We rented a car at Athens airport for two week. Good welcome, thorough examination of the car which was in a very good condition. Same quick experience at return, ACR lifted the guarantee one month after the end of the operation.

We were met in the arrivals hall by Frank, from ACR. He took us straight away to the car in the carpark where the paperwork was completed in 5-10 minutes; the drop-off arrangements were explained; we were given the number to call if we had any problems (we didn't) and anything we needed to know about the car was explained. This was the speediest pick-up of a holiday rental car we've had in 30 years.
Also, on our return someone from ACR phoned about 9.35 a.m. before our scheduled 10.00 a.m. return. We explained that we were held up in slow-moving traffic on the motorway and Google Maps was saying we'd be arriving about 10.10. That was fine. When we arrived the man from ACR (sorry, we didn't get his name) was waiting at the side of the road as we approached the Short Term Parking 1. He waved us in the direction of the entrance and when we entered he pointed us to a space in which to park. We offloaded our luggage while he completed the paperwork and we were on our way into the airport within about 5 minutes.
This was a very easy, smooth experience without the usual long queue at the "Big Name" rental company's desk. We had the car for 18 days with no problems.

Andreas at Athens Car Rental is professional and courteous. From the booking online to the supply of the car the company was prompt with its response and service. Andreas delivered the car for us in Athens and everything went as planned. The vehicle provided by the company was in a very good condition. We returned the vehicle at the airport and am very thankful at the service this company supplied. We will definitely be using ACR in the future. Andreas at Athens Car Rental is professional, fluent in both Greek and English and above all else he’s a kind person. The moment I contacted ACR from Toronto, Canada the company was prompt with a response. There were no hidden fees and everything was explained as to how I would pay for and pick up the vehicle. At VENIZELOS (Athens Airport) Andreas was waiting for us and everything went as planned. The vehicle provided by the company was an upgrade and in amazing shape. I returned the vehicle in the same condition as I received it and from the same location. I am simply amazed at the service and the very high level by which this company functions. I will definitely be using ACR in the future. I may also purchase a vehicle from them at some point (if they sell their well taken care of vehicles). The whole process of hiring a car from this company was simple. An email to confirm the booking and then being met at arrivals at Athens airport and walked 100 yards to the car. Returning the car to the same carpark was equally easy being met by their staff who were all helpful and friendly. I will certainly use them again and would not hesitate to recommend.

I’ve been renting from ACR for the last 6 or 7 years. We go the Athens every year for about one month, so the cost per day is important. ACR’S fee structure allows for lower costs per day the longer the car is rented. Their prices are consistently lower than most of the other car rental companies.
They meet you at the arrival hall, and it only takes a few minutes to complete the paperwork and the car is parked across the street in the short term parking lot. They can also deliver the car to another location in Athens for a modest fee. They have always been on time for arrival and departure.
They allow ferrying the car and a second driver free.
The quality of their cars is very good. I’ve never had a mechanical problem with any of their cars.

I have used ACR for the past 5 years and can honestly say it is one of the best car-rental experiences in all of my travels in Europe. Efficiency and honesty is their trademark and I always feel that I am being taken care of. In this cut-throat industry ACR are a breath of fresh air for us consumers. I recommend tham 100% and will always look to them for car-hire in Athens.
