They took good pictures before I took the car and explained i should to the same. They explained about the gas. The insurance on this small vehicle wasn't so bad but Expedia did say it was included so I think the company should have a chat with them. They were very easy to deal with. The car I asked for was ready and I dont know how they did it but they found me at the airport where I was so nervous. I really appreciated that. I would of gave 5 stars but the insurance on website was to be included .

Great service
The service was good, Guillermo was very kind and supportive, 10/10 in attention.
The vehicle worked great until the last day that the carplay stoped the link with the phone.
In general I had a great experience with America, the service and the car.

Competitive price and quality service
The consultation process before booking the car was very helpful. I also appreciated the friendliness of the staff when I picked up the car and when I returned it. Furthermore, the price was the best among the various companies I consulted. The car was thoroughly inspected before delivery, and there were no issues upon receipt when I identified some minor scratches or dents that were already present on the vehicle.

They give us other car because of maintenance, but was a larger car. That was good.
The time spent before the rent was a little too much, like 45 min doing paperwork.
The car was OK, there were no problems with it.
I recommend it but maybe it is not necessary to pay all the insurance, just the basic one.

Hidden terms, misleading information & unresolved $750 charge
My experience with America Car Rental raises serious concerns about transparency and customer treatment.
Despite booking what appeared to be full insurance coverage (LDW, CDW, PLI, PAI, TP), important exclusions were only disclosed at pick-up. I purchased additional coverage based on the agent’s assurance that the vehicle body was fully covered.
Following a minor incident, I was still charged $750.
To date:
No clear repair invoice or justification has been provided
No transparent breakdown of the charge
No response to multiple follow-ups for over 2 months
This is not acceptable business practice.
Unless this matter is properly clarified and documented, I will have to escalate further through formal dispute channels.
Future customers should be cautious — and consider more transparent companies such as SIXT or Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

They pick you up and drive you to office.
No hidden costs or ghost fees. Very easy process.
Staff was super friendly. Offered us info on what to do, where to go and where to eat.
Return was really quick. Got us back to airport with tons of time to spare.

When we rented a unit from América car…
When we rented a unit from América car rental company a few days ago... we drove it and after 15 min the vehicle have alert(electrical sistem) and when we driving we reporting to the check in Offices by phone call about the problem ... They take 2 hours to decided change the vehicle and after change it they inform us by text message the vehicle don't have any problem... I was send it by message video and photos in advance.
When we take the car rental ...the lady on charge Yesenia and Brenda (partner)suggest to us ..take a few minutes to fill the comment of satisfaction (5 stars)
We strongly recomended to do it at the end .... After you know the experience.
We rented the unit for 2 days.

My experience with America Car Rental was excellent. At all times, I had the support of their staff, and each one explained the extent of my insurance coverage as well as the vehicle I was renting.
The process was very fast and secure. I am leaving with an excellent impression, and they will definitely be my first choice whenever I need another vehicle in a simple and convenient way.
