I can’t praise the service of the staff of the Gosforth staff at Andrew Craig highly enough for the professional and friendly service we received when buying a house. We had a designated agent who dealt with our case and kept us informed throughout and I can’t praise the professionalism and patience of Alison Gadomski highly enough to have survived months of dealing with both of us .

I dealt with Natalie Meldrum for many years whilst we were landlords for a flat in Gosforth. She was always professional, timely and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and as I live in London great communication between us was essential.

Had an appointment to view a property. Got a little lost on the way so I called them to confirm the address. Waited over half an hour and nobody turned up even though they knew we were waiting at the property. Emailed to ask what had happened and was willing to arrange another viewing as we were really interested in the property but got no reply at all. So unprofessional.

I was buying my first home with Andrew Craig in Low Fell so I didn’t know a lot about how things worked. However, Nicola was extremely helpful throughout by giving me advice when I needed it and helped me with getting quotes from companies to do some needed work on the house.

Andrew Craig have let and managed my property, until recently selling for me too. Can never fault their communication and service and would happily recommend!

Landlords and tenants please avoid These crooks.

They don’t fix repairs they lie to landlords.

They try and steel bonds and make up quotes

We rented a property from Thornley Properties Ltd for over 10 years. Which is owned by Andrew Craig. They look great on the Andrew Craig website, but they remove all the bad reviews. Think again and be warned before dealing with them.
Make sure you take photos and document no matter how small the issue. Also make sure to put in writing like email to them.

10+ years of issues with our property. They did not do any maintenance to our property unless it was the usual boiler etc.
No maintenance to the outside continously having damp issues which they did nothing about we tolerated living in that home due to the area and schools. The landlord evicted a family of 4 only 1 month before Christmas saying it was just busines even though we didn't mind them putting our rent up. They had started doing work they installed a new kitchen in April 23 which they failed to even get finished by Nov 23 when we were evicted. So we thought great, so we installed new carpets throughout and decorated. We didn't think eviction would happen as we had been good tenants. We paid rent on time no trouble whilst we lived there, so we thought we were good tenants.
We even said to Andrew Craig seen so you doing much needed work. We stated we will also, which we did. Also I found out that they knew well before fitting a new kitchen and allowing us to carpet and decorate throughout. Knowing they would be evicting us.
From reading other reviews they only seem to be interested in making money not matter how.
Thornley properties ltd if you check people under companies house you will see for yourself.
Must be a conflict of interest there as bias was definitely towards the landlord and not the tenant
Terrible people and terrible company, similar seems to be said from ex-employees as couple of people have said you should be grateful to have a job with them same was said about us having property from them. We should he grateful.

Heartless company. Section 21 after 10 years. No rent arrears. No compassion or sympathy. It's 'just business' apparently. Family of 4 out a month before Christmas.

I have used the Gosforth branch of Andrew Craig for a number of years now both buying renting and selling buy to let properties. I have dealt with Janet and Sarah for years and had excellent service from them both. So professional and efficient which is hard to find these days. My recent sale I was involved more with Alison who was absolutely brilliant the buyers solicitors were dragging their feet and Alison intervened and got the sale back on track, if it wasn’t for her I would still be waiting for the sale to go through. Thanks Alison and all of the team at Gosforth I wouldn’t use any other agent. First Class.

Georgia and her colleagues were excellent at keeping me updated through a challenging conveyancing process. They were key in keeping the process moving forward and very helpful in communicating messages between multiple interested parties. I would be happy to recommend Andrew Craig based on my experience with the Low Fell branch!

Andrew Craig (Low Fell Office) and, in particular Georgia, have been excellent in selling the house. Efficient and no fuss; exactly what you want. Two parts really stand out. Firstly, communications were first rate in that every aspect was fully briefed to me as it happened. Secondly, nothing was too much trouble and thus I felt valued as a customer. I will end by simply saying thank you for the service provided.

Approachable, professional and friendly, they are happy to update us regularly and have supported us through the process with a kind and helpful attitude throughout.

Be very careful of using this estate agent. They do not routinely follow up prospective buyers that visit the property and have not provided feedback to us unless chased. Their website search is also really poor.

Sold my house really easily after the first sale fell through. It was re-marketed immediately and sold to the one of the first people to view it!
