Useless company, doing useless work. I cancelled my dd with a company since I do not use them anymore and yet I receive a letter about owed monies.

Pursuing me for an alleged debt to Plusnet of £39.68 a bill which I have never had. Would Plusnet really employ these villains to pursue an unpaid bill without first contacting their client? I don't think so. I ceased to become a client of Plusnet on 28th March when I told them my router had failed and it took them four days to confirm this and a further five days to get a new router to me. Because of this poor service I declined the new contract offer and sent the router back unopened with cancellation of contract form. I remained a phone line renter and user with Plusnet until 28th April when I changed to digital voice with my new broadband supplier. I paid my final bill to Plusnet by cheque for £18.74 which was cleared through my bank account on 23rd May since when I have had no communication at all with Plusnet let alone a bill. Arvato Financial Solutions haven't provided me with any details of the alleged bill and even after I challenged them with the correct details and told them to get back to Plusnet their response was to ask me to contact THEM by phone "to discuss the matter further" and "suspended any activity on your account for ten days to enable you to respond to this letter" This is my response Arvato Financial Solutions!

Absolute bunch of clowns sent out a "officer" to collect a debt owed to british gas.

Have spokeb to british gas to try and sort it out to be passed around departments or never get a call back when promised.

Tried ringing arvato today to speak to someone after being on hold to then be told there department is backlogged and no one can take my call, and because its now the weekend ill have to wait 48hrs for a call back.

If i invoiced companies for the amount of time on hold i could pay off the debt.

Utter crap customer service

Very rude member of staff. Refused to remove contact number. Spoke to June. Didn't wish to pass me to a manager after requesting several times to speak to a manager. Furthermore, up to date with my arrangement as been paying several days early but she said her system doesn't allow payments early and the arrangement terminated. Very strange!

I wouldnt of given them 1 star but have no choice,these people harrass,every other day,txt,phone,so much so i blocked their number,but they still manage to txt me somehow,theyre rude and just vile human beings...

Not surprised to see 34 one star review they don't even deserve a star. Extremely poor service takes weeks to sort out an issue their automated payment system is not reliable as customer would receive a confirmation of payment but Arvato's collection team won't know until you call them and go through a long verification process which takes unnecessary time as they would take around a week time just to respond a general inquiry. Businesses must stay away of this company as they would put your customer off

All agro via plusnet - Arvato are incompetent buffoons who just try to rip you off with extortionate charges and constant emails and phone calls - yet they dont listen and ignore anything you tell them on their portal. Best thing is to just email daily your problems (copy and paste) complaints AT arvatofs DOT com

Shocking company - Tried to set up a DD and they just keep you on the phone with no reason just chatting pure rubbish. Left the call and did not set up payment plan as they just seem to waste your time. Requested a manager call me back as i was not happy - we shall see how long it takes for a manager to call me back regarding my complaint. Cant see them calling back in all honesty.
New customer calling to put an arrangement in place struggling with money and costs and they want to chat with you about DD clauses instead of setting payment plans up and getting things sorted. Joke company 146285266

Harassing me for nearly 6 months over a bill that was ALREADY paid. They are chances just simply trying it on. Beware I had to block the numerous daily telephone calls and emails because of the harassment. The threats inside the telecommunication about court action etc are empty threats especially when I spoke to British gas and confirmed this bill has already been paid. Just go to financial ombudsman as I have done. Their staff are really rude and don't know how to speak on the phone either.

I was asked to make an offer which I did and paid that amount at the time of the offer. They are now chasing me for extra money above the offer and added to that amount, asked for a call back not happened as yet and they have the wrong company down as who I owe.
They would have had no stars if I could of.

Arvato Financial Solutions bombarded me with emails and text messages for weeks, with a vague reason of "a matter of mutual interest", which any sane person would obviously disregard as a scam, and quite rightly so.

Once I worked out that they had a genuine reason for contacting me, I settled the debt I had with the original service provider directly (no problem with that), but was unable to notify Arvato through their website, as the form didn't work, and they have no public email address for customers to contact them, which is simply unacceptable.

Some advice for Arvato: learn the basics of human communication, i.e. include at least some kind of indication of what the matter is about (any 4yo could teach you that), and provide an email address for enquiries. Not everyone is willing to make a phone call to teach someone to do their job.

It is quite clear however that this is a deliberate strategy in order to let time pass and claim interests, when people would be quite happy to settle issues promptly and without fuss. Shame on you Arvato Financial Services.

Total scam company, bad practices. Just avoid and block their number.

Started bothering me on messages re debt for a Mrs Deborah Hughill which is not my name nor the tenant before used to be another fraudulent company repeatedly contacting me on mobile & home phone cannot block them no number comes up..

I had a person that was called Neil.

I was not very happy with his attitude, he was trying to devulge information out of me about my other payments to gas, water, and many other bills.

This being right out of it !!! And none of their business.

I had cancelled my account with 1&1 over 6 months ago, though Arvato was sent my information even with the wrong surname

Eventually 1 & 1 are cancelling my contract on 23rd December 2021

And say I just need to pay ARVATO £12.00

Tonight I just paid £27.00 !!

Neil said this was interest, they only had the account a couple of weeks if that

I was reluctant to write this review as I know there are many trolls on trustpilot..

However out of sheer frustration I am writing this.

They are chasing a very small debt of £76 re Hastings who ripped me off an admin fee even though I had already paid and admin fee when I took out a new policy.

Arvarto are extremely unfriendly in their correspondences… Unnecessarily so.

I can’t email them at all… I work permanent nights as a truck driver and only available when they are shut.

Extremely frustrating business to deal with.

My wife is terminally I’ll and I am finding this process quite cruel for no reason.

Arvarto are pushing me to the edge of coping.

Hastings are rotten chasing made up debt… I have home insurance and car insurance with them… all I did was sell my car and paid an admin fee to renew my policy. I will not be using them again after this.

Arvarto should get all the facts first.

They should be disgusted in themselves. The company who went through arvato to try and get money from me refused to reply or contact me despite my numerous calls and emails. Arvato are now chasing me up for money despite their website payment option not working, them not contacting me like they were meant to AND me having proof that the company using Arvato messed up with my account by deleting my account but not cancelling my payment plan. Yet they are still chasing me for the money but i can't speak to anyone about it because their website is basically useless so you HAVE NO OPTION but to call?!
