Been really happy with the process as a whole. Been kept fully up to date by the sales team and they even helped me with negotiating an offer on my next property through a different agent. Would 100% recommend them.

Abbot Fox have been really good but I would like to forewarn anyone dealing with Abbot Fox to be very mindful of if they manage the propert or just the listings. I rented a property advertised by Abbot Fox but through Norwich Elite Lettings managed by Elaine Hunter. There is no website for Norwich Elite Lettings. Elaine Hunter is the worst landlady you could have the misfortune of having. Never replies to calls or emails. When moving in the letterbox needed a key to open it. We were never given the key. Meter readings couldn't be accessed as Ms. Hunter is the only person with a key and as she is uncontactable I didn't once manage to get a meter reading. So all bills were estimated despite repeated requests.

We moved into one of the flats owned by Ms Hunter and you need a keyfob to enter the building we once again never recieved the second key fob to access the building.

Upon checkout we arranged a day and time for the keys to be collected and the check out to be done. Ms Hunter did not even bother to show up! So i had the keys for 3 days after our tenancy expired and heard nothing from the landlady.

I took the keys back to Abbot Fox personally and handed them in.

Then waited and waited and waited. No checkout was ever complete and took over a month to get the deposit released.

The flat was occupied within a week.

Abbot Fox did try to do all they can to contact the landlady but Mrs Hunter was awful very neglectful and a terrible Landlady. So just be aware Abbot Fox are good but if they don't "manage" the property you may end up with a 1 star landlady like Mrs Elaine Hunter of Nellettings (Norwich Elite Lettings)

If I could leave a 0 I would. My partner lived in a property managed by Abbot fox. They entered her flat illegally to do 'repairs', we logged repairs several times and they never dealt with them, we moved out in November and they still haven't returned the security deposit. Furthermore, their cowboy landlord tried charging for a professional clean when we spent £120 on one before leaving the property. They also charged us for picture hooks they told us not to remove and, furthermore, they are trying to charge full damages for a towel rail that we logged the repair of and they never fixed. They are truly the worst estate agents in the Norfolk area and I have no idea how they haven't been shut down. I strongly recommend you avoid this business and look elsewhere, if you have already gone with them be sure to photograph everything and ensure that your deposit is secure/seek legal advice. I have spoken to several members of Abbot Fox regarding these issues since they began and still they have offered no support or justifications. The deposit scheme they use is the worst I have ever known and when we challenged these despicable charges they blocked us out of the account without any way to contact them. Please avoid this business and don't make our mistakes which currently has cost us over £1000.

We had a great experience of AbbotFox in Norwich.
Our initial negotiations when buying the property were handled promptly and effectively.
During the process of buying the house, Elaine provided excellent info and liaised with the vendors to ensure both parties were well informed. I felt we built up a good relationship despite the difficulties if buying during lookdown.
The 'welcome to your new home' bottle of fizz when we collected the keys was a lovely gesture.
I'd definitely recommend AbbotFox.

Absent throughout application process. Vague and hard to get hold of.

Left waiting outside flat on moving day for hours. They have no idea where my keys are or when they will arrive. Zero help on the phone. Left to cross my fingers and hope.

As a first time buyer my purchase was through Abbot Fox. All viewings were arranged very quickly and to suit me. Even multiple viewings of the same property was no problem. Abbott Fox have been managing my rental property for four years.Their service has been second to none throughout,quickly finding and vetting new tenants to the highest standards.They have efficiently and expertly dealt with any issues with the property.All staff have been brilliant but I must especially mention Roma whose outstanding efforts meant I quickly got new tenants without fuss,just excellent service throughout.Arthur
