried I'd mistyped my prescription and phones were answered speedily and everything dealt with well. Would definitely use again.
Similar experiences to the below reviews to be honest. Originally sent my order through in December and I've only now been told that the glasses were ready for dispatch in February. It's disappointing really. They display a huge range on their website but it seems clear that stock control must be an issue. 2 weeks after my initial order I was informed that the manufacturer no longer produced my selection and to make another choice, which I did. I also mentioned that as this was only the 'option/free' pair of sunglasses, that they should focus on getting my main order (glasses) dispatched as soon as possible (but this advice was clearly not heeded). I was then informed that my second choice selection was also unavailable and that I had to make another selection. After not hearing from the any representative from 2for1glasses I called again for an update this week when I was finally told that my delivery was ready for dispatch. Whilst waiting over a month I've not received an apology for any of the delays or a real explanation as to the causes. Although the prices are obviously quite competitive, I'd be weary about recommending 2for1glasses to anyone.
**UPDATE** It get's worse! Still awaiting my goods, I've phoned to check the whereabouts and have been advised that my glasses have already been delivered and signed for, but they can't tell me the address that this has been delivered to. Only that my package has been signed to someone called "Andy". Great. In a block of flats with hundreds of people, I've been sent on a wild goose chase. Literally the worst online purchase I've ever made....
