Everything was great no extra fee no hassle the service was on point they make sure the shuttle was waiting for me after delay of my flight the price was too good to be true but in fact it was not a scam everything went flawless i rented from Avis, Hertz, MAS, and i paid over 3x and didn't get the service i had with America Car Rental thanks to Victor for everything looking forward to rent again with them!

Por favor no renten en este lugar! Guárdense el descorazonamiento de carros de muy mala calidad. Lo rentan hasta a veces inseguros, si se queja uno, dicen “aguanta”. Y hacen pura tranza, te echan la culpa de cómo lo rentan y después andan cobrando. Aparte me hicieron comprar el seguro y después dicen que no cubre el hecho! Tengo capturas de los daños que dicen que hicimos y capturas de cómo nos los entregaron. Nunca volveré a rentar aquí y por favor compartan para que nadie tenga que pasar por la pesadilla que se ha convertido esto!

Please, save yourself the headache of renting with these people! First, they have poor quality vehicles, when you complain, they say, “it’ll be ok”. Then when you return the vehicle, they say you damaged it and want to charge you for said damages. They also force you to buy the insurance and then don’t honor their own insurance forcing you to pay out of pocket. I have screenshots of them charging with pictures and the original picture of pickup.
Saver yourself the heartache and please spread the word so that no one has to deal with the living nightmare that this has become!

Extraordinary Customer Service from Tuxtla Gutierrez office staff, just certains damages on the rental vehicule that maybe improved Car Quality and driving experience.

Me cambiaron el coche en el último minuto para dárselo a otra persona que lo alquilaba por más días que yo. Ya había pagado el depósito, pero no les importó. Lo disfrazaron como una "mejora" para mí, pero al final me dieron un coche peor que necesitaba mantenimiento urgente, por el mismo costo. La dirección del auto estaba desviada y el aire acondicionado hacia un ruido rechinante, teniamos que esperar y e intentar varias veces al usarlo para que funcionara propiamente. Tenia varios detalles esteticos, que si bien no afectan el funcionamiento, probablemente le cobren a los usuarios pero no arreglen en tiempo. Al final llegamos a todos nuestros destinos sin problema pero con algo de incomodidad.

They changed my car on the very last minute, to gave it to another person that was renting for more days than I. I had alreade paid my deposite, but they didn't care, the disguised it as an "upgrade" for me but ending giving me a worst car with an urgent need for maintenance, and for the same price. The car's steering was off-center, and the air conditioning made a screeching noise; we had to wait and try several times to get it working properly. It had several cosmetic issues, which, while not affecting its functionality, are probably something they charge customers for but don't fix promptly. In the end, we reached all our destinations without problems, but with some discomfort.

I had a very good experience renting a vehicle from América Car Rental near the Guadalajara International Airport . In my case, I rented a Nissan V-Drive sedan at a very reasonable price, and it also included unlimited mileage, which gave me great peace of mind during my trip without worrying about extra charges.
The service at the counter was excellent. The ladies who assisted me were very kind, professional, and efficient, which made the vehicle pickup process quick and smooth.
The car was delivered clean, in good condition, and ready for the trip. Throughout the entire journey the vehicle performed very well, and I truly enjoyed the driving experience.
Overall, it was a very positive experience. I would definitely rent again from América Car Rental and recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and well-priced rental service.
