Derek was super helpful when we called initially to enquire about a prescription dive mask. When we ordered it, the right prescription lenses were in stock and he fitted them the same day, so the dive mask arrived the next day!

Edit of previous entry and upgrade from 1 to 4 stars (all my previous experience of Aquanauts has been 5*, but to be fair I can't upgrade a 1 that far!).
Derek immediately responded to my review (below) and acknowledged that things could have gone better and made a fair offer.
You cannot ask more than for such a prompt and fair response.

I've always previously had a good experience with Aquanauts, which is why this review took consideration. I purchased a suit inflation cylinder this month, received it within a couple of days - usual service. However this new into stock cylinder had already run through nearing half its first test period.
I sent a query through the website, no response. A few days later I telephoned the store and the member of staff I spoke to gave the verbal equivalent of a 'so what'. I expect to lose a few months of test time on a new cylinder, but over a year?

Created an order and within an hour got a call telling me when it would be sent off and an update on an out of stock item. Great to see that some people/shops are still putting customer service at the top of the list. This was my first order and it will not be last.

I have used Aquanauts for a few things over time, the largest purchase being my Sidemount wing.

Most recently I had a strap break on my Scubapro Hydros Pro, Aquanauts from the initial email, dealing with Scubapro and communication with myself has been excellent! Always very quick to reply and forward updates. For a business who has a shop and also online shop to be this attentive to customers is amazing and more companies could learn from them!

My only gripe is I live too far away to visit their shop regularly and also utilise them more in all aspects of diving and dive equipment.

I have found that their prices are generally very competitive with other online retailers within the U.K.

I would highly recommend using this company, even if you pay slightly more than an online company from a different country, you have the piece of mind that they are a U.K. company with a physical shop which makes any problems easy to deal with. With the cost of living etc using our resident U.K. companies will help keep them in business and make for a better service for all.

Love the Apeks dry bag rucksack I bought. Great price, speedy delivery and a quality product that improves in “feel” and texture as you use it.

Online purchase for a wetsuit. The initial item I bought was dispatched very quickly and arrived well packaged and as described. Unfortunately it didn’t quite fit so I bought next size up and sent the original order back. Stuart was really helpful in advising on returning the item then super quick sorting my refund. Highly recommend Aquanauts, good price, good products and great service.

Great customer service. Have only used them once but will happily use again.

Ordered a wing through Aquanauts and upon receipt and testing of the wing there was a fault with the inflation port.
After a quick phone call and an email, they provided me with a return service and had the replacement wing send out the same day.

All in all, the team of Aquanauts were incredible helpful to resort this matter in the quickest way possible!

After visiting their online shop I needed to ring just to check on a specific of a product (twinset manifold) the staff immediately new which product I referred to and instantly new the specifics, good shop, knowledgeable staff, happy customer, highly recommend.

All my orders have been correct and processed quickly. There was one anomaly with an order due to Royal Mail, however the staff at aquanauts were swift to investigate and return with the explanation. I have only used them a few times but the staff seem to care about service with a friendly demeanour.
