Awful

Awful. For your own safety do not use. Driver attempted to kick us out half way through the journey due to making a mistake and picking up the wrong people (even after checking our transfer documentation). The driver then ran around the road stopping drivers and asking them to take us to the airport. When they refused the driver noticed a bus pull up he then cut up oncoming traffic and demanded we leave the car and get on the bus for 10 Turkish lira and it would take us to the airport.

I refused and demanded to be taken to the airport. When the driver finally gave in and decided to continue with the journey to the airport he shouted several times in Turkish and continued to speak on the phone whilst driving. Upon getting to the airport he began to demand £70 in English or lira because he had lost out because of the mistake he had made. Became rude and abusive when I refused, seeing as I had already paid for this transfer.

I would not take the risk and book with this company again and I would strongly urge others to avoid.

Not sure I got what I wanted

Needed to book a transfer in Tenerife for 13 people including a child of 12 months. Whilst the website mentions child seats and offers a link, I don’t think I was successful in booking one as no charge was added to the cost. This could lead to an embarrassing situation upon arrival to collect our transfer

No complaints from us

No complaints from us! Waiting at airport on arrival easy to locate and found our transfer coach within minutes.
Departure was fine, text advising us of collection time. Driver was on time and got us back to the airport promptly.

Transfer from Faro to Albufeira

Transfer from Faro to Albufeira
Having used Hoppa many times in the past, although not recently. I decided to book a transfer from Faro to Albufeira expecting it to be as good as I've had in the past.
Booking was easy and the price reasonable, however the service provided was awful.
Upon arrival in Faro, we checked in with GreenBus and then waited around 2 hours for the taxi, which had we not complained 3 times may well have been much longer. The desk clerks didn't have a clue what they were doing and the method of queuing people was a joke.
The return was no better, having been advised pick up would be 17:55, it took a call to the emergency line (10 minutes to answer) and a further 15 minutes of hanging on before our transfer was confirmed, the excuse being "the driver is not answering his phone".
Quite simply, the absolute worst case of customer service I've seen for a long time.
I complained via the web portal and received confirmation that it was being looked into and I would receive a response within 8 days. I have just received a response from Swen Nürnberger (German Rep) which not only apologised for the poor service but also offered a refund and a future discount. For me this is an acknowledgement of the poor service and a very appropriate gesture of goodwill, which I'm happy to accept.
All I hope is that the transfer I have booked from Alicante to Benidorm next month doesn't suffer from the same level of service as it was in Faro.

On the 5.10.17 ticket reference …

On the 5.10.17 ticket reference R1646077 We were collected from Bansko Bulgaria, on time. The driver used his mobile phone 4 times on the journey to the airport. once not even looking at the road. This is not acceptable. Will someone tell the driver this is against the law in England. When we were picked up on the 30.9.17. the driver was very friendly. did not speak English,but was very nice. so different to the return experience.

Misleading website

Within the last 3 days I have contacted A2B Transfers on 4 separate occasions. Twice using their online chat facility (both times I had an auto response saying nobody was available) despite the website bragging of their 24/7 service - clearly not true.

I visited the site to look for transfer from Rhodes Airport on the17th October 2017 for a collection to Lindos. The price quoted for a return journey was £105.53, I then click on the Union Jack top right of the website and clicked on the German flag. The Exact same journey, same time, date, number of passengers came in at €81.62 - Euros, not sterling. converting this there was a disparity of around €38.00 for the same journey with the same company.
I emailed A2B through the contact portal at around 10.50am on the 29th Sept 2017. I received an email saying ticket number 781010 Received and we will get back to you within 24hours. At 9.38 pm on the same day I received an email asking, Please advise the best time to contact you, from Angelique Van Der Sandt, the email did not allow me to reply as it came from NOReplyOps email address, I then put the ticket number I had into A2B's 'Mt ticket Status' and the response, my query was resolved, resolved without even speaking to me. So, again this time, I completed another query in full detail and attached images to support my query. Again I received an auto-response 781931 Received. Today, over 24hours later (which is after their dedicated response time) I input the ticket number into A2B's 'My ticket status' only to discover, yet again, my query has been resolved....???? But nobody has called or emailed.

So looking again at their site - The Contact Us page reads the following, and I would challenge anyone to point out where the contact numbers are on their site...they are non-existent ... below is verbatim from A2B's contact page talk to us.
- Whatever your query, our A2B help teams are on hand 24/7, 365 days a year to assist you. We have different help teams depending whether you have already travelled or not, so please use the links below to ensure you get hold of the right department.
If your query is urgent and relates to travel within the next 24 hours, then please call us using the numbers provided. If your query is less urgent, please complete the online form and we will usually get back to you the same day.

Well, I'm still waiting to be contacted by a company that claims to be 24/7, 365, claims to have telephone numbers for you to contact, and claims to respond to you within 24hours, and displays different prices for the same journey on the same dates, just click on the German flag top right and you get cheaper if you book with the Union Jack top right.

Overall, poor poor poor, very misleading and if anyone replies I have no doubt it will be a technical error, out of their control...or some other poor excuse for the falsehoods displayed on their website. Use this company at your own risk!

