From a contractor point of view, Ariba is one of the worst platforms for online proposal submission. Is is clunky, itrequires a maze of steps just to get to the proposals section, then, after sending... See more

Just like the other reviews, awfull. 1980's software
Just like the other reviews, this software makes me wanna quit my job. This software has no quick server at all, logs me out 5720937 times a day. This should not exist. I don't even think they care, it's like this software is from 1980, which is not even possible.
Writing from a supplier's point of view... Horrible
Writing from a supplier's point of view!
Invoices on average take longer to receive payment than a non-Ariba customer. Ariba constantly crashes or has bugs! Highly recommend not to use Ariba!
Worst workflow and interface I ever see!
Literally cancer if you're a…
Literally cancer if you're a "supplier". Expect invoices to take 3-4x+ longer to get paid. "Coincidentally" Ariba offers a program to get them paid early (for a significant % cut of course!). Obviously some sort of collusion goes on in which Ariba sweet-talks their clients into buying into their unnavigable "service" in effort to put the squeeze on suppliers who are not able to have equal negotiating power to say "no" to clients who insist on using Ariba. The extended delay until payment on invoices is then leveraged to force suppliers to sacrifice a NOT unsignificant portion of their money they are owed just to "keep the lights on" so to speak. An entirely parasitic good-for-nothing that profits off of intentionally and artificially created incompetency and inefficiency. Ariba could disappear tomorrow and the only difference in the world would be a positive one.
life is too short please remove Ariba…
life is too short please remove Ariba from planet earth it's terrible
I wish there was ZERO stars listed for…
I wish there was ZERO stars listed for this portal, because that is what I would rate it...absolutely no help, worst portal to navigate through, back a few years ago it was good, they actually had a customer service phone #, and when I called, I actually would get some help, no... you cannot even chat with help, you cannot call, it's absolutely hell, stay away from Ariba, it's my advise, they suck ... no help, nothing.
Absolutely the worst portal system…
Absolutely the worst portal system available.
UX is terrible, constant errors with no logical directions
Slow clunky website with terrible menu…
Slow clunky website with terrible menu layout, unclear what connected customers can/can't see. Only allowed a single administrator which is ridiculous for a global company like the one I work for. Logged into the sole administrators account to set up more user accounts and the company has been "temporarily blocked" presumably as we have some activity from more than a single location and we have 4 locations in the UK alone.. If you are looking to monitor your supply base look elsewhere.
Energy vampire
Well folks, it's true. Energy vampires do exist - they take the shape of soul-sucking pointless and comically impenetrable accounting systems like SAP ariba.
If I could afford to tell the torturers that make me use this clunky waste of life to stuff it I would. But if it's a choice between this and not getting paid, then head-bowed I go shuffling into the pit once again. God help me.
OMG! Avoid at all cost
OMG! I cannot believe such tedious system with archaic ways still exists in year 2024. My invoice payments were delayed for three f***cking months and still counting until the Ariba folks sort out their backend. Talking about the IT folks, they are super slow. Another disbelief in the digital age where things evolve at warp speed. These guys are living in the caves ...
Complete waste of money and bad for mental health
This software is the worst tool I have ever used for tender activities. It is clunky and full of glitches. It greatly increases the admin burden. It’s a nightmare to use for both suppliers and customers. And the technical support and customer service is poor or non existant, despite the disruptive feedback surveys popping up many times a day.
AWFUL on EVERY Level
I have been forced by multiple customers over the last 15 or so years to use this piece of garbage. It defies ALL logic that someone created this system, stood back and said "Yeah, it's great". It isn't even good, nor adequate, nor annoying. It is a soul crushing TIME SUCK every time I have to use it. I end up despising the customer forcing it on me.
Cancel Ariba services as it creates time wasting hell for suppliers
They need to start again. From a business who has been operating fifty years this is the most cumbersome useless interface I have ever been tortured with. I wish the company that pays money to Ariba would take responsibility for their own ordering and invoice processing. Heads should roll as those choosing Ariba on behalf of their company have let their company down by putting their suppliers through time wasting hell.
Utter garbage
I'm another small business owner forced to use SAP Ariba by a big client, to save them the work of manually entering my invoices.
And the system is simply awful. Utter garbage.
I am expected to understand what a "Service Sheet" is, and create one, when all I want to do is submit an invoice for payment.
The client cannot approve my Service Sheet because they require the service quantity to be AU. SAP Ariba allows me to set a Service Type as AU, but the quantity must be a number.
I cannot submit a sheet acceptable to my client, they cannot approve what Ariba enables me to submit.
The whole system is an overpriced, overly complex joke.
Theeeee WORST service
Theeeee WORST service received by any system, Rather use COUPA. We send an issue to Ariba support and we get a case number back, a day later we get a message saying case closed. no detail no nothing.
Avoid
Forced to use Ariba by a very large customer, I`ve managed to avoid it with two others previously, now I know that reluctance was justified.
Trying to submit an invoice is painful, self populating information is rejected by the site, it has to be deleted, manually re-filled and re-submitted. If you delete the self populated information and manually fill before submitting, it still gets rejected.
Everything seems to get rejected on first submission.
Nothing is on one screen.
print Invoice is in ~8point type in the top left hand corner of the screen, next to exit Invoice.
Exit takes you back to the Invoice, then you have to select Done (thats on the top right corner).
Every Invoice submitted generates six email notifications that it has been submitted, received, approved.
If they start charging a haircut on the invoice for processing it, I will be having words with my customer.
I dont know what useful purpose this software serves to my customer, but as a supplier it is time consuming, frustrating, un-intuative and needless.
A single line item Invoice generates two full sides of A4 when printed.
Kids were coding better front ends for video store DBs in the `80s.
Utter manure.
Refusing unsubscribe from email
They have the unsubscribe behind a login screen, which itself is illegal. I have contacted them 6 times over the past years to get unsubscribed, and they blatantly ignore my requests.
Extremely unserious company, and on my blacklist - meaning I will not work with then or with any company using them.
As a small business the requirement to…
As a small business the requirement to use ariba adds the better part of a day's worth of time to each order we have to process using this mess. I am not sure who benefits from using ariba other than ariba.
Even submitting a review is a pain. Cannot just submit it but have to continue with Google, or Facebook or Apple.
The software is clunky
The software is clunky.
For example, I lost power at my house, so my internet was out mid-session. I decided to just go ahead and tether to my phone to finish what I needed to finish. I got one error message after another because the IP Address changed. It is literally still me!
Also, I am just a non-profit and only have to use this stupid software because I am trying to be reimbursed by the city. I don't need to fill out all the things. There is literally nothing that represents my organization. Why are some of those required? For you to sell marketing data?
