Do not use this service

Do not use this service. 1) Incredibly expensive. 2) They have shrunk my clothes - estimated cost £300. 3) Complaint / refund process dreadful. I implore you not to spend a penny in this place unless you want to shrink your entire wardrobe.

The most worse company ever

The most worse company ever , never go there if you want to have all your clothes safe . Some of my clothes they just damaged and never take any responsibility of what they did . And the finally they lost one of my wife blazers cost over £1000 and didn’t finding and end of the day the customer service department try to close that case and offer me £200 instead of £1000

So be aware of this company and never use American Dry Cleaners ever .

75 Sloane Street Branch

Very friendly and helpful team. You can get dry cleaning done anywhere, but it’s so much nicer when the people you deal with make it so easy. Also gave me a few spare coat hangers that I needed. Thank you.

Warning! Be very careful! At your own risk...

Be very careful! Sent in two jackets for the ozone cleaning and asked them to take good care of them. Received jackets back, all seemed well until I got home. One jacket, a high end flight jacket repro worth £700 had a large dual pin hole and crease right in the middle of the back. This cannot be fixed.
Needless top say it is upsetting. This 'hole' will only get worse with wear AND obviously this has negates any re-sale value.
The company offered to reimburse my cleaning fee. Thanks... What about the £700 jacket!
Sorry Sir, you present your jackets at your own risk... Good luck to you.
So, let my experience be your warning.

Don't go near them

Nothing good to be said about this company. Poor value for money. Extortionate cost for cleaning curtains and extra charge added because they were 'very dirty'. They were not. Non existent customer service. Rude, unhelpful, argumentative staff who lied about the driver trying to deliver the curtains and failed to apologise for the inconvenience of having to collect them. I will never use this company again. And would not advise anyone to do so. Appalling.

Thieves

Thieves

I had 2 misfortune interactions with them recently-
1. used their alterations service (wasn't great anyway, but that's a different case), after paying I came to collect the order, only to be told that the store manager forgot to charge for several alterations so my bill is actually double!
really poor customer service, a simple price list and clear communication could have easily resolve the situation.

2. As my membership finished, I said I do not like to renew it since they do not offer deliveries like other brands (zipjet, launderapp). The sales lady - a blonde lady said no problem, we do have a delivery service free of charge for memebers, on the basis of which I paid membership fee.
On my next visit that lady was not present and apparently the delivery service is only above 50£.. a vital that was NOT communicated when the "free delivery" was offered! I asked to cancel my membership, which they cannot do obviously..
Then I was accused by the manager store - Ali - of cheating and asking for free delivery despite allegedly being told there is a threshold. So mr Ali, your great sales lady indeed sold me a membership - well done - and she DID NOT mention any minimum spending to qualify for free delivery! calling me a liar - as clear as that - to get free delivery is one of the most ridiculous, mind blowing accusations after I spend thousands of pounds with the store over the years. a real joke.

Unfortunately didn't have the best experience

Unfortunately didn't have the best experience with this company.. They lost one of my items - a belt to my coat that I obviously cannot buy separately. Even though they reimbursed for the cleaning of the coat, my belt is still nowhere to be found, so considering the other reviews that I've read, I would bit recommend them to others.

Greedy and unethical

It is over-priced to begin with, and tries to lock-in customers with a dodgy "membership plan", but all of that could be tolerated in RBKC where everything is expensive. What is unacceptable is poor customer service and failure to remedy damage they do to your clothing.

The heavy machinery ripped two of my shirts and made the button holes unusable. They refused to fix the shirts because I didn't return them in the packaging. How does one discover that the button holes have been ripped until you put it on? They also claimed "the factory" is supposed to notify them of any damage. I have never in my 13 years living in London had a dry cleaner "factory notify me in advance" of buttons they have smashed, tears in the cotton that they have done.

Stay far away from this rip off shop!

Bad service from head office

Long story short, they lost my item of clothing and it took me around 3 months of emails and frustrating calls to receive not even half of the item's price!!!

If anything goes missing (and according to conversations with company "it is normal") be prepared to chase, chase and chase! Two days it took me just to speak to someone! Want to settle it with a shop - no can do, please fill in endless number of forms that they will lose and send them to head office!

Oh and if you do want a refund, please wait for their insurance company to respond because they are not prepared to be out out-of-pocket!
