My reason for 5 stars is for ease of joining and price amazing from previous cover elsewhere 😁

The way they operate is highly efficient, vet only claims portal ✅, swift assesment of claims ✅, swift settlement of approved claims ✅, friendly knowledgeable staff on the phone ✅
4 stars rather than 5 because with any insurance company the increases of premium year on year is rather steep ❎
So much so it'll probably be less expensive to pay the bill myself shortly and cancel the policy

Wouldn’t use any other insurance for my pets. Claiming is always straightforward and payment received quickly. Excellent service.

My vet made the claim for me and within the week with only one query the claim was paid. If only all claims could be that easy

I have had many issues with my Shih Tzu Maisie over the last twelve months and very costly but Animal Friends have dealt with all my claims with no quibble and I totally recommend them to anyone thinking of changing insurer

Animal friends helped take some of the stress away when our dog became ill. They paid promptly for treatment and quickly gave our vet permission to go ahead with scans etc.
Having an ill pet is stressful enough without the money worries. Highly recommend.

I have had my horses insured with Animal Friends for a number of years but have never needed to make a claim until recently, when I have unfortunately had to make a couple. On each occasion, the claim was dealt with quickly and efficiently and the payment was processed without delay.

My vets dealt directly with Animal Friends for a recent claim and it was dealt with efficiently. Prior to this they also helped clear up a few queries I had with the process of my excess and customer contribution promptly regarding a potential claim. Thank you

This is not unique to Animal Friends...but 5 star could be given if premiums didnt increase so much and the 20% deduction made for animals over 8 years old was not applied. It's a double wammy.! Especially when a high excess amount is deducted too.
