I bought a Lincat LPG fryer, it came quickly and was cheaper than everywhere else. Very good service!

I ordered a griddle on 7th March and once I’d paid I never heard anything. On 11th March TNT left a card saying they’d tried to deliver my griddle. I had not been told it would be coming or given any indication of what was happening. I then went on TNT website and re-arranged a delivery for Monday 15th- but although I stayed at home all day no delivery was made.
I rang Ascot and firstly I was told they don’t use TNT so the card can’t be from their delivery, then after checking I was told it would be coming direct from Lincat and gave me numbers to contact TNT to arrange another delivery.
I rang them on 16th March and was told it would be out for delivery that day but did not explain why it had not been delivered on the Monday as I requested, I just got an apology. I explained I would be at work on the 16th so no one would be home so in the end I agreed to them leaving it in a safe place. Not happy that a griddle costing over £300 had to be left outside but with me working there was no way I’d get it otherwise.
So after over a week I finally got my griddle. I’m just so glad it was a replacement for a working griddle I already have and not to replace one that had broken down !!!!
I would not use this company again as lack of correspondence was just not good enough... I’ve had more emails and correspondence buying a pair of jeans!!!!

I recently had cause to ask for a refund (I had ordered the incorrect items) and without any questions, Ascot accepted my returned items and provided a full refund. This level of customer service and ease of purchasing is rare, and it makes me very keen to use Ascot again in the future. I would very confidently recommend Ascot Wholesale to any organisation looking for cookware / glassware products.

We were after Chef & Sommelier wine flutes and glasses but were unsure what matched with what so rang customer services who assisted us very professionally. Prices quoted were a fraction of those quoted elsewhere together with free delivery. Ordered 16:15pm and arrived next day 08:15am all perfectly wrapped. Quality of product exceptional. Whole experience from initial phone call to courier delivery faultless.

I have ordered set of craft beer glasses to gift to a friend and try it out on Christmas on 9th December and despite have been told twice that it will arrive anytime now the parcel is nowhere to be seen.
No despatch email or tracking information is provided. Like someone said here I should have checked the reviews on here. It's also funny how perfectly 5 star reviews appears after every bad review.

It’s when things go wrong that you find out who you are dealing with.
Despite good packaging, labelling and the usually dependable DPD some of the crystal glasses arrived in bits... “Here we go” I thought, anticipating lots of hassle and time to get it all sorted out.
I called with a heavy heart. Lisa couldn’t have been more helpful. Arranged the replacements and their dispatch immediately, no hassle - everything you hope will happen when you have a problem to solve - but so rarely does. Replacement glasses arrived perfectly today!

The Gin glasses I received are not the same as the image used on the website. I ordered glasses with a tall thin stem, instead received one's with a short thick stem. Completely different to what I ordered, very disappointed.

Lisa is absolutely helpful and friendly. She made my day completely shine! Her response and follow up are fast! The main thing is your can hear her 'smile' over the phone. Make us think Ascot wholesale first when we need to shop any catering/ bar equipment or glass. Great prices and excellent customer service!

I called their 'sales support' line to be told that I couldn't order over the phone and that there was 1 6 slice toaster left - I thanked the lady, hung up and immediately ordered on line - their system apparently took 30 mins to recognise my order resulting in the last one being sold - so rather than waiting 3-5 days I was asked whether it was ok to wait 6-8 weeks - rubbish service - spent more and bought one from Amazon who delivered in 2 days

I have seen your response and do not accept COVID as an excuse for poor communication - a cheap shot - having no supply can be due to COVID, but your lax ordering processes have nothing to do with it

My first purchase. Deliver has been extremely quick. Very well done packaging it kept save the extremely delicate crystal glasses inside. Easy buying process. I'll buy again for sure.

This the first time I've ordered from Ascot Wholesale and I would have no hesitation in doing so again. I placed an order just before midnight on Oct 20th......and my goods have just been delivered. That, for me is excellent customer service, so I can only think that any bad review written below, has simply been unlucky. I'd placed an order with a competitor on Sep 11th......and I'm still waiting for the goods I've paid for, or some indication of where they are.....if you want truly bad service, believe me, it's out there. I will be recommending Ascot Wholesale to my colleagues and other small business owners without hesitation.

I have found this company nothing but helpful honest and very very reliable. I am in the process of fitting out a site canteen for a new train station a redevelopment in north London for Volkerrail . Katie has taken care of all my orders from griddle, fryer, Bain Marie and various stands . All equipment delivered on time .. delivery driver calls before allowed on site .

I would seriously avoid using this wholesaler. They seemed competitively priced and reliable but the subsequent orders that we placed were a disaster. We ordered the items assuming they were in stock as there was no indication to the contrary. After a couple of weeks I started chasing up the orders as we hadn't received any updates. They then told me that the items were out of stock and started giving me false expectations about delivery dates. When these dates came and went with no contact from them I chased them up again and again. In the end they sent us a different product to what we had ordered. We wanted compostable lids but these were plastic. They didn't explain that this is what they were doing and they actually said that the company who made the cups had supplied them we these but when we asked them to provide proof of this they just went silent. We requested a refund for another order that we had placed which was also delayed which we received but they never followed up with us about this or our complaint. The customer service was really poor. We were without lids for over a month and this affected our business. I will not be dealing with them again.

I would also like to add that before giving a response to my review. Ascot Wholesale tried to have my review removed citing that it was untrue. I had to send Trustpilot correspondence to prove that I had been a customer.

Simply awful - no contact, week later told 'problem with supplier'- just give them a miss.

Slow on delivery as they were waiting on new stock. Apart from that the items have arrived well packaged, undamaged and are good quality!
