Some scheduling issues, otherwise good service.

We had some scheduling problems due to staff sickness or unavailability. Otherwise the installations was very efficient and issues were dealt with. Hoped for some post-installation follow up to discuss a problem (though probably not Apple's) but not had one yet.

A little shilly shallying with the …

A little shilly shallying with the installation date but finally two teams came and completed the job in one day. Electrician arrived as arranged to disconnect and came back earlier than expected to reconnect. Fitters extremely courteous and pleasant and cleaned up scrupulously.

We have received excellent service from …

We have received excellent service from Apple. Right from the start the salesman was very helpful and answered all our queries, we were kept up to date with instillation dates and weekend fitters were arranged to fit into our availability. The fitters we're very friendly did an excellent job and cleaned up after they finished :-)

My wife and I have had three …

My wife and I have had three improvements completed by Apple Home Improvements, and each one has been done excellently, and by obviously
skilled and caring workmen and employees. They have kept to their time schedule for delivery and installation, been excellent craftsmen in their construction and fitting, and very informative from our first contact.
I would be happy to recommend the company and their employees to anyone.

Delighted with the service and the windows

We had two new windows fitted and are absolutely delighted with them. The fitters were quick, quiet and very polite. They put down dust sheets and left no mess at all. We were very pleased with the arrangements and follow up checks.

Replacement Windows in an old bungalow

Things went wrong, as they sometimes do, but the fitters did not despair!
They calmly looked for solutions and sorted out what needed to be done.The windows look great, they are fitted very well and we have no complaints

Good and then not so good!

The fitting of a Superlite roof to our existing conservatory was very successful resulting in a room that we can use all year round, The two men team was courteous and professional in their attitude and appeared utterly focused on doing the best job they could. The plastering team were also excellent and our electrician outstanding in all respects. Sadly our experience with the fitting of the patio doors was not as stress free. The job was demonstrably too much for a single fitter since the doors were very large. He had to return on 3 occasions to finish detailing in order for the job to be finished to our satisfaction and appeared to have a "that will do" attitude.

I have several projects carried out by Apple Home Improvements and every one of them have been done very professionally with very pleasing results.
I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone.
The installation crew that they have are very thoughtful, polite and curtious.

Beware the Salesman's Patter

The salesman from the Weymouth office assured us that if we wanted the scrappage discount we needed to sign now and have our conservatory installed by the end of July. Fine, that suited us and we arranged our installation dates. We booked holidays around it......
Within days head office are in touch with revised dates two weeks later claiming no knowledge of our original installation dates. They also said they used 3rd party installers whereas the salesman said they were all in-house.....
No compensation, all our fault for misunderstanding, no choice but to use new dates (no good as they clashed with booked holiday) or later......
Now the conservatory is going in over 4 weeks after initial installation date. Apple were unhelpful and unyielding once they have your money and you'll lose out if you now wish to cancel.......hmmmmm typical double-glazing company :-(
We wait with trepidation now to see what other problems arise and whether the final product lives up to the claims....
Disappointing because we were pleasantly surprised by the original ordering process. You live and learn.....

Would definitely recommend Apple Home …

Would definitely recommend Apple Home Improvements, from start to finish knew exactly where we were with the order/installation. Always there to answer any questions.
Installation guys were so friendly and clean.

Wish I could rate more but

Wish I could rate more but taking days holiday for nothing is blatantly p@ss poor with no communication as to why I'm sat waiting for no one to turn up. What another waste of a days holiday. A nice goodwill gesture of a free alarm system would be nice but seriously I hope you turn up tomorrow or don't bother turning up at all.

Initial sales meeting went well

Initial sales meeting went well, things went a little awry after that which were very frustrating. Canopy has at last been installed with the fitters doing an excellent job. Apple operatives within the office were very helpful in sorting out the problem.

Professional and caring company.

Just had a Zanuzzi combi-boiler and some radiators installed by A.H.I. The boiler comes with a 10 year guarantee so no more monthly maintenance contracts (£24.98 Corgi old boiler) apart from the annual required Zanuzzi service cost £90.
Very professional installation team that were prepared to listen to me and take note of any suggestions.
They made no changes without referring to me first as to how I would like things done.
There is also a 3 year 0% finance available which made a big difference to my wife and I as we are pensioners.
Highly recommended, better than the maximum 5 stars.

On the whole the installation was good

On the whole the installation was good. There were some issues however. Due to imperfections in the glass one window had to be replaced twice after the initial installation and 2 others had to be replaced once. Render around one window wasn't particularly well repaired. After 18 months, when pushing a blackout blind with rubber suckers onto the window, it cracked the glass. This had to be replaced at a cost to us even though there must have been a fault in the glass.
