the ribs & burgers were good. calves liver & sweetbreads were rubbish, pork tasteless. they have been very fair & sent me replacements for the items, very good burgers & flat iron steaks

Every bit of meat has been amazing!!

I love eating fresh and healthy food and I can honestly say the meat from Athleat is the best I have tasted from anywhere. I have tried several other internet retailers, some good and some bad, but Athleat is now the only supplier of meat I will use. I can't say more than that - apart from the beef jerky is out of this world! - my new go to snack after a workout. Thank you Athleat, highly recommended.

Athleat is a small company one of the few not absorbed by the giants. Athleat meats supplied to us have been full of tenderness, flavor and goodness, That being said by an arrival from an Arizona and a Texas cow town eight years ago, places Athleat alongside the very best in the USA and way ahead of most.

We've been getting our meat from Athleat for over 4 years now and the choice, quality and delivery system have always really appealed. The Rep Box makes decision making so much easier as well. We haven't had any problems with their service in this time and any questions we have had have been answered quickly. Can recommend them highly!

Great food and easy delivery

Good service with no problems. Could have made it clearer on website that item ordered came in packs of 2 which wasn’t immediately obvious on arrival.
Very well packaged and will certainly use again.

My first order went great. It was a couple of months later, when their website went down, that things started to go south, and they've never gotten better. In fact, they've gotten worse.

When their website went down, myself and who knows how many other customers were unable to cancel our repboxes. That time, I was able to get ahold of someone in customer service who rerouted the package and they refunded me.

The next time, I was notified by the courier that a parcel was expected.I had never received an email telling me I had 24 hours to cancel. I decided to keep it since I'd paid for it, and it seemed too much hassle to try to do anything about it.

This time, I didn't get any sort of notification until hours before the package was delivered, and again, this was from the courier, not athleat.

I contacted athleat, who said they would check it out and call me back shortly. I never received a call back, so I tried to call again today, and have been unable to get anyone to answer the phone. I had left the box unopened in my entryway, not sure what to do with it at this point.

I also tried twitter. I then realized the person I spoke to yesterday emailed me instead of calling me back. She passed me off to someone else, who said to check my junk mail, and that all was working fine on their end. I do get marketing emails from Athleat, but I have not gotten a single notification of the 24 hour cancellation, the order being processed, or dispatched since their website went down.

Given the nature of the product they sell, you would think they would have followed up as promised, by calling back, which would have been faster. Instead I get an email, which I didn't even know to look for, and which offered no resolution and no care for the customer as they claim. They go on about how they wouldn't want you to have an order you don't want, and yet that's exactly what's happened here. I just hope the chicken is still good, since it seems it's my rather expensive problem now.
I have cancelled my repbox, it's more hassle than it's worth.

***Edit to update: December 22nd, 2017 - No one has been in contact with me as promised, and nothing has been resolved. I stand by my original review. And yes, I've checked my junk folders, and every other folder! Not received any phone calls either.

Excellent meat - delivered on time.

The quality of the Chicken was superb, very well packed and arrived very cold and fresh!

Great quality meat. I would recommend to anyone

1. Ordered four lamb chops at 4 oz. Arrived four lamb chops at 3oz!

2. Ordered three Veal Eascalopes at 8oz each. They arrived having been put through a tenderising machine. Good veal does not need that treatment.

Excellent product, excellent customer service, would recommend to everyone.

My personal circumstance this amazing company were let down by the spanish courier service who delivered 3 days late and completely defrosted. (this is painfully common in this country so absolutely no fault of athleat) The customer service team however dealt with the issue immediately and without any hassle what so ever.