FOLLOW UP REVIEW 2 DAYS AFTER ORIGINAL POST

Dear A2B, since your response 2 days ago, I would like to acknowledge the fact my ticket status was open, briefly, but yet again it now shows resolved and I am STILL waiting for my query to be resolved after you acknowledged my complaint on here, nobody has emailed or called.

You failed answer or defend (here on trust pilot) the point I made about your 'so called' 24/7 service, responses within 24 hours or the fact there is no telephone number on your website. Trust Pilot are currently rating you 4 out 10, whilst on your website you claim the following, - We've maintained a 4.4/5 satisfaction rating with over 53364 reviews - i'd love to see the source of that information under the Freedom of Information Act.

Evidence is now mounting up that simply does not support your claim of being truly sorry. Just hollow words, and based on this, the 14 weddings plus guests we have booked in Rhodes next year will be directed to another transport supplier.

Fantastic service

I have booked many a2b transfers for myself and my clients (I am a travel agent). They've always been on time with no problems incurred. My latest transfer was in Italy and was just faultless. I have only used the private transfers so can only comment on those but I would highly recommend.

No show early hours Barcelona airport never answered the phone when I tried calling transfer booked through travelsoon don't use them didn't even make it A it cost me a extra €100 that they said they would refund guess what they didn't I booked my transfer through travelsoon the travelsoon reference is TRVS50516/lakin/TS93954 they said they had contacted you. As you can see the reference provided by travelsoon is above if you contact them they use you for there transfers it takes along time to get a good reputation and five minutes to get a bad one take it up with travelsoon all I want back was my €100 refund I sent the receipt to travelsoon contact them and quote the above reference. The reference is here the references is above booked through travelsoon look hopefully you can rectify it as travelsoon didn't seem bothered is there any progress in refunding me my €100 euro taxi fair

Worst Transfer Ever. Avoid at all costs, it'll cost you if you don't.

Worst. Transfers. Ever.
Return transfers from Malta airport to Gozo August 2017.

1. Transfer from airport to ferry undertaken in 42 degree heat in filthy dirty, crowded minibus with no aircon, fans or openable windows. Driver refused to open front windows. Driver repeatedly increased volume of radio whenever anyone spoke making communication impossible.
2. Company were rude when called to obtain return pickup time shouting at me it was 'on my booking'. It was not.
3. Return transfer from hotel to ferry did not arrive at 13:15 as advised.
4. Subsequent transfer scheduled for 13:30 did not arrive
5. After significant chasing transfer eventually arrived at 14:00.
6. Transfer from ferry to airport did not arrive. I was advised to 'take a taxi' and 'claim it back'. Still waiting on refund.
7. Staff were abusive on every contact. I was shouted at on numerous occasions for 'being in the wrong place' i.e. still at the agreed collection point because they hadn't arrived, and 'not having the information' - that being information they had not provided.
8. Cost of ferry was not included in transfer. This was not made clear at time of booking

This was the worst transfer experience I have ever had. We almost missed our flights and it cost us a lot of extra money for the privilege. Do not use under any circumstances.

A dishonest transfer company that you must avoid.

We booked their "Speedy Shuttle" service to transfer us to our hotel in Ixia, Rhodes. After waiting in the bus for over an hour for other passengers (maximum wait was supposed to be 45 mins) we were told by the A2Btransfers representative to leave the bus as there were flight delays for other passengers. We protested to no avail.
We were then instructed by the representative to take a taxi to the hotel and reclaim the fare. The taxi cost us 20 euros. Despite sending them a receipt for the taxi fare A2Btransfers said they could not see the print and refused to refund the cost. They also advised our travel agent that we chose to take a taxi - a blatant lie.
This is a dishonest company with a terrible track record in customer service judging by the reviews here. If you do not want to be scammed, use another transfer service. You have been warned.

Never use this company

Never use this company. We have just returned from Fuerteventura, both transfers i.e. from the airport and to the airport, had problems. We were dropped off a good way from the hotel, with disabled child in a wheelchair and four suitcases, and left to find the hotel. Hotel were fabulous we should have been in the Labranda Aloe but when we finally found them, they said that as the road was being dug up outside the hotel, they would get us a taxi to their sister hotel. Return journey, we were told they couldn't pick us up from new hotel. Again had to trail bags etc to different place, and no transfer. Had to pay for a Taxi to airport.

Antayla - Turkey.

Flew to antayla in turkey; and I booked the express transfer we were put on a coach and then told to move to another one. The driver got lost on the way to the resort and I had to direct him to the hotel; thankfully I've been before and know the area. Feel sorry for those who had never been before. They are probably still driving round in circles. On return I was at the pick up point 15 mins prior to arrival; at 22:30 there was no sign of the coach so I called the hotline where I was kept on hold for 10 mins and then I was disconnected. I then got the hotel to phone the emergency hotline just as they did the coach arrived. I said to him that my pick up time was 22:10 which he pointed at the clock in the coach which sure enough said that time however it was actually 22:45 when I showed him the time on my phone he shrugged his shoulders. He then turned off the coach as went inside the hotel for 5 mins and then came back with a cup and then sat for a further 5 mins in the coach before taking off. I emailed the company after I returned home to Scotland and they have agreed to refund my my expenses for the phone bill and 50% of my transfer bill; when I get this who knows. But they have admitted liability for this.
