Avoid, avoid and guess what? avoid. I am disgusted with the service provided by Anglesey Marine Supplies, my items were not even delivered fully, nevermind on time. They have shown no interest in solving these issues. countless hours I have spent trying to get somebody to help me as my item never arrived. It was a waste of my time, and will be a waste of your time if you decide to shop with this excuse of a company.

I ordered a set of boat carriage wheels welded to my measurements from Phil, initially his comms (all email) were very good and he was quick to invoice which I paid immediately. His website looks professional - I just wished I'd have checked here before ordering. After a month passed and with myself chasing delivery, a box containing the wrong item was delivered. I requested a refund and a returns delivery address, neither were provided. The phone number on the website and invoice immediately goes to answer machine every time I rang. By email he said he would sort, however 3 weeks later the item still hadn't arrived. I then emailed him twice again which he ignored both times with no reply. Being ghosted by him I then had to contact my bank and received a full refund from them, thankfully I had paid on my card. Amazingly, what I had ordered then arrived (8 weeks in total, plus the measurements were also not exactly what I had requested). I was also immediately re-invoiced (which I paid).
Frustratingly I have been unable to use my boat during this time , especially given the fantastic weather we have had, all in all really poor customer service. My advice - save yourself a headache, avoid and shop elsewhere with a different business that values it customers.

Item was exactly as described and although I didn’t get by the stated date I emailed Phil and he responded immediately and I duly received my order. Perhaps he’s a little disorganised but hey! He’s much cheaper than anyone else. Definitely deal again

Honest review. Purchased a trailer from Phil in December 22. As already mentioned lower down, the trailer is sent by courier over a couple of weeks so please understand that. However for the price they are a great trailer considering an indespension trailer is around the £1300 mark. Any issues I had were responded to and put right by Phil. Would of been 5 stars if the fact the parts come separately over a few weeks had been communicated 1st as this caused some confusion upfront.

Ordered a boat steering wheel online this person will not take phone calls and insist payment on a card through the computer i have read other reviews and realised it is a scam thankfully to other people i did not send any money even though a tracking no was provided with evri be warned question why are credit cards being allowed with this person???????

How are credit card companies still allowing this guy Phil to accept payments ?
Ordered goods which like other customers have said were never dispatched.
Credit card company provided a refund.
Ridiculous he is still able to accept online payments

Despite paying for a trailer I am unable to get the goods, they keep giving me different information and different dates. I have been unable to contact them for a refund and am claiming back via my credit card. I suggest you DO NOT have any dealings with this company as I feel they are a scam.

Avoid like the plague! Purchased lighting board arms from Phil on1/11/21. Needed them urgently but nothing had arrived by 20/11/21 despite numerous emails and sms messages. I informed Phil not to dispatch them. I requested CC refund from HSBC which was processed on the 25/11/21. However, the bars arrived on 26/11/21 but were left on doorstep by courier so i could not refuse them (he hadn’t paid correct postage either). I requested Phil send a return postage label but instead he harassed me by repeatedly sending invoices and demands for payment. In the end I gave up and paid the £111.98 on the 22/12/22.

However at beginning of July 2022, HSBC reversed it’s decision as Phil had told them that he never received payment! You should avoid this company. He is a better web designer than a welder or business owner.

What a shame I didn't look at Trustpilot before ordering the dinghy launcher. In short, the Anglesey Marine website presents the image of a professional firm that can be trusted, but I realised there was something wrong with the company when I later found on its receipt for my payment: "Questions?" followed by a mobile number that receives neither calls or voicemail messages and an email address that Phil subsequently informed me was wrong too... It won't come as any surprise that after much chasing the launcher eventually arrived in four deliveries spread over a period of several weeks, but then physically couldn't be assembled due to incorrectly fabricated and various missing parts. A relatively minor matter was that there were no assembly instructions too... But had all the parts been present, it would in any event have looked nothing like the photograph of what I thought I was buying. Thankfully my complaint to Amex has brought a refund...
I don't know what the issue is with Phil the Welder but I hope for his sake he sorts himself out. It may be he would be ok with manufactured items that are 'off the shelf', but for anything like a boat launcher that needs to be fabricated I strongly suggest you AVOID Anglesey Marine Supplies!!!!!

I ordered their Boat Trailer Lighting Board Arms for £100 including brackets, the item I received looks nothing like the picture, has no right angles, poor and excessive welding with lots of sharp finger slicing parts protruding, 4 brackets, all different length, thickness and hole distances. 4 bolts instead of the 8 required, hex bolt instead of thumb version. Had to spend a hour filing away excessive metal to get the arms to slot into the bracket. This will require more time and another £30 worth of bolts and brackets to be useable. Please avoid this company.

The other comments are either fake or received items which this online fake store actually have or sell. Save yourself from the stress, panic, headaches migraines, sleepless nights, etc, etc. This website and whoever is actually running this fake online store is FRAUD. I experienced it myself!!! Ordered an item, never received it. Whoever you are and are reading this review by me STAY AWAY!!!! This is a professional FRAUDSTER that would have for sure MILKED honest buyers. I cannot express this enough do no click that payment proceed button!!! You will regret it!!! If you are reading this you have read something very important compared to the poor others that have not read it!!

Be wary although i did eventually recieve my launching wheels after cancelling transaction it was dodgy ,got tracking and said they had been dispatched when they hadnt after further false dawns/promises they did arrive just as i had given up as a scam. Best avoid in my opinion.

The reviews are sadly true. I ordered a set of launching wheels and a month went by and nothing. a courier tracking number was given, but no good if the courier hasn't received the goods. Phil stopped communicating,so I had to do a chargeback with the bank,which took another 45 minutes of my time. This man is a waste of time and a poor trader.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Ordered a trolley over 10 months ago which arrived in pieces over a period of 6 months, none of which match, or fit together, or make one complete trolley. Incompetence and dishonesty all the way. Small claims court beckons as he refuses to refund. DO NOT GIVE HIM ANY MONEY...

Launching trolley showed up, it did take longer than promised but in today's climate that's to be expected Phil answered my e-mails and explained the situation I think he may have more orders than hours in the day but still delivered

Currently in liason with the banks fraud team due to this company taking payment for a Chair back on 16th of July, were contacting back and forth with delay after delay, requested money back, asked for another weekend, then stopped responding to emails.

I ordered a trolley on September 12, 2020, received a shipped note Sept 21/20, recieved a demand for additional shipping funds on Oct 21, 2020, confirmed payment of the funds on Oct 22, 2020. I am in Canada so I accepted and paid the additional charges. It is now July, 2021 and I am still waiting for delivery. Biggr fool me. I wish I had seen this review site a year ago.

This a fake website. Never answer the emails and phone. Thanks God I paid with my credit card and they canceled the transaction.

I ordered 2 gul life jackets as all sizes available, I received to solas jackets which were not what I ordered and substandard for my needs, i holiday near the business address and arranged to collect the correct jackets. On my arrival at a small holding which was run down he stated he didn’t have any but he was still advertising all sizes for sale. He has a truck back with a few trailer bits in. He has to no stock, he cannot honour orders made. I would not part with any money with this seller unless he physically handed me the goods.
