Payment made but no delivery!
I ordered a garden bench, received confirmation saying they would notify me when the bench had been sent, and AR took payment from my Visa account. I then heard nothing at all from them. I allowed the full delivery period to elapse and then contacted them to find out what had happened. They told me the bench had been delivered and showed me a photograph of a package outside someone else's house! Since then, I have not been able to get any assurance that the bench will be delivered and have not even received any apology. I have contacted the delivery company but they say they can't resolve the issue unless AR raises it with them, so I am stuck having spent £400 and nothing to show for it.

Delivery of my garden table and chairs…
Delivery of my garden table and chairs arrived on time. Only niggle was the driver wasn't willing to take the pallet into my back garden. I live on my own and so am not able to manage it without help. I'm hoping my neighbour can help me. I have since ordered a cover for the table on the phone. Very helpful person I dealt with there.

Companion seats.
Ordered two Companion seats although only needed one, but coundt find any chsirs to match so ordered two and didn't fit the table.

My problem raised with you a couple of weeks ago is still unresolved. I complied with all you asked for. You went quiet and I had to get back in touch to see what is happening.
The replacement canopy was £220 and looks worse, as it is so ill fitting, than another canopy we bought for something else for £25!!!!! I dont understand it. When I ordered it you said it was a high end product. Very unhappy about this.

I purchased an Alexander Rose 2.7m…
I purchased an Alexander Rose 2.7m Hardwood Round Garden Parasol - Taupe back at the end of April 2023 plus the marble base. A total of £182.97
I used it for the 2023 summer and not much at all in the disastrous summer of 2024
2 weeks ago I tried to open the parasol, just pulling the cable down as usual and it broke in half landing on my head in the middle of a lunch with friends. Fortunately I was only slightly bruised in my face.
Anyhow I contacted the website I purchased your product from to ask them to send you some pictures of the broken pole. They in turn have responded stating the Alexander Rose customer services has deemed the product I bought out of warranty
We have owned a set of carver chairs and circular Alexander Rose table for 20 years and they are still in great condition.
We expected the parasol to be of a similar standard as your Company has a great reputation for quality, however in this instance something has gone very wrong.
Hardwood poles should be lasting many years, we house the parasol indoors for the majority of the year, so I can only come to one conclusion, and that is this product is faulty, in fact very faulty, and not fit for purpose.
I cannot believe a Company that has built it’s reputation on quality can expect a customer to accept that a product 2 months out of warranty is justified in not replacing it. I also cannot believe your Company makes a product that will only last for 2 years. If indeed this is true then perhaps I could at least request a replacement pole from the top of the parasol to the marble base and I will have a carpenter install it.

Fair products, delivery and customer service could be better
Bought 2 parasols of different design but matching colours. Generally pleased with the quality of the parasols. However, delivery driver didn't want to lift the 50kg base off the lorry himself so I had to do it. Unfortunately the parasol covers were different colours - one very light and one grey - as small issue perhaps but frustrating as we had hoped that a company like Alexander Rose would nail this attention to detail given the money spent. I contacted customer services who were pretty unhelpful and blamed the factory.
