From a contractor point of view, Ariba is one of the worst platforms for online proposal submission. Is is clunky, itrequires a maze of steps just to get to the proposals section, then, after sending... See more

No worth
I have used many systems and payment platforms across different companies and industries during my more than 20 years of professional experience, and this SAP Ariba has left me with the most unpleasant experience. It is not user-friendly, and there's no chat or support to help you with your queries. I feel that buyers and vendors are both simply unqualified to deal with this confusing platform.
ZERO STARS...
ZERO STARS...
Ive used Ariba through my company and had a disastrous experience. The system is not user friendly and support is terrible. This system is detrimental to small businesses. There is nothing redeeming about this.
One of the worst systems ever!
One of the worst systems ever. I deal with many different clients that use the Ariba platform and many of them don't even know how to use it. It's built more for the "analyst" than anything else and to produce an invoice, purchase order or even obtain payment is so inadvertently difficult due to the unconventional terms that "SAP" decide to use. AVOID like it's a Zombie coming towards you to eat your brains. Because this is what will happen to you if you ever have to use this pile of ****
This is not a "free" service
This is not a "free" service. If your customer uses Ariba/Sap don't believe the hype that the service will be free. We are required by a couple of customers to use this service and Ariba charges a quarterly subscription fee, a document fee and a percentage of what you invoice your customer. This Quarter, my invoice to SAP Ariba is due on March 10th. In the past 2 weeks I received a threatening email daily, telling me if I don't pay I will lose access to my account. Here is the wording on one email that I received from Matias on Feb 29th,10 days before the due date of my invoice:
"am reaching out once again regarding the overdue balance associated with your account.
Failure to comply may result in the suspension of your account , leading to restricted access to crucial transactions and vital information. Your immediate attention to this matter is imperative to prevent any disruptions."
Horrible way to run a business.
I finally logged into my account and paid early, on March 1st. Today, on March 6th I get another email telling me my invoice is past due. By the way, the website is the absolute worst to navigate. It is formatted as though it is from the 90's. There is no way to contact anyone except by email. If you can avoid it, I would.
Absolutely dreadful
Absolutely dreadful. Asking to add a credit card and taking the payments early. Duplication of payments because invoices also getting directed to AP. How do they expect to get paid, If we can access our invoices?? Accounts being put on stop because you cant access subscriptions without adding a credit card!! Its like fighting a losing battle. They have also emailed our clients, to chase us, which im very sure isnt legal!
Makes suppliers want to go out of business to escape
Impossible website to manage, expensive fees för suppliers, no support what so ever and a load of extra work.
Minus 5 would be the best rating but was unfortunatley impossible to give.
Incredibly unfriendly to use
Incredibly unfriendly to use. Uses too many clicks to create and submit a PO. Layout confusing.
How about just having a single screen of input.
I would rate it minus 5 stars if I could.
It is the worst!
Save me from this diabolical tool
Unless you're an expert user, using it every day, this tool is painful. We have to use because we're told to. It is slow, has a mind of its own, nothing works easily, it actually keeps me awake at night with worry - genuinely. I hate it. My team hates it. My suppliers hate it. It takes 5 times longer to do anything than basic email/file sending. You can't find anything unless the spelling is 100% as per loaded. I could go on but I'm getting annoyed just writing this.
ARIBA IS WORST SAP
Absolutely horrible UIs. I've done supplier registration for multiple different companies and each one using ARIBA is a nightmare to deal with. Basic things like form UI is pain. You cannot scroll down the page. What an absolute joke & pathetic experience.
unable to access my account
unable to access my account, get paid for work done. have tried repeatedly completely non functional and non intuitive
Total scam and extortion
Total scam and extortion. They sign you up without your knowledge for a enhanced subscription when buyer only requires standard. They start charging you thousands and thousands of dollars. You will never get out of since in order to downgrade you must pay invoices and they charge in arrears a fee of the amount you bill buyer and you do not even use their system for PO/invoicing. You pay invoice and are hit again with another invoice. DO NOT SIGN UP. THESE COMPANY NEEDS TO BE SUED IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT.
Pathetic and just Bad
Please tell me how anyone can use this pathetic tool. Every month I log on and it is a mess and such a waste of time. Today I can not submit an amount to invoice, the section is gone and after an hour of clicking everything to find it, my disappointment is now full-on rage. Is there anyone in this part of the company that can sort it out, I would be ashamed of this.
Ariba Terrible
I'm just at the set up stage, full day, terrible support.
If there is an error very hard to contact customer service.
I would avoid.
It is hard to do worse
It is hard to do worse, complete rip off, from beginning to end, incredibly hard to terminate account. Clunky, dysfunctional, terrible support, the list goes on ...
I could have given zero star if it has…
I could have given zero star if it has the option. I have gone through several awkward situations with at least three regular suppliers because of this horrible system. Hope our company switches to a better procurement system soon.
CONSTANTLY FAILS
It CONSTANTLY fails. It takes several steps to open and print a PO, IF - IF things go smoothly. On average it takes over an hour to open & print a couple dozen POs. Need to refresh, dozens of times (hourly), constant "exception" failures, 404s, reports print with only half the data...
There is zero support. When we first met the Ariba team they promised to always have a person to speak with, that was just a ploy after a couple months the reality set in and one had to submit questions via the portal, that are Never responded to or acknowledged.
To add the insult of having to pay them a commission, makes my blood boil while they deliver such a HORRIBLE product!
RIP RIP RIP OFF
How to kill supplier relationships
As a customer the onus is on us to labour through the tedious process. It does not make payment any easier or more fluid, just allows a greater delay and for a finance department to absolve themselves of all responsibility. I hate it.
Working on their product is like…
Working on their product is like smashing your head right against a solid wall!!! I don't know why they are still managing their legacy application which ideally should get deprecated ages before. It is very difficult to work on such an old project and lot of time & efforts will be consumed in doing the setup itself.
As a Buyer: Literally the Worst Software I Have Ever Used
I can only recommend this software for IT colleagues who wish to torture their buyers and suppliers:
-Horrendous user interface: makes me feel like a 90 year old grandma using the internet for the first time
- Zero logic behind its processes: designers obviously never actually worked in purchasing
- Massive amount of extra work and clicks to accomplish anything; we'd literally be more efficient using email
I cannot describe what I'd like to do to the loon who thought introducing this software to our company would be a good idea.
Highly Impressed with SAP FICO Course: Practical Learning with Excellent Support"
I recently took a SAP FICO course with jTrainings, and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the training. The course material was well-structured and easy to understand, and the trainers were highly experienced and knowledgeable.
What I appreciated the most about jTrainings' SAP FICO course was the practical approach to learning. The trainers provided us with a range of real-world projects to work on, which allowed us to apply our newly acquired knowledge in a practical setting. This made the learning experience much more engaging and valuable.
Furthermore, the flexibility of the course delivery was a huge plus for me. As a busy professional, I appreciated the ability to learn at my own pace and on my own schedule. The online platform was easy to use, and the customer support team was always available to help with any questions or issues.
Overall, I would highly recommend jTrainings to anyone looking to upskill or reskill in SAP courses. The quality of the training, the practical approach to learning, and the excellent customer support make jTrainings a top-notch training provider.
