I am deeply regretting saving the 30£

I am deeply regretting saving the 30£ on my new fridge. I keep getting delivery notices, making sure I am home, and then no show and no follow up info. Now it’s Saturday and apparently this company and the delivery company can’t be contacted until Monday. I will find out if legally I can refuse the delivery because at this point my trust with the company is fully broken.

Rubbish if I could have given no stars I would…

If I could have given no stars I would have. I purchased 500 bath mats with the intention of using them in the shower. I didn’t want 500 that was the minimum purchase. I was not advised they were not suitable for the shower. I took one out of the box tested it and would have killed my self in the shower it was like standing on wet newspaper. Ascot will not take the box back with one mat missing as their supplier will not accept the box back. BAD SHOW NOT IMPRESSIVE.

Great service great prices......

Recently bought and paid online for a some bits I needed to host an event. Had great service 👌 they emailed to say that they had received the order and that most lines were in stock and that 2 were due in over the next 2 days and would send the order all together once it had arrived. I then received and email saying all ready to be dispatched. My order arrived on time and great quality and products just as described and great value for money. Really happy and would purchase from them again.

Item Not in Stock and delay in refund

I ordered an item that was listed as in stock, but later received an email advising that it was actually unavailable and that a refund would be issued. A week has now passed and no refund has been received. I eventually got a refund but it took a bit of effort via email. I wont use this company again

Zero Star Experience - No Product, No Refund

Buyer beware. I placed an order and paid for a deep chest freezer. After two weeks with no update, I contacted support and was told the item was out of stock. The most frustrating part is their refusal to issue a prompt refund for an item they cannot fulfill. I am now forced to pursue a chargeback with my credit card company. I cannot rate this experience any lower. Zero stars for terrible inventory management and unethical refund policies.

Avoid any businesses with this company

We ordered a commercial deep fryer from this company 6 weeks ago for our takeaway, costing almost £3,000. It took 3 weeks for the delivery to arrive, and when it did, the item was incorrect. It then took another week for the incorrect item to be collected.

Since then, we have contacted the company multiple times to request the correct product. We were told repeatedly that the supplier needed to “check” before sending it out. Another 2 weeks have now passed, and we still have not received the fryer. Instead, we were told that we need to pay an additional restocking fee, which is completely unreasonable given that the mistake was not ours.

The customer service has been extremely poor throughout – unhelpful, unprofessional, and unwilling to take responsibility. We feel we have been ignored and pushed aside at every step.

We are posting this review to warn others and will now be seeking legal advice regarding this matter.

Avoid dealing with this company.

Communication isn’t the best but prices are

I read the reviews and was nervous about buying from Ascot Wholesale. The price was significantly lower than anyone else and I paid using Paypal. Order placed and email received with status ‘processing’. After just over a week I emailed and received a reply from Natalie who explained order was in Manufacture at Dualit. Order received over 3 weeks later and was perfect when opened. Communication isn’t the best but pricing is.

Best Catering Equipment, hospitality and Kitchen Equipment Website

I absolutely love this website for all things catering, kitchen and hospitality ! I’ve dealt with Ascot Wholesale on a number of occasions now and every time their customer service has been exceptional. My items arrive on time - super quick in fact and their value for money goes without saying. They have an extensive range of branded products as well, and I must say that their pricing is also very competitive. They are now my go to supplier. Thanks again for great products and outstanding customer care.

Avoid

Avoid! Bought product online after 8 days they informed me by email it was out of stock, requested a refund as I needed the equipment so I had to order form another supplier. They said ok we will issue a refund. 20 days later they have done nothing, no refund actioned at all. Called and I was told by Natalie that ‘maybe it has slip through, that she I’ll investigate and send an email when the refund is issued which sounded like she was in a rush to end the call. Rubbish service and very unreliable. One should not have to waste so much time chasing a refund because they cannot fulfil the order when they are showing items in stock on their website. Rubbish

Bad packaging arrives with broken glass as well as less than acceptable quality for the price - I know I was out of time for return but they were extremely unhelpful and wouldn’t let me exchange - very disappointing

If I could give this product a minus…

If I could give this product a minus value review, I would.

Utterly rubbish.

Doesn’t heat beyond the boiling point which leads to tepid drinks. 1st one we had suffered thermal shock and shattered, the second one has literally just stopped working.

For the money, you could buy a cheap Tesco own kettle which would boil the water to a temp hotter than the sun and last beyond the next Armageddon!

Awful, awful piece of tat!

A customer focused company

I only ordered a small item and there was a mistake on their website that allowed me to order one instead of a case of 4 when i realised that i checked the website next day and they had rectified it to only being able to by 4 as i had only paid for one i thought they would contact me to change the order but when i emailed Sharon who was very responsive she didnt bring the mistake up and the order was due to go out the following day when i received the parcel it was a case of 4 ,so i was very happy and showed that Ascot are very customer focused as they honoured an order at their loss so brilliant service great product and very good packaging !! five stars from me !!

Decided to avoid because of returns policy

IN fairness I have not bought anything from this company . I decided not to when I read the returns and cancellation policies on the website
BUYERS BEWARE
"Returns: Please be aware that we will deduct a carriage and restocking fee of up to 25% of the returned items’ value from the credit for the returned goods. The customer is responsible for transportation or shipping, including appropriate packaging, to ensure the safe return of the product to our warehouse.
and really beware if you need to cancel the order
"All orders cancelled with Ascot Wholesale Ltd. will incur a minimum fee of 10% (of the total order value).
This fee may increase to 30%, depending on the order status and whether the goods must be returned to the manufacturer.
Goods collected and returned to Ascot Wholesale Ltd. may incur additional delivery charges.

I ordered 6 glasses on the 05/04/2025

I ordered 6 glasses on the 05/04/2025. I was expecting the order a week later, I phoned the company and they said that they were out of stock and had to be ordered. Three weeks passed and I called them again as they do not respond to email enquires. Last week I had a notification from APC for next day delivery which never arrived. I called APC and they advised that the items could not be delivered as they were smashed. I called the company last Friday to cancel and get a refund. I have called them again today and they have not processed my refund or any record that I requested one. I have asked Amex to return my funds. A seriously usless company.
