I ordered 2 gul life jackets as all sizes available, I received to solas jackets which were not what I ordered and substandard for my needs, i holiday near the business address and arranged to collect the correct jackets. On my arrival at a small holding which was run down he stated he didn’t have any but he was still advertising all sizes for sale. He has a truck back with a few trailer bits in. He has to no stock, he cannot honour orders made. I would not part with any money with this seller unless he physically handed me the goods.

Hi I wrote a bad review before as I had not had my goods and could not contact seller by e mail or phone. Now my goods did arrive when he said and I'm quite happy it appears he is overwhelmed with orders .Paul moore

I found a bathing platform for our boat on FB market place, at first not realising that it was being sold by a company ( not that it really mattered to me as it was at the right price) Phil did send an invoice through quite quickly, which was a little unusual. As the name of the company was on the invoice, I thought it prudent to do a little google search. I found a few of the reviews a little disconcerting, so rang the owner of the business ( Phil) and had a chat. I suggest that a pay via PayPal which he doesn’t unfortunately accept. I didn’t feel completely comfortable paying the invoice given the negative reviews on here. Phil did suggest another solution, that he sent me the goods and I pay when I received them, to which I agreed. I found that he communicated well and listened to my concerns, and worked with me to find a viable solution.

I will not hesitate in the future.

Bought bracket online for shipment to me in Denmark. Came to find out that post Brexit VAT (25%) would result in prohibitive overall price. Quickly cancelled, but my payment had gone through my bank already. I asked about time needed for refund to go through, and it was arranged and went through within a couple of days.
I had not read the reviews here at all. My experience was ok. I am speculating that perhaps this is a small enterprise (as is my own) and the owner works hard to keep up with things; this might explain the mixed experiences reported in Trustpilot. Just speculating. I would buy again here.

DO NOT USE !! Phil has effectively STOLEN my money! I 'purchased' two life jackets from him, which he then said he could no longer supply so I asked for my money back. Despite numerous emails and promises to refund my money, I was still waiting over a year later so was left with no option to take him to the small claims court! I agree with the previous poster, and only wished i had read their review - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!

Contacted him re snipe trailer rollers, straight away he sent me an invoice. I paid, nothing received and no tracking info, I had to do a charge back on my card. He then eventually sent me an email apologising for not sending items different to what I had ordered. He had also sent the same email to other customers, their address was on my email, so I contacted them, and they confirmed they had received nothing,and were struggling to get a reply, oh and I still have those emails, so I challenged him and asked for a refund, which to be fair he did refund, but I had also put a charge back on my card. Not the most reliable in my opinion.

Phil was great communicator and helped me to buy the new Fulton jockey wheel on line and no issues.
It was so easy to buy.
Equally, the jockey wheel is great quality and a breeze to fit to my trailer.
Well done Phil.
My mate wants one now.

FRAUDSTER ALERT!!!!!!

I would give ZERO stars but not possible. This person is a one man band. Purchased a outboard bracket is FaceBook and paid via his payment system. He has not responded to my emails. His mobile number only goes to his voicemail and he does not return any calls.

Phil, thank you for your response. I can confirm I have had a refund today. However, it is your communication which is very poor, hence why I thought I was being scammed. Until this review, it had been weeks from ordering, sending you numerous messages asking where the outboard bracket is, to you now only responding to this negative feedback, of me stating you are a scammer. The goods were never shipped from my order placed weeks ago, which you have now proved. You may have a tracking number, but this is not proof of shipment as it states on Hermes tracker, not handed to courier. From this review site, you may not be a scammer, but I can see I'm not the only one who has had a very poor service from your one man band company. However, thanks for refunding after this review. Hope you take this review and learn to give better service.

Ordered and paid for an outboard bracket a month ago.
Phil took the money straight away and got an email back a day or two later to say it had been shipped (to Dublin)
Two weeks later I paid another demand (foolishly) for £10 postage excess to Ireland, so I knew then it hadn't been shipped.
Two weks further on now and phil has only rep\lied to one of my emails telling me "it's on the way and he'll send tracking number"
Despited repeated requests Still no tracking number and still no outboard bracket.
His Phone is never answered and e-mail replies are almost nil and totally unsatisfactory.

Phil is either a total messer or a total crook - I hope it's the former ??

I fitted my new sand skiper yesterday it was easy to fit and really good quality. What brilliant idea this product is .I will now be able to push my trailer and boat along the sand straight into the see .Saving me lots of money in boat launching fees. I first so this launching idea on youtube. The video clip is called (How to launch a boat in the surf.) I was that imprest with the idea .I searched the internet straight away.Anglesey Marine supplies was the only place I could find one in the uk.I was not disappointed excellent quality and great friendly customer service too.

I ordered a folding dinghy launch trolley on 16 Jan 21. Phil kept me updated regularly as to its status and it was delivered on 11 Feb 21, the wheels coming separately 5 days before. It came very well packed and is extremely robust and well-built (by hand, to order, made in the UK for a very reasonable price). I'm very happy with the product and the service.

Only used once, would never use again. Had to claim my money back from my credit card due to Phil not responding to emails. Stay away.

Ordered a pair of remote cables from phil at a very good price. although they took 10 days to arrive i was happy with my purchase, cables were what i ordered and undamaged and in new condition. Would order again from phil no problem.

Front Tender Dolley. I found the dolly on the website after searching high and low for a solution for lifting the front end of tender for moving long distances. The product is well made and arrived promptly. Communication has been good and I would buy from them again or if I had a need for a specially fabricated piece of kit I would go to them first. Excellent product and service.

Unbelievably incompetent operator with very poor customer communication. Runs his business to suit himself and not his customers. Some of the parts supplied needed considerable rework to be fit for purpose. (Boat trailer components purchased through a Facebook advertisement).

Other suppliers offer better quality at similar or better prices.

Excellent service, great communication. Such a quick easy purchase! Will definitely come back again. Thank you!

Impatience in my part saw me give a bad review below which is in process of being removed and apology sent.
Anglesey marine went way out of his way to make amends for a supplier issue. Sent me an alternative free of charge.!!
I would recommend his services and will post this on the various boat groups I'm in ..
