A great experience throughout

2nd service experience at Acorn Crewe
Decided to use Acorn @Crewe for the vehicles 2nd service. I chose Furrows at Shrewsbury for the 1st service (closest distance from home / more to do in Shrewsbury whilst waiting for the service) but received poor experience.
The Acorn booking procedure was satisfactory & on the day my overall experience was more than acceptable. My only negative comment would be to the quality of the “complimentary car wash”. The vehicle was left to dry naturally in the sunshine & consequently the bodywork/windows streaky/patchy in appearance. Maybe my customer expectation was too high when in reality I should have declined the offer & just washed the car at home, as I ended up doing. A minor point conceded, but nevertheless slightly disappointing conclusion.

Helpful and solved the problem
Wait time for my appointment for the car to be examined was about 3 weeks, and a loan car was unavailable for a further 2+ weeks. Not good, but I chose Acorn as all the other local dealers were going to take longer. Not much good if your car is off the road!!! They contacted me twice to check I was still going, which is good for making sure all slots were filled. Staff were courteous if rushed, and the problem was solved it would seem, although the feedback on the issues was less than fully satisfactory so I'm not 100% confident in it. I asked to see the technician who did the work and was not allowed to. They washed and cleaned the car (I had done so just before bringing it in! Waste of their time.)
